She stood amidst the tropic breeze
the girl with blue Aruba eyes
Between the fruiting mango trees
neath pastel sunset shimmered skies
Meandering this summer’s eve
we stroll the shoreline hand in hand
Where lemongrass and grottos weave
and footprints wander in the sand
Alone this twilight paradise
as moonbeams glow on suntanned skin
Melodic turquoise waves entice
a seaside romance to begin
When here on dampened shore we kiss
my heart it beats in whispered sighs
Her beauty is my island bliss
the girl with blue Aruba eyes

I am a basset hound and I love to play
I can run and jump all day
I really love magic and tricks
I also love chocolate bics
Yummy! They are so good
I would eat a packet a day if I could
My name is Lady and here is a story all about me
I'm a funny looking dog you see:
Lady was home alone
All she had was her green plastic bone
Her owners had gone out for the day
And Lady really wanted to play
Miserable, she lay on the ground with her long floppy ears
With watery eyes, it seemed as though she was about to burst into tears
Suddenly she perked up when she heard a squeaking sound coming from the house
Lady became excited, she hoped it was a mouse
She barked out loud and ran towards the sound
Lady was such a clever basset hound
With her long nose, she sniffed out the little mouse in his hiding place
The whole morning turned into a playful ‘dog and mouse’ chase!
The mouse was too fast for her and escaped through a small crack in the wall
He was terrified of this funny looking dog who stood two feet tall
Exhausted, Lady flopped down in her basket to rest
She had tried her very, very best
She closed her eyes and had a long nap
And dreamt that she managed to squeeze through the scary dog flap
When Lady woke up, her throat felt dry
She needed a gallon of water to drink and she alone knew why!
The sun was shining and it was hot
She found her bowl and gulped down the lot
Lady looked at the new dog flap
She lifted up one of her paws and gave it a sharp tap
She took a chance and pushed herself through the gap
Relief flooded through her, she had made it out of the flap
Out in the sun
It was time for more fun
Lady headed to the beach
It wasn’t far, within her reach
Calm blue sea with the tiniest of waves
Grottos and amazing caves
Lady’s paw marks were all over the sand
She loved to play by the sea and on land
Cool air blew around her as she splashed around in the sea
What a great feeling it was to be free!
The aroma of food was all around
She was always hungry, this hilarious hound
An ice-cream van was parked nearby
Lady drooled and just stood by
A young couple spotted the little dog sitting down on her own
Her sad brown eyes caught their attention, they each bought her a cone
Lady wished that she could shout
She clenched both cones in her mouth
She licked off the chocolate ice-cream and wolfed down the rest
A dedication by Joe:
In one minute of expression!
In the hour of an age;
I saw the fruit of inspiration
A largesse from heaven’s mage.
So I reached out to its fire
My heart big as blue sky
Just a soul tugged by awareness;
such elucidation I’d descried.
These words could melt in my essence!
The very being of my breath….
I sensed delight could dance between us
true life rejoice o’er mortal death.

The Maverick
Dedication by Michelle:
Within silent chambers of darkened grottos
wandered displaced, my weary muse.
Until he jumped forth from a page of notion
this steadfast man of no recues.
Blue flames did stoke declining embers,
he gave the spark to matchstick thought.
Within a fiery blaze of blessed insight
his verse and rhyme my spirit caught.
.
Idle minds can’t spin on moving axis
though cognitive fire will sing and dance
Guided by captivating poetic precinct
I affably admire his erudite stance.

My simple soul, my eyes,
Have never beheld the jewel of the night,
The morning star that ushers in
The dawning of a new day.
My brief inner heartbeat has never felt
The gentle pelting of the rain,
As it descends downward
Gently, peacefully, magically,
Like the mist of a cascading waterfall
Hidden deeply
Far away
Somewhere in the distance
In the mysterious grottos and crevices
Created by God,
My only friend.
Dearest mother.
Although we were together for those nine months,
I never knew you.
My simple soul, my eyes,
Never beheld your soul, and your eyes.
And although you held me,
I never held you.
Citizens of Earth:
You have no idea.
You have no idea.
See how Christmas fete on earth
Indians will walk to the mass
Enjoy curries and sweets enmass
Australians hang wreaths girthed
Here Santa gives rest to reindeer
Changes dress for less ”hot” with cheer.
Chinese light streets and stores with mirth
Santa is called “Shen Dan Lao Ren”
In shops only the grottos plain.
Yule logs burned in French hearth
With food left, the logs burn all night
In case Jesus comes in the night.
Russians fast till first star rebirths
Then break fast with Kutia eating
For good luck throw some up ceiling.
Ways and approach differ on earth
Call him Christ, Gud, Gott, dieu, dio, God
Ishwar, Allah, he’s the same lord.
See how Christmas fete on earth
Australians hang wreathes girthed
Chinese light streets and stores with mirth
Yule logs burned in French hearth
Russians fast till first star rebirths
Ways and approach differ on earth

You came, masquerade in woman. You were a spirit
adjacent to God and the angel
spilled from projection below my waistline.
But beyond these four walls call home
You walked the boorish sidewalks. I found you
in comfortable wardrobe.
Your hieroglyphics are seen
in grottos filled with bat droppings.
Who are you behind the woman I found
in Freeport August wind? Your hair, alive
like curtains in the draft, motioned to me.
For three slow years
we walked the sea front, fronting;
we kissed. Your tongue in my mouth,
in public places (before the huge sea cows)
painting cartouche in a new cave.
I turn from mother and father, like I did Jesus.
They could read you like the big black Bible.
I missed you … on wintry days. The furnace
was warmhearted and we rubbed our hands
together. Hands will do anything
to rouse a feeling,
like masturbation
and tickling a dirty armpit for a giggle.
We were living a sex life, outside of other senses.
I never cover my mouth; you were everywhere –
the men’s room, the men’s night outs, rum bars,
and in the cemetery; on that flat grave.
Now when I see them …
my words cut my tongue off
and my lips are stitched together with shame.
My heart was damaged, the intercourse gone,
but the home is unbroken. The child is heaven.
Wake up to the magnitude of the responsibility you shoulder
In singing the destiny humankind deserves
Betraying secrets to the egregious egret whose stakeholder
In his demented demeanour reserves
The right to plan, design and manufacture weapons of mass destruction
Whose reach and damage could wipe out the future humankind
Treasures in beliefs, norms and cultures whose construction
Aimed to implant virtues which find
Resonance, consonance and conformance in every facet
Various genotypes and phenotypes of the human race
Wear in awe and glamour that make up the alphabet set
That defines human nature in every trace and face
Living on the face of the Earth in the love habitude
Throbbing in hearts
Whose latitude and attitude
Once embedded in all Arts
Identified in caves, in grottos, in frescos, in cathedrals, in mausoleums
Breathing and preaching love
In beating hearts, in museums
Below and above
The heavens wake up, speak up
To reconcile warring religions, ideologies, mythologies, methodologies
Crawling as dregs at the bottom of the cup
Where the secret to the survival of the human race lies in new psychologies
Whose central tenet
Reduces
The Internet
To a platform where love produces
An elixir that metamorphoses human life
Into a form that lives forever
If only humankind could wipe away strife by mastering the art of playing the fife
Whose tenderness tune cures life brevity in a laboratory located in Denver.
All the Ladies love spring flowers
Believe in fairies dancing in the wood
Cupid arrows has their name on
Daisy chains as signs of love
Every lady loves fresh flowers
For birthdays or just true love
Gardens bright with daffodils
Hedgehogs waking for the spring
In an ancient wood blue bells flower
Just strolling in them makes you smile
Kiddies checking buttercups , if butter is their cup of tea
Ladies plucking petals, he loves me, he loves me not
Make believe hidden grottos
Never knowing if April showers will wet you to your skin
Old man river trunbles slowly
People punting and birds a singing
Quintessential English springs
Raining when the weather wants to
Sunny when you give me that smile
Tank tops worn as the weather warms you
Umbrella's at the ready
Village greens with cricket pitches made ready for a day's play
Willow on to leather and then a cup of tea
Xmas thoughts have been forgotten on this spring day
Zig zagging swallows in the skys.

Dry caverns yearn for fountainheads
Splashing whirlpools filling streambeds
Dusty grottos of emptiness
Laugh with wellspring’s joyful excess.
Parched hollows in transformation,
In arid anticipation,
Longing aqua waves sweet press
Laugh with wellspring’s joyful excess.
Deep reservoir of creation
Hears the flowing invitation
Swirling clear tides swell in access
Laugh with wellspring’s joyful excess.
Dulcet fountains gush in rebirth
Sweet waters burst out from dry earth
Living waters with grace to bless
Laugh with wellspring’s joyful excess

Empire Of The Ants
The ant is a very powerful insect as it
can move ten times it's own bodyweight
and has the ability to create huge
underground cities and colonies.
Most ants, have their own special ability
and are ruled by the Queen ant, similar
to bees, they all have ranks and they
also have their own special duties, the
worker ants will excavate and build little
catacombs forming them into little grottos
The ants live and store food in their large
cities of earth connected by a network of
large tunnels created by the workers.
The soldier ants are there to guard the
Queen along with the other ants from
predators, The Queen's protection remains
paramount and the other ants are her
loyal subjects of the large empire she
has built.
In the lower tunnel a large obstruction is
blocking the path of a storage warehouse
being built. a large group of reinforcements
are called in to move the large stone, they
all pull at the blocked section, with their
powerful mandible claws they finally remove
their obstruction.
The Ant, is so much like mankind, as they build
cities and are the only other species that wage
war on each other, and are capable of warring
with other ant colonies, there is a strong
connection between the two species, but all
this does not stop these amazing creatures to
evolve into the future.
Who knows one day these ants may even become
a more powerful force than man himself, no one
can predict the future of the human race as the
ants evolve into higher life forms, it may well end
up becoming the empire of the ants.

Each day’s steps
Each day’s steps stolen and stinks not sinks
Taken to the success
Horrible pucks
Each day’s steps stolen and stinks not sinks
Tomorrow’s steps swallowed
Determining the determination by the demotion
Steps taken today, awaken the abandoned in pain of rain
Each day’s steps stolen and stinks not sinks
The drizzle idle of ideal
Compare lengths of their steps
Depending tallness to reach the upends
Human lengths, weights and heights
The drizzle idle of ideal is running without under your own steam
Trepidation using owns-
Steps irregular considering
Heights, weights, and lengths in grottos
Equalize steps
While achieving success
I hear Christmas is coming,
Santa songs people are humming.
Crazy days and cuddly nights,
Joy and love, fairy lights.
Hushed tones, mindless giggles
resound,sweet memories, curious glances
all around.
Yes, I hear Christmas is coming.
Can you hear the festive drumming?
Soon roast turkeys will sizzle in the oven,
puddings and dundee cakes eaten by the
ton.
Munching on piles of dried fruits and
cookies,
and women will be exchanging juicy
recipes.
Christmas will forever remain a gem
as a special boy was born in Bethlehem.
Yup, I hear Christmas is coming,
dancing with guitars strumming.
Baubles and bright lights dangling from
trees,
children coming out of grottos with
freebies.
It's this festival that teaches giving.
Do some good deeds while you're living.
In Heaven Jesus is praying for our
survival,
I'm sure He is hasty for His arrival.
Ho! Ho! Ho! I hear Christmas is coming.
It is time for redeeming.
Folks on the streets are dancing and
singing,
Even the grumpy ones seem to be
enjoying.
Christmas miracles touch all mankind.
Grouches become givers, selfish become
kind.
No reasons for sadness, no excuses for
failing,
the spirit of Christmas heals the ailing.
It's true Christmas is coming.
The joyous fever is just resuming.
In everyone is seen childhood innocence.
Intimacy and charity is common for once.
Chocolate coins and Advent calenders are
in vogue,
Visits are frequent to a Church or
Synagogue.
Everyone joins in to celebrate Christmas.
They have waited for this day with
eagerness.
Chanting in the air, Christmas is coming.
Let's see what this Christmas will bring

Athena looked into my eyes,
The frigidity of her heart
Softened. Athena panic’d
Within innocence of my
Eyes. I couldn’t help but
Crumble at her feet. Athena
Burst into tears. We held
Each other until the sun rose.
How do I again hate? For
Love is the pain of Yahweh.
I now ponder within thoughts of
Non-objectivity—Athena has
Slipped through my fingers.
God! Hast thou ever loved me?
I search for Athena: desperate
Eyed, Byzantine bewitched,
Afflicted from cloudberries,
Crawling through grottos
Of absurdity. I yin a hovel
Of refuge to rescue me of
My love of Athena. Is there
Such a refuge? Athena! Hold me.
