Engaging Thoughts

i don't care
to see morning wink
from beneath the gray film
that leaves the day
undeveloped,
it's easier
to pretend
that night
has yet to end.

night's black
is the only veil
yet to cover my eyes
and i'm tired
of playing wife
to the unworthy,
tired of hiding
behind the thickness
of gray moods.

it's raining again
scribbling night's color
upon my cheeks,
kissing my lips
with day's aftertaste,
yet i pretend to smile
when love looks my way.

in all reality
i'm too old to care,
too old to dream of...

today,
night still holds me
in the negatives,
this day's still undeveloped
yet my mind
isn't anymore,
and my last thought
before anything can blush
is to be walked
slowly down the isle
in satin and bows
pretending
to be the bride
i never was
as you lift
the veil of white
and kiss me
one last time
and pretend
to miss me.

Premium Member An Engaging Libation

liquor
crushed ice
an effervescent tonic
an engaging libation

a crystal glass an empty mass
a looking glass an engaging lass
a reflection fills the flask
an hourglass figure smooth as glass

a view deep
a deep view

a hot and hard jigger
an episodic embrace of the stem

a nicely paced repetitive stroked type grip
measured
a high pitch pleasured note of delight
a charge

and another...

...and another...

...and...

….....

...a spill...

...a swig...

...a swallow

an emphatic gush
a coupled roast
an orgasmic toast
a sexual rush.

   "Engaging in Love and Marriage"

hearts entwine true love
romantic stairway to stars
fairy dust magic
sweet emotion escalates
precious passion ignites blaze.

souls touch fond caress
tender kisses fan love flames
halves create a whole
proposal with velvet box
eternal circles of gold.

chapel blessed by Sun
melody of wedding song
charming bride and groom
euphoria resonates
for God made their paths collide.

love will conquer life
love and marriage, challenging,
respect spousal flaws
cherish golden spoken words
quickly forgive so love lasts.

Premium Member Spontaneous Fun

For Timothy Lee

When you smile at me
                  our hearts beat as one
                                 twosome enjoying love's glee

New daylight will come
            delivering a yellow sun
                   inviting us outside
                         to romantic feels
                              of spontaneous fun

Forever stay close to me
                 our paired play is spun
                                 under sky's blue bright spree

An Engaging Repartee

Enjoying an appealing repartee
Over scones and a cup of tea
Belching whilst cooking
Avoiding chronic particles from choking

Comradeship amongst landed gentry and friends
It all makes faultless sense
Avoiding topics that’s nonsensical
Keeping a lid on emotions and remaining sensible

Being sensuously sociable
Status eminent and unreachable
It is nonetheless within pulpit reach
Spattered with a seven year itch

A contentious immoral pair
Culminating in an indelible affair
Relationship commencing from spontaneity
Both relenting with reciprocity

Inappropriate association stifling me
Loathing of perversity for all to see
Probing the other with a stolen glance
Guard down devoid of a lance

Facilitating a rendezvous
Gathering a result of a woo
Deeper drawn into the abyss in vain
Inglorious fall from grace of the luscious moral fountain

One part of the source
Neither one being remorseful
Subsequently asked for divorce
The indignant feeling pitiful

Both caught in shameless tryst
In the presence of taut vice
The spilling of the sauce
There shall now be no more recourse

An Engaging Visit To the Hospital

Last night I had a face to face confrontation with my floor. I redecorated it in
crimson red. A poorly thought out medicinal cocktail, mixed with a bit too much
wine, helped me demonstratre Issaac Newton's theory of gravity. As well as
adding further evidential proof to the theory of entropy. Now blue and purple have
always been my favoite colors, so I was pleased to see my now "tie-dyed" torso.
I had a number of pleasantries in strore for the staff- like my usual red "TRAUMA"
stickers on my forehead. And, of course, I always sign in as Randell P. McMurphy
I find a hospital setting a good place to have some fun, well, at least if I'm not
dying. Sleep well, my friends.

Premium Member Trapped In An Engaging New Year's Eve

It happens every year

Filled with cheer

A holiday when we get together

But it was the weather

Which made us stay in

Bar stocked with vodka and gin

As for the Champaigne

Drinking to success, glitter, and fame

We will open that around the witching hour

Giving the calendar stage and power

Screaming “you do notice me”

“You did pick me up for a dollar fee

When you ran into the department store

Looking for something on the sales floor”

“I was with hanging pictures that were great

Announcing the month and date”

Stating how many more days do we have to wait

To do this all again

Hoping not having to defend

Why we are not traveling in the snow

Not really wanting to go

To that lavish festive bash

Irritating like a rash

Instead, we cozy up by the wintry fire

Quiet not listening to any resolution liars

Instead enjoying the crackling and burn

What was that concern?

About

Going out

And saying “season greeting”

For the final time during this traditional meeting

Deciding to replace it with a whispering message in each other's ear

Already loving the new year

Her deep green eyes like jewels shone,

in silver beams of Flower Moon.

Emerald ring, a perfect stone,

for deep green eyes of jewel tone.

Oh, how he wished that May were gone!

She danced for joy and dreamed of June!

Her deep green eyes like jewels shone,

in silver beams of Flower Moon.

Her Engaging Essence

On Valentine my girlfriend asked me what she really mean to me... And I answered -

You're the air I breathe
The blood in my veins
The sunshine in dark
The happiness in pain

The rhythm in my heart
The charm on my face
The glitter in my eyes
The thought in my brain

The place I live
The ocean I dive
The book I read
The story I write

The path I walk
The shadow alongside
The beat I dance
The moon at night

The song I sing
The beauty I admire
The teddy I hug
The woman I aspire

The attitude I wear
The moment I miss
The stars in the sky
The dream I live

The tale I listen
The secret I keep
The calm in my soul
The love I seek

The equation of my life
The chords I play
The bed to my romance
The zeal of my day

The lyrics I ink
The picture I click
The coffee to my morning
The topping I pick

The chocolate to my waffle
The sky I see
The game I bet
The sip of my tea

You're the kiss I treasure
The promise I keep
The red of my rose
You're all what I need

I love you darling

Premium Member Engaging Pity Need No Ones Help

Orthopedic shoes
A life time of paying dues
Engaging pity need no ones help
It’s useless to choose
More winning than lose
What have we too done
Stop watching me run
Engaging pity need no ones help
Stop pitying me
Stop engaging me in your imagines
Engaging pity need no ones help
I am old again
This is known again
It’s useless to choose
More winning than lose
Engaging pity need no ones help
What have we too done
Now for all I’ve ever done or did
If you’re sleepy then go to bed
I’m gonna stay up till dawn
Cause I am grown
Engaging pity need no ones help

Engaging the Gear of Lust

At all women was he looking with a leer,
So evident too true and clear
You can this verify from A seer…

Even at women no longer near
And ones their hating eyes could spear
All of them passing off as “His Dear”
Save one he’d reserved “My Deer”
And would eyes into her sear:
A knife neatly slitting a pear;

God’s Seventh Law denying fear:
His sharpest lust The Engaged Gear.
