To See Eye To Eye

In blindness there is no peace

I walked in blindness
Upon the earth in darkness
For I only served myself.

I walked in ignorance
Upon the road of arrogance
And I never saw your stance.

I walked in judgment
Upon the law of confinement
But I never saw your detriment.

I walked in doubt
Upon a land in constant drought
Longing for a water spout.

I walked in fear
Upon a path quite unclear
That brought me to my knees.

I opened my eyes to see
Upon a wish to make a plea
And I saw your eyes full of tears.

I opened my eyes to read
Upon the look of an anguished sea
And I understood your story.

I opened my eyes to stand
Upon the will to hold your hand
And found we can both mend.

I opened my eyes to learn
Upon the light of knowledge earned
That a friend gained is a priceless return.

I walked into your path
Upon the hand of destiny’ s cast
And I entered the garden at last.

We walked into divine light
Upon which our heart soars high
Now we can see eye to eye.

Eye To Eye

there is a fellow named saul
who loves to play basketball
can run shoot and pass
always scores so fast
and only stands three foot tall

saul lives in the tallest tree
high as a person can be
not afraid of height
sees the stars at night
a life so happy and free

saul loves a fancy lassie
beautiful long and classy
no matter to them
she stands six foot ten
they see eye to eye you see

They Smiled Eye To Eye

THEY SMILED EYE TO EYE

                                         They smiled eye to eye
As if they met a millennium after
                                      Strolling down into the valley

                                             They were silent
                                       Touching each other's arm
                                         Quiet flowed the breeze

They saw their images in the blue lake
Shy moon slipped behind the curtain of mist
                                      Little ripples met each other

Their steps heard the whisper of wind
                                       And stopped short to listen
What she said to the world

The road met with rambling forest paths
                                       They stopped near a grove
                                     And kissed each other goodbye
A baby bird cried out in dream.

Eye-To-Eye

Eye-to-Eye

Tormented air hangs thick, blinking as the sun clears the clouds.
Bird unseen calls out, taking flight, running like I feel.
Friends are dead and dying, smoke drifts over the covered.
Looking down eye-to-eye, you in black me in green.
Another day for me to live - none for you.

Happy, sad, glad, wanting to cry, forgotten how.
Pull on a Winston, flick the ash and cough it back.
Blinded eyes by smoke and you pass, feeling lucky to be alive.
Kick the dirt, wonder why, learn to live another day.
Breathe easy, asking God for you and me.

Turn to look around, seeing the waste of war a cause unknown.
Hard at heart, seeing all and seeing nothing to care for.
Hear my heart, feel my chest rise and fall, but nothing to care for.
One last drag and hold till the pain rises and release.
Flick the butt of away one last look down not seeing you seeing not.

Smell the sweat, the oil, the residue of gunshot.
A cry far off, like an echo in the night – What I say! Who is there answer me!
Again the cry, I look round desperate to see – Where are you?
Frightful the cry calls out – frightfully I search, finding no one and nothing.
Like the dawn of a new day, the cry is from within and I answer – I am here! I am alive!

There's a stare down at the brook, eye to eye
Tiger roared, "MOVE." Donkey did not comply
One hee-haw from the ass
The Bengal let him pass
And kept on running til he reached Mumbai

Premium Member We Might Not Always See Eye-To-Eye

We might not always
See eye-to-eye,
We might not always agree,
But that won’t stop me
From loving you,
And hopefully –
Won’t stop you
From loving me …

Premium Member Accosting Eye To Eye

On a dive to wreck of good ship "Soul"
I noticed a door locked tight.
Over I swam to peer inside a keyhole
Expecting it be blocked up tight.

In shock I pulled eye back in awe.
For I saw an eye in hole
Staring right back at me through door
Eye to eye, delving within, soul to soul.

I looked again; alien eye had move well away.
As I stared the eye returned
On head of blue-ringed octopus it lay.
A human eye on Cephalopod head adorned.

The shock recalled a memory long lost
Of a lover's deeply piercing eyes
Always there poised to engage, accost
With suckered arms through keyhole poised for pries.

Eye To Eye

The stars in the midnight sky never fail to shine so bright
Gazing in the beauty of the night… lost in thought
The breeze of majestic wonders swept over us tonight

She said, “I want to kill myself”
Think of your daughter…
You’ll be missing out on so many great accomplishments
Don’t say, “Whatever…”
I feel this urge to tell you that everything will be alright to crush that depression
God will show you the true direction

Taking a giant leap of faith, we pressed forward, conquering all doubts – free will living to by the grace from above
Mesmerizing delight is enveloped in your eyes of emerald forests
Trying my best to look the other way, but your shine combines with mine

She said, “I’m tired of waiting”
Think of being more patient
You’ll get to walk with us sooner or later
I need to wear my sweater
I feel this bottomless, bitter guilt, coursing inside of me
If only I could be your key
To unlock eternal bliss…
And scorch away your hopelessness

Flashes of your greatest unmask the veil that held my eyes shut
The glory from within outshines the stars
Your heart is heavy with grief suddenly...

I’m walking up the stairs,
Thinking that no one cares
If I run away and never be found,
Paradise would be far from my reach
God’s love is what I beseech
Let go of me, pity and grief…
Do me a favor and marry relief

Relief blankets your body...you're recovering right before my very eyes
Do me a favor and sift out the lies and goodbyes
For once, we now see eye to eye

Premium Member Eye To Eye Seeing Perceiving

Eye to eye, pupil to pupil searing stare too confronting,
so you look down or to the side,
watching with peripheral vision.
You glance for signs of weakness
when the eyes looking at you, stray and look away.
Then it is safe to refocus,
to beam your gaze back to try eye to eye,
Taking control as you have the eye on eye authority.
Testing for connection when eye focus switched back, pupol to puil.
When averted eyes switch back
straight in the eye, try for mutual gaze again.
Who will cop out first, you or I?
Will we engage and flirt?
Will we connect and share our trust,
transmitting and receiving
just with the eyes,
so powerful and revealing?

Perceiving eye to eye intently, implies agreement
The eyes have it.
When I spy your eye looking at me
and the gaze lasts longer than a glance,
The communication starts
when eyes have engaged, and hooked us up,
Eye to eye, aye aye it is.

Your eyes are the most potent social signalers you possess.
Lovers spend hours and hours, staring deeply into each other’s eyes
It is a display of trust and yearning,
and shared reinforcement of connection.
What flows between is a mystery, but it is real.
It is to see, and to be seen, seeing deep within.
“Look into my eyes” says the hypnotist as a way of taking control.
Magicians also rely on engaging eye to eye contact
so you cannot see the sleight of hand.
Controlling eyes, engaging eyes,
meeting eyes is mindful perception
of how eyes are so important for our being,
and how we communicate socially.

Eye To Eye Sex

i was on the train
i could my sex rain
i looked around
it was a stare down
it was a fact eye to eye contact
we both got so wet
it was
EYE TO EYE SEX

Eye To Eye

Eye to eye with
innocence,
I kneel before the
fawn
That cannot feel the
breath
I hold in reverence
For her soul.
Nevertheless, I
yearned
To see each molecule
Of wilderness
Slain between us.

Her stillness I have
learned
Is a monument of
grace.
The turning of her
head
To mine, a
wonderment,
A painting,
Framed by barren
branches,
Fingers wrapped in
snow
Spelling hunger
For this moment.

Now caught in this
thin place
By gentleness, I’m
taught
To wait until our
eyes
Unlock, since we are
strangers.
   I belong
To another race,
much wilder:
We spit out death by
fire.
Yet she bruised
My brutish soul.

Eye To Eye

he says he loves her
but she pulls away
and wants to explain
just doesn't know how
thoughts running through her head
so she chooses to show him
eye to eye
hand to hand
she shows her meaning
her heart
still beating...
she is....
immortal

Eye To Eye

Eye to eye
Thoughts were expressed within
Eye to eye
Many imprompto words expressed
Like a warm water pressed
Beneath the sea
Stretch the conversation tea
And found a disaster
Within the eye faster
Age was the barrier
Orr a thought was the warrior
But like a mirror
Its peirced the eye err
Like red blood appears
And real idea dissapears!!!!!!

Eye To Eye As Hearts Do Rise

Eye to eye as hearts do rise
Lips to lips as souls cries
Hands to hands as they turn
Leg to leg as it does burn
Voice to voice as it leaves a stir
Ear to ear as you love her
