Every Goliath Has a Stone

Die on your feet or live on your knees
Live as slave or die bold and free
Ringing that bell of liberty
Through thorns and thistles
Bomb blasts and war whistles
Floods of fire start to sprinkle and sizzle
Taking a stand or even walking alone
Every Goliath has a stone

Stumbling blocks turn into stepping stones
Conquering the crooked and dividing the spoils
Monsters of madness turned into blood and bones
Every Goliath has a stone

Facing our fears with a force called faith
Shooting the devil straight in his face
Mice turn into men and jokers get aced
Taking new lands with righteous revival
No time for rehearsals
No time for recitals
Victory is vital
Every heart should have a home
Every Goliath has a stone

The Legend of Goliath the Frog

Goliath the frog was gigantic in size,
often ridiculed out of despise.

He measured as high as six feet tall
and labeled the number one oddball.

But one day, at Frogville's annual event,
intruders stormed in with malicious intent.

"Yummy! Delicious frog legs," they said.
"Perfect for tonight's dinner spread!”

Goliath watched quietly from up on his log
as they began caging each and every frog.

Then suddenly he leaped with all his might,
straight into town to defend their rights.

"Set them free!" He croaked. "Or deal with me!"
"Our legs are for jumpin'; not for munchin'!"

Shocked at Goliath's enormous size,
the villains ran off with fear in their eyes.

All the Frogvillians cheered "HORRAY!
Thank you Goliath for saving the day."

Later, they gave him an award of distinction
for saving the frogs from extinction.

And although he is now dead and gone,
the legend of Goliath the frog still lives on!

Premium Member Super Goliath Grouper

A Jewfish known as Goliath Grouper,
At eight hundred pounds, mouth like a scooper!
   Quest of the Atlantic,
   Their mouth is gigantic!
A Goliath fillet, tastes quite super!

By reason of inquisitive nature,
The cause of them being a fair wager,
   Of fisherman’s spear,
   They have not a fear.
Of ocean fish they are one of major!

Young may be prodigious hermaphrodites,
Gender goes either way if-you-buy-it.
   On list, endangered species,
Will be shame if it ceases!
The Goliath Grouper, one nature’s sight!

Goliath, a boastful huge giant,

And David, a shepherd and pliant,

So he took a stone,

And crushed his head bone,

Then Israel roared like a lion.

He Will Rock You -The Story of David and Goliath To the Tune of Queen's We Will Rock You

Goliath was a giant tall and strong,
With him on your side it wasn’t too long,
Before the battle was done,
Your side had won,
It was well and truly over before it’d begun!

He will, he will rock you,
He will, he will rock you

David was a young boy small but brave,
Couldn’t fit in the armour the king had gave,
It wasn’t his thing,
So took up his sling,
Now listen to the Israelite army sing.

He will, he will rock you,
He will, he will rock you

Goliath was a stoned man, what a surprise,
That pebble had hit him right in the eyes,
Dave cut of his head,
The Giant was dead,
God was with the child just like he said!

He will, he will rock you,
He will, he will rock you

David Meets Goliath

And David slew Goliath
       The goliath of his cares
A little lad he was in stature
But a giant at heart he is
He steps up to mammoth trials
           His chest with armor bare
Knowing a thrust from this giant
Will through him run his spear
But the giant hearted young lad
Stepped up with lack of fear
He knows his God is with him
                     And naught can he destroy
                      So bravely go he faces
                       Old Goliath and his spear
                        And conquer he did conquer
As with empathy we show we care

Titan Goliath challenged young David to a floggin'

But David with his slingshot beaned him on the noggin!

Dave viewed the carcass and was heard to say, "Nothin' to it!"

His envious brethren said, "Yeah! 'Twas just a lucky hit!"

Goliath Grouper

Great
                       lipped fish
                 lurks in the deepest
blue. Rarely seen, I dive right in to take a look at
this magnificent beast. I hear he’s almost as big as me – YIKES!
Eerie silent of the ocean. Only thoughts are spoken.
        From nowhere the Great Goliath
                  Grouper appears with
                          a mane of
                           Sardines!

David and Goliath

There once was a voice that took flight,
I chased after prepared for a fight,
we fiddled with fickle
and stumbled a little
then scribbled with all of my might.

David and Goliath

The Israeli army was facing a giant
The whole philistine army on Goliath was reliant
Send one soldier to face me he was defiant
However no Israeli soldier was compliant

Then into the camp David came
He heard the giant's challenge and his fame
He saw the Israelites whimper away in shame
And the Spirit of God did David inflame

How dare this uncircumcised against God roar
David arose willing to wait no more
With a stone in a sling and his bag had four
He released the sling and let the stone soar

The stone struck the giant's forehead
Goliath fell down for he was dead
David drew the giant's sword and chopped off his head
In terror the philistines screamed and fled

The victory won because on God did David fully trust
And if God is your refuge and strength then victory is a must
All your enemy giants will crumble and fall to the dust
For God is almighty, all knowing, never leaves you and always just

David and Goliath

David and Goliath

When David heard Goliath bring
God’s name disgrace.
He wondered if any man would
challenge him, face to face.

All the men in Israel were scared,
and not this brave.
For if they lost, they’d be
the Philistines’ slave.

King Saul wondered if anyone
would challenge this man.
David accepted—knowing
this was God’s land.

With a small stone he
chose from a river bed,
He faced Goliath, with God placing
the stone into his head.

Perhaps there’s a GIANT in your
life that’s causing you fits.
Your trust must be in Jesus.
This--you must admit.

Lust, anger, pride—
whatever your giant might be.
Defeating this giant, with God’s help,
will bring you the victory!

Have you met Goliath Grouper
bigger than the huge state trooper

around when you were flying low?
That ticket cost you lots of dough.

In duel with fish of such a size,
he’d be the winner, you the prize.

Though mostly calm and quite benign,
you do not want one on your line.

Take warning divers, stay away,
don’t be a part of his buffet

like other big fish in the sea.
He'll think you are a delicacy.

..David & Goliath..

Do I turn to the side
Do I take it in stride
Do I lower my eyes
And, walk on by???
Some other time
Some other life....
Why am I wasting
What am I fighting for
These hopeless things
These hopeless dreams
What does it matter
What words I say
At the end of the day
It's always the same
Nothing has changed
Lying to myself
Under some spell
To ever believe
To even conceive
Such a hope
Such a Dream....
David and goliath
One spot, amid a galaxy
How lost could I be
To ever perceive
Such, a foolish thing
As to believe
I could ever
Walk on by.
When I look at their Souls
When I look at their lives....
Maybe their right
The countless whom doubt
That we'll ever make it out
Of these clouds???
No matter what I say
Things, will always be the same
Nothing will ever change
Your wasting your time
Searching inside
A world, that you'll never find....
These fantasies that you seek???
David and goliath
Laughing at me
These giants
These
Faithless that I see....
But, maybe their right
Do I turn to the side
Do I take it in stride
Do I lower my eyes
And, walk on by???
No! Not today
Not in this galaxy
Not, in this place....
When I look at their lives
Their Souls ~
The entire race
Satan be gone
Gone with your pain
Gone with your lies
And your chains
For no more doubt
Doubts, for some remain???
A spot, in a cloud
With a voice very loud....
David and goliath
At the end of this day
It is your darkness
That I Shall slay.
