David Meets Goliath

And David slew Goliath The goliath of his cares A little lad he was in stature But a giant at heart he is He steps up to mammoth trials His chest with armor bare Knowing a thrust from this giant Will through him run his spear But the giant hearted young lad Stepped up with lack of fear He knows his God is with him And naught can he destroy So bravely go he faces Old Goliath and his spear And conquer he did conquer As with empathy we show we care

First before I read it. The title made me lol! It was a piece all in it self. And images flood my mind. I'm almost certain the results of this match up will be quite the unexpected.

Oh well.I was thinking about another David. And how you would present him with your Golith through poetry. I think for you that would be quite the adventure.

Joy, this is inspirational as many, if not all of us, meet many Goliaths in our lives! I've come to learn that I can not do it on my own, so I've learned to lean on God. Thanks for sharing this, my Sis. Much love, Annalise

A very intelligent and well toned composition Joy - History is best utilized when construed allegorically, most practicable when applied to universal perspective that all have an opportunity to relate, or empathize with - a brilliant demonstration of how art can successfully unite ethics with History - J.A.B. %
