Engaging Esmerelda

Her deep green eyes like jewels shone,

     in silver beams of Flower Moon.

Emerald ring, a perfect stone,

     for deep green eyes of jewel tone.

Oh, how he wished that May were gone!

     She danced for joy and dreamed of June!

Her deep green eyes like jewels shone,

     in silver beams of Flower Moon.
