I sense the fullness
in fleeting moments
At those rare times
I'm able to let go of me
The ebbs and flows
of non linear thinking
when I am part of the everything
I was born to be
For within the simple
Magnificence is grasped
The beginning precedes an ending
that in the future will be passed
Over and under
all the spaces in between
If we look only with our eyes
the answers won't be seen
Quiet is not time wasted
each moment we have has been lent
Some things don't require saying
Through actions we learn what is meant
Feel the power of pausing
Within a moment thoughts can crystallize
By choosing to listen with intention
We learn the wheres and whys
Observations is much more important
then any of my (me)s or (I)s
I often get lost within my own talking
and hold onto my wordy lies
When I use a different kind of perspective
I hear the whispering of the Wise
Floating upon eternal verses
as within my being they steadily rise
Viewing the mosaic of all creation
The wonder of how all things interconnect
the order of God's magnificence
creates inner peace and Holy respect
My thoughts are no longer singular
Like droplets of water ideas collect
The things in life most important
I see things I didn't expect
For no person is truly independent
Through God's grace we draw every breath
Here within this total miracle
I've witnessed God's width and His depth!
I believe our souls recognize our creator when we are in tune with God's Creation.
Lord,
You see me as a saint
While I see myself a sinner
You see me on the next page
As I'm stuck on this one dog eared
You see me as beyond myself
I see me where I'm at
You see me like nobody else
Please help me to grasp that fact
Lord,
You see me through your sacrifice
I fall down on my knees
You see me through the breath of life
In you I need to breathe
You see me in pure love
A love I'd love to have
You tell me that you are enough
Please help me to grasp that fact
Lord,
You see me in eternity
I see myself finite
You see me beyond the veil of humanity
I've yet to turn on that light
You see me as your greatest creation
I see all that I lack
Over me you have elation
Please help me to grasp that fact
I took a deep breath
And reached into the bag of my heart.
Before I exhaled.
I took a step in thought.
This gift I have for you, it's not like I have a receipt for it.
Hoping that you'll like the one size fits all kind of moment.
A gift straight from the heart in the promise of watching your face melt in anticipation.
A moment carefully thought out.
A moment I watched everything I thought would never find me.
Stare back at me and breathe life back into me.
Before I exhaled.
I retraced the step I took in mind and decided to give you the whole bag
Hoping you'd understand how much thought I put into giving you my heart
Without hesitation or pause, mindful that no matter what happens.
My heart will always be safe in your grasp
In the dusting of springtime squeeze
Sweet-scented of yesterday glees.
Recall of rose bloom and clear days,
Of mirth and warmth in many ways.
Meek breeze bears the whiff of ripe life,
Fresh beginnings and cease of strife.
The world rouse from its frost slumber,
Nature's grace is once more wonder.
The birds sing their sweet melodies,
As they build their nests in the trees.
Bees buzz around, grasping nectar,
Butterflies dance in quaint vectors.
Let's bask in the charm of the sun,
And hype blooms that ne'er strove nor spun.

Careering headlong through an era of his mind
he needs to revisit his vision of that time
forgetting life there could often be a grind,
careering headlong through an era of his mind
where folk would not comprehend some oh so blind
that criminals were not alone committing crime,
careering headlong through an era of his mind
he needs to revisit his vision of that time.

Firmly in her Grasp
Captivated by this beauty,
my heart held firmly in her grasp.
Sweet, just like a mango smoothie!
Captivated by this beauty
Superstar, I am her groupie
and I feel up to the task.
Captivated by this beauty,
my heart held firmly in her grasp.

icy fingers grasp --
golden leaves hanging in trees
sway softly in breeze
Caught in midwinter night’s grasp
My windfilled eyes brim with tears
But what are tears in the dark
When the snow
fills my heart
with the light
of dying

When trying to grasp thoughts through our mind’s haze,
It’s like trying to escape a thought maze.
As the bits and pieces accumulate,
How will they connect, how will they relate?
We try to relate them to things we know.
Each thought should be placed right where it should go.
So many topics to assimilate,
We constantly add and have to update.
Without clear focus they may lose their flow,
By first burning to bright then losing their glow.
Without definition, they will not last,
Some good ideas will drift to the past.
Give each thought it’s time, make sure it’s defined,
It will be its best when finely refined.

Soup and greens,beer and tea
buttlerfly young just love me,
aphid trap and liquid feed
ladybird heaven,yes indeed!
I love phosphate & nitrate soil
such versatility reduces toil,
my leaves quicken the compost
all this for free,at no cost!
Okay,okay,yes I sting
but for you its win,win,win!

Trying To Grasp The wind.
.
My hearts long for desiring
Mat never transpire to be
But dwells in within
The very deepest part of me
For what I want is like the sweetest tasty apple
Always there so close yet out of my reach
For I am hungry for love
And without the lavish feast
.
I often wonder what did I do wrong
My natural urges beyond my control
And so ever strong
To never see my first born
Look up and smile at me
Is like a dagger I feel so painfully
But never see
.
To never have a love so strong
As a loving sweetheart
Almost seems a sin
I’m trying to reach for the impossible
But foolishly
Trying to grasp the wind.

The stronger
the grasp,
the longer
the gasp.

The masked intruder burst through my front door.
While exiting a window, I heard pops.
He missed, but he pursued me as I fled.
Without my cell, I couldn’t call the cops.
Fear moved my legs; prayer led me to a place
to hide. From my safe vantage point I saw
him re-enter my house. He robbed me blind.
I wrote of this when feelings were still raw.
