Premium Member Eternal Life and the Total Self

Life is but a fleeting whisper echoing through time,
never dying, always being- magnificent and sublime.
The body's a receptacle, a superficial shell,
but in it dwells the gift of Soul; eternity knows it well.

The Soul contains the truths of life,
to all that's ever been;
to all things now, and yet to come,
but guards them deep within.

The mind has hidden doors to Soul; we long to find the key,
unleash the vision waiting there, that lives eternally.
And so mind seeks to open wide, grasp firm the light of Soul.
and at that moment when it does, we know we will be whole.

So when we penetrate the shield
that stands between these two,
we will perceive with inner sight-
our Soul, complete and new.

If in this life, we cannot grasp this bond of Soul and mind,
we'll be reborn to live again, till total self we find.
We've been before, so many times; we've known many a past.
We'll be again- an echo in time, till mind and Soul are fast.

And when that final day does come,
at last to lift our Soul,
for Him to gather in His arms-
our perfect self- now whole.

Some religions, like Hinduism, believe in reincarnation which refines the soul by it living many lifetimes, and after it is perfected, goes back to God. My poem is based on that belief. So many people, including myself, have inner feelings or momentary flashbacks like they have lived before in another life.

Premium Member Love's Alchemy Is Eternal

Love’s Alchemy is Eternal

Your look, touch, and scent now so perfect pure,
Enchants my true emotions and soaring passion.
I knoweth now our love shall always endure,
As God unites our souls as one by divine action!

Our sensual passion defines love’s spirit entire,
As we caress and kiss for this moment’s bliss.
Love’s alchemy maketh our spirits soar afire,
As we embrace our lips find that deepest kiss!

Our hearts beat now in a sacred tempo of love,
That reflects our real destiny, two souls as one.
This is God’s gift to us from Heaven high above,
As we wish these magic moments of eternal fun!

By Heaven, I pray our love’s alchemy forever,
And declareth my love shan’t leave you ever!

Premium Member Our Love Is Eternal

Our soul's luminous light filters the depth of darkness
shining like a woven thread into the stillness of time
It was there where we met, in a universe long forgotten
where we merged wrapped in the twilight of breaking dawn

We've known love in worlds that have passed
before we cried out for a new birth
where our spirits rolled like thunder
needing to be heard

You are the emptiness I feel
until we meet...in every journey
when we cross the arc of time once again

                Somewhere
        when our lips finally meet
and the rush of this new world stops
It's there trapped in the fragrance
        Love will be forever warm

To drift in a dream, where our hearts flutter
and love's face glows, in all its colors

To float away with life's night
where our souls capture love's fire
holding its flame gently

To feel the velvet petals of passion's flower
where the fragrance wafts from blooms
caressing our yearnings with the sweet scent
of intoxication

As our hearts merge in glorious freedom
leaving this world without a care
slowing the flight of hummingbirds
when we whisper a symphony of desire
heard by welcome ears
until the beautiful dawn splays ever soft
across sensual eyes of love
leaving us standing over the graves of our hearts
as we await another life, in another place and time
for our love is eternal and we will meet again

Premium Member Love's Eternal Death

The hollow eyes of love are never gone
They keep within the waves of trembled tears
From days so poor when love was looked upon
And one where the deepest pain adheres
They give my eyes of love, a sad refrain
To think that love would ever be so cruel
I found it's an illusion, self-contained
When love so grand became so minuscule
To hold love in the dreamer's mind, I've flown
And found the point of rest, its final breath
To know I will forever be alone
Cry now as then for its eternal death
I found a love to hold and saw it die
Inside the depths of dark pain, I ask why

Premium Member Day My Eternal Friend

Day, my lifelong friend
Thousands of times have we said good morning to each other and
As many times have, we said goodnight,
You have awakened me up with the caresses of the sun’s rays and put me
To sleep with the lullabies of sunset’s myriad hues.
Many a time, you were calm as a harbor's waters, and others you were
Turbulent as the stormy sea,
But
I loved you the same, so we inseparable have remained.

How many times have I waited for your coming, you will never know.
Neither will you know how much I have prayed to see you faster go
When so unkind you were to me,
However,
You kept your pace unchanged, obeying only the will of mighty time.

All these years you have brought to me:
Joys and sorrows,
Laughter and tears,
Successes and failures
Health and sickness
Life and death.

You were the best of my friends and the worst of my enemies but
United, side by side, we stood. How could it be otherwise when we
Both wished our destiny to fulfill?

Now, my eternal friend, the circle of my life is almost complete.
The days for me are numbered.
How many more times are we going to salute each other is unknown to all but to God,
So
Before we say our final goodnight, let me thank you for every sunrise and every sunset,
For all the sunshine and all the storms you have brought to my life
For
Without them, an empty vessel, without any experiences would have been,
Useless to everybody and worthless to myself
Thus
When tomorrow you, my wise friend, come and unable you will be, me to awake,
Be not disturbed
Since
Another dawn, brighter than yours, will have taken me into its arms to
Console me with her everlastingly divine love!

Premium Member My Eternal Ocean

My sails are trimmed, prepared for our adventure,
I have gazed longingly at the surface of you
Beautiful beyond my comprehension
Your rhythmic calmness relaxes me
I am hypnotized by your serenity
My desire is to discover the depths of you

My bow stretches to your horizon
Still I cannot experience all of you
I float innocently upon your waves
Refreshed by your cool waters
In an instant you change
Encompassing me, crashing against me
Yet I do not wish to escape

My ocean, I trust you with my very soul
As I sink beneath your surface
I am wrapped in your eternal embrace
Colour surrounds me, my being is infused with your joy
The feeling of weightlessness, as we are joined
You are the beginning and completion of me
I was not formed to merely float along your shores.

Eternal Love

Come, dear Krishna!
Fall in love with my love for you.
When my honey- filled glance dips your unsurpassed beauty, fall in love with my eyes.
Fall in love with my imperishable ardour for you.
When my feet dance to the tunes of your flute, fall in love with the music of my anklets.

You are the colossal cosmos and I'm an infinitesimal splinter
You are the sweetness in a mellowed fruit and I'm the wrinkle on a withered flower.
You are the dream of every soul and I'm a forsaken lonely petal
But, oh darling! when you assimilate me into you, we become one.

Melt in the music of my longing for you
Fill the flute of my desolate heart with your benign breath
Kindle my lame soul with the shimmer of your smile
Let's sing, let's swing and let's dissolve in this darkness tonight.

Premium Member Eternal Cocoon

Life is a beautiful liar,
where hope is a
graveyard of caterpillars.
Death is an ugly truth,
where virgin butterflies
flutter immortally.

Love is the only true guide.

Oh my beloved,
when you hid behind
a veil of metaphors,
I wrote your name in the sand,
with simple words,
watched as the tide
carried each letter to your shore,
so you could build a
sandcastle for my homeless heart.
Then you appeared,
enchanting and exotic,
like the scent of a summer night
under clear blue skies.

I recall the day we met,
confused and bemused.
You used to tell me there
was no such thing as forever,
until your words bled
like a mistress of poetry.

My hands were tired from
scribbling meaningless musings,
until I fell in love with a poet -
you gave them a purpose.

My muse, who once punished me
with tormenting silence,
now beat against my heart to
justify the majesty of your vision -
ink like waterfalls began to flow
upon rivers of romantic verses.

As the world sleeps tonight,
I'm tired from
watching airplanes take off,
as satanic seas keep us apart.
My heart reminds me of
denied treasure,
but my soul believes
it will kiss such riches soon.

As we create our own cocoon,
where devotion flourishes
into an eternal union.

Premium Member To Bleed Love Eternal - Collaboration with Justin Bordner

I wear the flame of your name,
traced in jaguar herbs
between pearl blades of angels,
pulling in the heat of your wildfire...

My soul branded with a burning love feather
molten madness stroking the light rebellious,
Your identity a touch of kissing curves,
I am mantled with a cloak of star rain...

Addicted, engrossed,
as my silhouette aches to be drenched
in rivers of your rushing rhymes,
breathing nothing but the dream
of being chained
to the footprints of your soul...

Tethered to the stride of my soul
heartbeat warmly pained,
You follow with yielding scream
my attention on your pulsing eyes,
I spread open the vellum
of poetry achingly inked,
scent of rose melting frost...

I've witnessed them christen
my night as lethal,
their prayers painting me as sin,
while I entomb their accusations
in a blood stained envelope,
laid to rest in a casket of poisoned lilies,
for I am no longer their Lilith
crowned with silken serpents,
jeweled in jinxed jasmines,
I am the rose gold rays of sunrise,
wrapping you in blushing silence...

But if love were your ink,
   what would you bleed?

Within your bloom there is a violet innocence,
weaponized once for ritual license
a jewelry box of black magic temptations,
Tiara of bloodstones broken for love repentance,
A Goddess become Woman trueth,
the coffin become catalyst to living tears,
elegant gown now simple linen of lilac hope,
reputation now means nothing before heart's divinations,
You are no harpy, you are my revelation,
You are love beautiful,
the reason for my passion crystal...

Premium Member Eternal Memories

Life without you seems so surreal, so unfair that you are no longer here,
yet I still feel your strong presence, smiling while shedding a tear.
Although you've gone, so many memories reflect through my mind,
in times of trouble, you were always there, treating me so kind.

The amazing times we shared, forever live within my heart.
Physically we are not together, but mentally we are never apart.
Constant reminders of your unique fragrance still linger in the air,
especially in your closet, still full of clothes you loved to wear.

Ringing of your unique and contagious laughter still rings within my ears,
I know many more recollections like these will last a zillion years.
A white dove visits often, reminding me of your angelic grace,
every time I look into the mirror, I see your beautiful face.

Thank you for being my guardian angel, for showing signs that you're around.
Until we meet again my dearest, my love for you will continue to abound.
In days or sorrow, you always soothed with words of sincerity.
Even after death our special bond will remain for eternity.

Eternal Bonds

Apricity sustains us through the cold
As our aging bones recall days of youth,
Where sweet treasures of the heart still unfold
A mode of love that deepens with the truth
That like a long lived tree whose roots run deep
Our years together strengthen our resolve
To weather storms together as we keep
Our bond of love continues to evolve.
Beauty reigns in eyes of the beholder.
Though years have changed our physicality,
Our pace is slower as we've grown older,
Yet in youth we remain, eternally.
Your aura shines so much brighter with mine
Because we have a love that is divine.

Premium Member In Her Eternal Sleep

The river flows, carrying her
Away from earth out to somewhere---
Bird-music groans as harsh wind blows-
Carrying her, the river flows.

The gulls above cry ,that for now
My fingers shake like leaf to bough,
Beneath the melancholy sky
That for now. the gulls above cry.

This eternal sleep, when nights grow blind
I long for all that's warm and kind…
Thirsty for life, Mom's mine to keep
Nights grow blind... this eternal sleep.

Defying death, tears on the brink
I may collapse, or faint and sink.
To struggle on with every breath-
Tears on the brink, defying death.

Beautiful is she, moonglows end
Upon my faith these thoughts depend--
On braving time though I foresee
Moonglows end, beautiful is she.

The Eternal Rose

The rosebud blooms...begins its earthly ride
through life; with sun and rain it must contend.
          And day by day, its petals open wide;
all stages lead to fullness in the end.

When cold winds make it wither in the Fall,
as life and death, their endless duet sing,
the petals drop. It then awaits the call
of life awakened with the coming Spring.

The tireless earth holds promise for new fruit,
though signs of death are surely there to see.
The rose leans on the spirit of its root
to make it bloom when Winter sets it free.

The seasons of all things hold much in store...
for life brings death which brings new life once more.
