Midst fielded bloom

Soft pastel skies, horizon’s shade
So cool the breeze on flowing hair
With skin of whispered poet’s phrase
Now dreaming of a heart to share

Alone you stand midst fielded bloom
Beneath the wing of windswept dove
As fragrant as this rose I send
Delivered with undying love
