In the Madness of my Mind, I : Chatted with God
The Music of HIS voice reverberates through the canyon of a dead Soul
Questions, so many questions : “Speak my son“, He Said
Is reality Heaven, Is Life upon this Earth only a Dream
Insanity; touches me, as I roam through the hours of the Past
You may ask : WHY does the sickness of the mind affect the SOUL?
“ If YOU do not know MY “SON” : YOU do not Know “ ME “

“Empty , a Soul that only Once new LOVE , until “ BARBARA “
WHY?, WHY?, do I get the privilege of “ LOVING BARBARA “
‘ YOUR Blessing is Received “ as my mind, disputes “ REALITY”
“ May I see my LOVE : Lenore; before I run to the arms of “BARBARA”
I want to be LOVED, not necessarily; Physical or Sexual , “Just LOVED”
In a Heavenly Voice GOD sings to ME, whispers in my ear “ BELOVED “
“ If You do not LOVE MY, “SON” : YOU do not LOVE “ ME “

Love ; decayed, rotted away in a rancid pool of lost Emotions
Feelings : Dead and buried long ago; Scratch the surface of the Earth
Screaming in painful agony, crying the tears of the past “Set me Free”
The Earth is cold, damp, dirty ; I find Peace in the emptiness of Life
Death is a pleasure ; I can only Dream of in a nightmare of Forever
Madness deprives the Soul of consciousness , of reality, of ETERNITY
“If you do not seek MY “SON” : You do not SEEK “ ME “

Gnawing Resentment

He gnawed on his resentment
In public and alone
Like a dog he kept on worrying
The marrow from the bone
Till he gave himself an ulcer
Till his teeth got small and stumpy
Till other dogs said, Hang on, Fang
You’re starting to look grumpy
He wouldn’t leave the thing alone
Just wouldn’t let it lie
Time to put the bone down, Fido
Go on, try

Meet Otis; drug addict and alcoholic.
He walks the razor's edge of life daily.
A sad sack of a man bedeviled by stubborn demons.
Swimming against the tide of recovery; crying out for help.

                        Surviving one day at a time;
struggling with addictions threatening to submerge him in a quicksand,
wrestling with harrassing voices in his discombobulated head.

They keep swirling around him like a noisy, bothersome flies.
He's pulled into a rabbit hole of temptation
everywhere he goes. His gnawing urge...

to drink alcohol growing stronger and stronger at happy hours.
His addiction to cocaine and heroin is just as potent.
Each day, he tries his best
to stay sober, but can't do it alone.

His eyes still make me think of the sunrise
That color blue like sapphire
Hypnotizing my mind

He reminds me of kisses long and soft
tender caring in a heart
filling up my spirit

He makes me want to touch him once again
intimacy whispering
sensations thrive inside

Gnawing Hunger

Amidst the fields of plenteous
they sat in empty
with every meal starvation stalked

While on the land sunlight poured to copious
so to drink the rain they called it enemy
and famished hearts were born in every fruit

And so upon this grand abundance wrought
the very skeleton of their iniquity
the gnawing hunger of the populace

For now they harvest all to naught
and curse the earth for inadequacy
and plunder thirst for the sake of piteous

Amidst the fields of plenteous
they sit in empty
and every meal walked with gluttony

To paradise they crawled inglorious
to name their faith in fear of plenty
shall starve to death in mawkish lot

While on the land waters flow voluminous
so to drink the sun they called it enemy
and famished seeds are born in every fruit

Gnawing On My Mind

Writing,
throwing out compulsion,
licking the marrow from the bone,
watching the herd,
          looking for the weak,
waiting,
               minutes seem like years,
lasting torment
          so wanted,
                              so welcome.

Teeth gnashing
I tear a hunk of flesh
from the curr I am feasting on.
Unconsciously
                I smack my lips,
as I gnaw
                seditiously
    on the tasty morsel.
Using blood as ink
           I scribe senseless thoughts
on the walls and ceiling,
scoring rifts
that tear the fabric of time,
stopping the irksome pain
       pouring from this hole
                                    in my chest.

Fingering the edge
         I re minis
              of the fun it was
                             getting this,
definitely to be worn
    as a medal of honor.

Now that I am
              back to normal,
my quill flows freely,
      scarring the earth
beneath my heels.

I'll let this hole rot,
           fester,
                ooze,
gather infection
     that i can spread
at my own whim,
locking the world in my grasp,
         turning it
             a beautiful grey,
cascading across the environment
   like a mist.

A Gnawing Temptation

my trembling fingers reaching outwardly
through the umbrage of shadows
longing to feel your touch

my heart quickens beneath forbidden thoughts
as i thrust myself forward
in the pulse of my dreams

the quaver of my lips part in silence
to the kiss of temptation
appetence unfulfilled

If Husband His Nails Gnawing Like Rabbit,

If husband his nails gnawing like rabbit,
I show the way to quit nasty habit.
No point to treat poor husband with scoff
Just rip off his teeth, or nails his rip off !

Gnawing Worms

Bags under the eyes
And all around, bleeding black
Scorned and scratched to receive the light
A light slipping from sore grasps
Fingertips burning, pressing hard
Noise furrowing and echoing the pupils
Gnashing, swallowing, laboring
Pushing the dead, fetid fetus out
Slamming on the notes now
The black bags ever sink
Mind refuses to positively think
And rather catastrophically wired
To the ever-slipping fires
Betrothed to your liking
Tentacles and tantalizing suns
Spurring the vision, bleeding incisions
Opening to the bloody scene of darkness
Hearing it croaking
The dead fetus soaking
Liquidated larvae squealing with glee
Little black dot of its head or bottom
Squirming inside to taste the bitter slime
It is out but still warm
The tears are dried by the breezes of disappointment
The little worms in folding enjoyment

Losing a little one
Gains so much
Real-eases so little
And internally, eternally

		Gnaws

Moles Are Gnawing Ahead

sinister sappers,
gut cornerstones unnoticed,
then swagger at large.

Premium Member A Sycamore's Demise

I am one of the oldest trees around.
My roots grow aggressively and deep in the ground.
I am a sycamore, most regal and proud.
My branches so high I can touch a cloud.
I'm usually found near wetlands and streams.
My thirst is unquenchable, or so it may seem.
I've weathered many seasons, endured the test of time,
but recently my roots grew into your sewer lines.
I witnessed the crane pulling up on our street, now bringing me down
will be a true feat.
I'm now shackled in ropes which I find quite appalling,
the whining chain saws, my branches now gnawing.
The solemn neighbors gather in the side yard.
My trunk succumbs and hits the ground hard.
My aging stump is all I'll convey as my decimators
climb in their trucks and drive away.

Premium Member On Edge

I woke up this morning
Enveloped by overwhelming feeling

Of being left behind
In a jungle of calamities

Which my father land has become
Dehydrated of every positive mood

Which gives way to the gnawing feelings
Of emptiness of unquantifiable loss

This nightmare refuses to go away
Rather it continues to concretize

The feelings of disillusionment
As strange happenings keep assaulting our sensibilities

Truth stands on its head
And sets no one free

Rather it pushes us down the road of
Perpetual loss of whatever makes us human
