Premium Member My God, Thank You For Exposing My Error

September 24 Scripture Meditations Based on Mark 11-12

Key Verse– Mark 12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God?

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR EXPOSING MY ERROR

Thank You for exposing my error of showy spirituality
By Your revealing sovereignty
To prove me toward tested Christianity
Midst pretenses along beliefs’ uncertainty.

Thank You for exposing my error of deceptive relationship
By Your converting leadership
To turn me toward faithful stewardship
Midst prayerlessness along worldliness’ friendship.

Thank You for exposing my error of impure motives
By Your sanctifying directives
To straighten me toward holy prerogatives
Midst poverty along discontentment’s alternatives.

Thank You for exposing my error of shallow devotion
By Your empowering salvation
To transform me toward genuine dedication
Midst preferences along doubts’ confusion.

Thank You for exposing my error of subtle hypocrisy
By Your enlightening mercy
To illumine me toward sincere fervency
Midst pride along complacency’s deficiency.

Thank You for exposing my error of worthless engagements
By Your fulfilling involvements
To lead me toward heavenly investments
Midst persistency along commitment’s agreements.

Thank You for exposing my error of selfish interests
By Your faith strengthening bests
To uphold me toward good work-harvests
Midst persecutions along priorities’ tests.

Premium Member I Am, Error

Love should only ever kindle the present and the future. Not the past…

Primarily, I am second.

For I have placed others on similar platforms
Made of charred cedar and revamped memories

Unintentionally

It is not intent that we embrace, but the end result.

Good, brief.
Bad, seared.

Branded

I hang my smile on half-mast remembrance,
The elaborate touch of yesterday’s smile

Forgotten

And days go by
Where cryptic anger holds me dear
Because my identity becomes nothing more
Than a discarded 140 characters

Yet, this handsome error
Will still smile through the equally equivocal flaws
Of others

We are a marathon running on seismographic parallels.

Faults, unbecoming
Faults, embedded
One-sided
Expiration, denied
The pricelessness of my heart, cost overridden

Perhaps it has become the only option
To keep love’s punishment, subdued

While songs of psychic animosities,
Lay judgment on unawareness’ smile

It is not easy to reach wanton goals,
While attempts to (mind) read incoming ruptures
Incorporate 50% success rate

We stumbled when we ran yesterday.
We will stumble when we walk today.
We shall stumble upon the sunrise & sunset of tomorrow.

Why couldn’t you just hold my hand when we fall?

…

I am, Error.

One day, I will become a candle in the wind
Extinguished

Will the winds upon angel’s wing
Be guided by those same smiles
Tossed into amnesia’s similar gust

Premium Member Being Human

In my mind
Where silent thoughts
Reveal the truth, the depths
Of my hopes, dreams and feelings…
There is a piercing voice
One who announces my flaws
The faults which remind me that
I am human and humans err
Sometimes badly
Other times, sadly
And still other times, madly
I am a human and I stumble
Both within and outwardly
With mistakes and faults that feel
Like they may just penetrate
The very soul with their heartless
Vicious influence on my spirit

In my heart
Where emotions breathe compassion
And light illuminates wisdom
Giving grace to the sincerity
Of a faith that is more alive
Than the blood in my veins
In my heart

There are a million second chances
New thoughts and new directions
Opportunities for advancement
Assurance that I am someone
Who is like a light in the darkness
Spreading joy and rays of hope
Kindness that is flavored with thoughts
That bring calm to the chaotic
Enlightenment into sorrow and despair
Elation to the music and bliss to the song
Whispers of enthusiasm that dance
Through the heart’s shadows in silhouettes
Of pure wonder, pure pleasure, pure delight

In the depths of my soul
I can always know that this conscience of mine
Is alive with potential and vision
Warming the way toward God’s heaven
With a mountain of little lessons that tell me
I have learned, I have grown, I have become
A warrior in this weary old world
Where my heart, mind and soul always know
As I walk down this path of courage
Inviting my dreams to listen to the sound
Of a million trees coloring the wind
In hues of optimism, faith that sustains
And second chances to be who I am
When I listen to my conscious and my faith
Telling me to always do my very best
Reach out with an honest desire to be
The one God has breathed into me
The soul who only needs to hear with a heart
Who walks by the river of hope, faith and love
Bringing insight into the spirit kissed by God

Premium Member We Learn From Trial and Error

Fixing our own mistakes can be quite a vexatious trial
Laughing at our errors often brings us a humorous smile
Asking others for assistance is not a sign of weakness
What it shows is a humble nature known as meekness

Because of our human imperfection we get things wrong
That doesn't mean our resolve and patience is not strong
Seek to find the solutions you may have known all along
It just takes some trial and error to go that extra furlong

Procrastination is not the answer, for it will only prolong
finding explanations for problems that gather in a throng
Get to it! It's as simple as stabbing meat on a fork prong
You will be elated with your life and singing a new song

Don't digress. Be determined to dissuade dense denial
Upon a first reflection, no human achieves perfection
Even following direction, we still need some correction
Fixing our own mistakes can be quite a vexatious trial

Trial and Error

The Bessemer furnace eats its fill
It melts and then disgorges its kill
Forged as in the fires of hell
The hard cool steel we know so well

Sharp yet malleable hammered out true
To build with strength and stainless too
Two edged we find its strength may be
Yet free from impurities it is we see

To reach this stage of true cool steel
Air pumped in the burning flames must feel
Through trial and error they struggle to perfect
To reach the perfection they adjust and correct.

Human Error

Our flaws include that "Love is to die for",
And the promise of death wills us to live with much galore,
with the common era pursuing common errors,
we chase the hypocrisy of love, life and death more.

Our faults include to be kind, only to the kind,
and betray benevolence to the profane,
like feeding nothing to poverty,
and nourishing the wealthy with more money.

Liberty, peace, truth and justice,
bind into the book of the rule of law.
Upon they swore to destroy buildings that casts shadows
with crossed fingers, then they cast shadows of their own.

Sought since the start of time is perfection,
changing human defects with gradual intervention
with the loose bolts and screws of reasoning,
probing the heart's abstruse cords and circuits.

Trying to remedy the faults,
hiding the dents of human judgement,
draining the wires off of creativity,
Born from human error is the robotics of the contemporary.

The Grammatical Error

My life begins at twenty years,
'twixt days' demands and childhood fears.
I ask myself what I've become,
To what hardships I must succumb;
And in this life to be explored,
I ask what I am living for.

These questions, numerous and crude,
I have o'er sixty years to brood.
And in this dual decade I
Have asked a lot of "where"s and "why"s.
Though now I’m but a structured mould,
I’ve culled the way my life unfolds:

My life shall be a sentence with
A majuscule, a period stiff;
With crossed T's and dotted I's
And metaphors that symbolize.
This sentence I shall start to pen
Let time fly now once again.

A Grammar Nazi I've become,
With rigid eyes and fickle tongue,
With cynic's mind I do detest
This sentence I should manifest.
My questions met with answers none.
From since the moment I begun,
I've asked the wrong question you see,
Grammatical errors poisoned me.
I asked what I am living for,
A foolish question I abhor.
A pronoun oversight, I dread
To "who I’m living for" instead.

Life is eighty years too short
To find the answers it assorts.
But no my life is wasted not:
Just hear my words within my rot.

No diamond shines forever true,
No albatross forever flew,
I've sought but dreams of happiness
And soon forgot in petty strife
To seek but one to share it with
And give some meaning to my life.

Seek Trial and Error

Seek Trial and Error

Seek what is right in a world filled with myth
Entering now with my family and kith
Each day is a test to judge what is right
Knowing its change in the course of the night

On making attempts to stay on my course
To further myself and find a new force
Fore’ my brain atrophies I must enforce
A brilliant new theory I can endorse

The theories exposed when I know I am wrong
Make me more anxious so I can be strong
Form new ideas as the start of a song
Eliminate errors where they don't belong

The pride of my theory produced to a fact
For life is a trial that I must endure
To sharpen and hone so I feel secure
From various forms of ideas I have hacked

Premium Member Human Error Digs Into the Salted Tears

Thank God someone is protecting the rights
those of our Divine Lord and soulfully addressing this how it should be
under canon law all political collections outside the church should be stopped
as each party was part of this genocidal slaughter which has been signed into law
sadness has gripped many good souls knowing suffering
praying seeing so many lost from God
knowing deep down they are not all bad
but they deny the truth and try to shut it down
standing to show a victim silenced Holy Innocence

Disillusion

like a dog with a bone,
 I
    threw
              the
                    first
                           stone

burning rage grew deep within
yelling and crying like
                                         sin

         explosive curses
              -so uncool-
stomping and acting like a
                                                damn fool

                burning
            ==bridges==
                with her

cool and calm like water…
           was the scared face
                         of
                             my
                                   daughter

            running on
                    ...
                    ...
                  guilt

needing a swift
                             boot in the
rear
                   for

Premium Member Learning In Error

In our life’s there is one certainty
something we do every single day
every one does this in every land
part of being human made of clay

We can try so much to combat it
but we still make that mistake
there’s not just one kind but many
so making it so hard to break

Mistakes are there for our profit
so to learn real lessons of life
a mighty head teacher making us
overcome much of life’s strife

Ask the question of your teacher
so his answer will be your benefit
making your life so much better
so these mistakes make you super fit

Learning is such good fun
especially it stops any error
put them behind your back
you’ll be in front with no terror!

Facial Error

What am I? Her mind wonders when she looks at herself in the mirror accounting on why God created her this way. She looks at her reflection and all she can see is pain inside of her.

Her mind left confused when people never notice that she is around. She stands there waiting to be noticed, she stands there waiting to be approved by everyone around her.

Her mind shifts away when they start calling her names when they start expressing how ugly she is. She stands there thoughtless and unwanted by everyone. She has rejected herself.

She looks into her soul and all she can see is hurt. She reaches for her heart only to find out that they’ve broken her heart into little pieces.
She looks at her naked face trying to understand why she is different.

What am I? She asks herself trying understand why her mother tells her she is beautiful but yet other people are saying the complete opposite.
