Best Extractions Poems
A good dentist is hard to find
the treatments ok
it's the paying I mind.
The background music
makes me relax,
fillings, extractions
you just have the knack.
I'm glad that I don't need
to come back for a while,
And I'd just like to thank you
for giving back my smile.

Verse
I went to see my dentist today
She works out of her house
It’s a one-chair operation
With hardwood floors
An old dog lies on a rug
Next to the chair
He’s seen it all
Root canals, molar extractions…
He seems so calm
I wonder if she ever works on his teeth
The old gummer
Sit’s and grins
He knows it’s better you than him
Sitting in that chair
I bet sometimes at night
He gets up in the chair
When all is quiet
And practices his grimace
Locking his paws into seat
Rinse and spit
And then grins again
What a life
A dog with a dentist
For a friend
I am not so sure I envy him

Burning bodies, staring eyes.
Smoking chimneys, human cries.
Gas chambers for Jews to die.
Frozen corpses piled up high.
Electric wires inflicting pain.
Mass starvation, inhumane.
Old aged people, mental cases
Skin and bone with human faces.
Amputations, detrimental.
Unethical, experimental.
Too weak to stand, debilitated.
Left to die, emaciated.
Open graves deceased or not
Decomposing humans left to rot.
Undignified but freedoms there.
The stench of death was everywhere
Dentists practicing extractions
Gold fillings became distractions.
Unfed, unclothed, discrimination.
The master plan, extermination.
Eradication of a race.
Genocide, mankinds disgrace.
The Nazi party pursued their aim.
As the world averted eyes in shame.

Funny thought.... chiwuawa bites a man's boot without said man knowing the dog was even there....dog ends up with doggie dentures....the owner sues said man for cruelty to animals....case denied when his boot was put on display with teeth still embedded in the bite marks....evidence shows that the dog was suffering from gum disease. The judge ruled that the owner of the boot could collect fees for tooth extractions!!

Light Verse
Extractions are cheaper than fillings
But the dentist went mad with the drillings
So alas and alack
And a bucket of plaque
It cost me two quid; forty shillings!

Free verse
Don't go to a dentist, you can have your rotten teeth removed for free.
All you have to do is find and cuss out Mr. T.
He knocked out all of my teeth with only one punch.
But now I'm starving, I can't even eat my lunch.
Call Mr. T a sissy and you won't have to live with toothaches anymore.
He'll remove them for free but dentures are something you'll have to pay for.
Dentures cost five hundred bucks, it's a situation that makes me brood.
Until we can pay that amount, you and I will have to eat baby food.
(This is a fictional poem.)

Economic messages,

come from diverse secularized capital media,

Similarly,
ecological messages,

and toxic demons,
are read in diverse media climates

of soil health and pathology,
of wind power and superpowers of hurricanes,
of fire restoring warmth
but also extractively devouring,
therapeutic restorations
and punishing retributions through over-extractive imbalance.

Political Verse
YOUR LOVE.
Your love was not a love
But just an entrapment
Which under urges for
Multiplication of humanity
You involuntary scribed to
Set up for elopements in
Some mundane lores of sanity.
Like a flying nocturne insect
Caught in flowery sickness
On your facial prettiness
The curse of sensuality
Form roundness of your limbs
The daily game of extractions
To enrich your mortal bones
Ease of mind but crude of tones.

Lyric
Hours I could spend
Listening to your faint whispers
Arouse within me, my passions
The purity of soul you draw from my lips
Ever the tender extractions
Gently you pull my sighs
Kept hiding deep inside
Mine heart pounding and crashing
Like full moon tides rising
Caressing the sandy dunes
Your susurrations ignite pyres
The flames licking the roof of my mouth
Fulfilling my excitations
Fervor riding atop those glances you give
When delicate words meet
Eyes aflame with desire
The marriage of the two
Setting my body in the grasp of ecstasy
Oh! You know what you do
Pulling me into the passion of you
Just bury there with thy body
For it’s ever, me and you
Belonging in your story
The book scrawled for all present time
Our heaven inscribed across our hearts
Forevermore I belong to you.

Romanticism
Solvent light diminishes metaphorical seconds,
wiping them with a blur–a stroke–a motion,
challenging the wings of emotion to pulse and live,
To etch and carve something in a flight of furor,
in a whirlwind haze of hapless thoughts in apropos.
A sound made in arresting touches of flesh on plastic
and in the vestige of fifty-five words per minute
I listen to the swift, cool rush of bodiless thoughts;
formed, reformed; given unto the cerulean glow,
like an offering of the internal to the exponential.
Ripped from juxtaposition and highlighted in blue,
a shadow morphs into absently coruscated fog,
crystalized in the act of inciting jubilant ruminations.
A cackle amidst a gaggle of jabbering voices,
and jovial extractions alight succulent glows of nascence.
He is born.
My twin sired with the conscious decision to smile whilst I type
and in the glow, he is pressed–animated–on the wall,
like a moving hypothesis for the enigmatic muse.
Dancing like figments in the light of imagination,
he sits as I do; enfolded in the cerulean glow that refreshes and renews.

Hendecasyllabic Alliterative Pseudo-rhyming Abecedarian
Artfully arranging all attestations
Breathlessly bringing bright beautifications
Carefully constructing clever contraptions
Daringly, dauntingly delving deductions
Eagerly, easily ending extractions
Fancifully forming flirtatious factions
Gustily grasping gigantic gradations
Hazily having harsh hallucinations
Instantly inking imagined infractions
Jarringly journaling jacked judications
Kindly knuckling known keratinizations
Lightheartedly launching lame litigations
Misguidedly making mean machinations
Noticeably needing noninterventions
Obnoxiously outing odd operations
Pensively perusing past permutations
Questioning queerly quixotic quotations
Relentlessly razing rare restorations
Sneeringly slinging snarky salutations
Thoughtfully triggering true transformations
Unduly uttering Ute ululations
Vibrantly voicing verve versifications
Willingly working warm winterizations
Xenophobes x-ing xenotransplantations
Youthfully yearning yak yarnifications,
Zany, zesty zebra zombifications

Alliteration
Don't shoot unless you mean to kill;
Don't push a boulder up a hill;
Don't show your hand or break your face;
Each word has its time and place;
Give until they have their due;
Compared to blessings, pains are few;
Welcome with an open heart;
Fulfill your role and play your part;
There is always more turf to roam;
Daily one must brush and comb;
Sugar's no secret to the ants;
The sun rises on another chance;
The sooner one sleeps, the sooner one wakes;
Character is held in the handshake;
No man on earth can build a tree;
When the eyes are closed, one cannot see;
Life can be long, life can be short;
One might regret a rash retort;
The rake's as useful as the man;
One should help others whenever one can;
With strangers have an unaffected mood;
At once, express your gratitude;
Our souls but dwell in flesh and bones;
At no one's house throw any stones;
Everyone is dumb at something;
Both ways the pendulum shall swing;
Joy can be carried across the earth;
Every shortfall has its own worth;
Who never climbed can likewise fall;
The bird is known by its tone and call;
The prudent have a harnessed tongue;
The rag that's wet has not been wrung;
What you put in, you get it back;
There is nothing the greatful lack;
A person wears the shoes that fit;
Speakers of lies fall in their pit;
Feathers fall from beating wings;
Unknown is what patience brings;
One can be blindied by the light;
Do not provoke to start a fight;
There always is more work to do;
One cannot name what one never knew;
One can't recall what has been thrown;
One reaps the fruit of what's been sown;
Water is the dearest drink;
A body's free because it can think;
The sweetest is the darkest plumb
and the best is yet to come!

This morning, teacher said this week:
"We'll syntax Shakespeare used critique.
We'll cogitate and cursive write
And elements and odes recite.
We'll nuclei and despots learn.
To Babylon and Ur return.
We'll corollary facts deduce
And calculate hypotenuse."
At practice, coach explained his way
Of basketball our team will play:
With box-and-one and trapping press
And low post screens we'll have success.
Our give-and go will stretch the door
And back door cuts from picks should score.
Our weave will freeze their match-up zone,
And Kevin, put away your phone."
Then later in a chair I lay,
Prepared my dentist to obey.
"Extractions must ensue, my boy.
But nitrous oxide you'll enjoy.
Occlusions and abrasion wear
We'll mend with orthodontics care.
Of gingivitis, there's no sign,
And EMG's are looking fine."
Except for phone, I cannot say
I understood a word all day.
