Angels

                                                   when I lie to sleep
                                          thoughts of angels in heaven
                                                   flicker in my dreams

                                                   holding hands we fly
                                        above the clouds to great heights
                                                    surveying dear lives

                                                   my subconscious gets
                                            embedded with their whispers
                                                      to elongate hands

                                                      when eyelids open
                                            the winds push me to salt lakes
                                                        to saturate tears

                                                        my divine angels
                                                     usher in empathy by
                                                      opening shut doors

                                                           April 9, 2016

Serene Snow Morning In Ireland

Hushed morning.....
A winter scene from my bedroom window
of soft pearled fields sloping to the sea
Rose hips, blood red with white frosting
Naked branches as snow falls from bough to bough
Pale melon sun shines, as a thaw struggles in

A steel grey sky mirrors a stilled ocean
Shadows of Spruce elongate the milk carpet
Pistachio ivy clings to the tree trunks
freezing fog lingers, the feeble sun waning
as a blackbird hops, mirabelle beak pecking

Bitterness

Bitterness

She secluded in her room to relish her ritual
A bracing cup of tea she concocted with the little available
Emitted an audible sigh routinely abysmal
Sank into elongate meditation,nothing abnormal

The ethical doddering lady had long been achingly critical
Of our unequivocal iniquity and detestable
Of societal homosexual unions categorical
Carnage on behalf of God intolerable

The over-the-hill lady once,to meet her approval
Bid her relatives to benefit her corpse a decent burial
Abstain from grieving and weeping on her funeral
Rather deplore their destiny tediously controversial

She couldn't bemoan a life where survival
Echoes with betrayal,bribery and pronounced scandals.

Premium Member A Jewel With An Unquenchable Radiance

I saw a female being
Shining bright like a diamond
Staying atop the cloud as she rules the heavens
Making the sun stand still
and putting a pause to the rains
as the entire world look up above
in admiration, in awe and in wonders.

pure and modest in her rule
innocent and natural in her gaze
weakening and tender is her smile
but powerful and charming is her beauty

Her scent so magical and epic
forcing a change to the laws of nature.
World kings with their chariots and legions
cannot match the strength of her touch
wild and intimidating beasts bow in cowardice
to the glorious effect of her radiance.

Her confident steps direct the winds
and her outstretched arms elongate the day.
Her emotions- a perfect antidote to disasters
and her sweet care, a great comfort for the night.

Just the silk of her cloak
and the decoration of her embroary;
her long, straight, light but shy hair
on a well bordered, spotless and fine face
all tremble the strong and dumbfold the wise

Perfumes from America
can come from the aroma of her skin,
the cleansing water from the dead sea
can have healing powers with her tears.

A beauty beyond words and expressions
an attractive force creating wishes
from all gender to taste the kiss of her lips;
from both Adults and infants
to cling to the satisfaction of her breasts.

Even Nature admits to its defeat of her
and no form of her, reduces her glow.
In happiness, confidence and peace,
she's like a new fresh Camilla full of nectar
In sorrow, mourning and depression
she's like a new lamb-tender, soft and affectionate.

Come to my nest
O ye Queen butterfly
cos I'll not stop singing of your praise
until I'm blessed with your shining light

As the Foundation Sinks

the pantomiming madman squeals appeals
as tall gray shadows elongate along the wall
like black-hearted judges brewing venom
within their jowls bulging and anticipating
the reaping of tears and tremulous wails

the growl of steel-bars and the verdict of iron-doors
molds monsters masticating pheromones of trepidation
as the silent song of degradation infects ears of prisoners
dripping nightmares into their brains wading in masks
the jolting alarm of roll-call roiling disjointed curses

falling into the melody of servitude marching in syncopated
perpetual motion as granite guards grind their hard jaws
scanning with silver mirrors pupils expanding and contracting
inside hellish universes of the condemned fingering fissures
hemorrhaging light illuminating scales of a screeching snake…

My Poetic Vibe

MY POETIC VIBE.

As I talk in rhymes,
This makes my readers never
To sleep between any line
Your mind is fixed to this light
As I read into critics eye.
Scream to the stars and never
Fill shy,
These the only time I can talk
To persuade you peninsula's child.
My rhythmic vibe,
Isn't thy spirit happy that
You are pronounced alive?
You know Marley's track
Women must always cry,
This is Habib's flight that I will
Always shine before this night dies.
Kindly stand at alert
No man can quarrel with this shark
Sharpen those palms and forget
The spelling called setback,
Imitate the giraffes prank
Continue to elongate never fear of
Going to slack.
I proclaim the rhythmic vibe
My father laid a little spark
Presently I just burnt the entire farm.
Blessed is the chest who never dreams
Of inherited wealth,
She's a permanent curse upon my
fragile head
As I will never live to mold my personal
Crest.
My vibes just landed unto the earth,
This rhythm will never come to an end.

LANTERNE PHRASIS 7
Breathe in &dream,step up close,
let inner sensations inhabit this
collage perfected by chance.It
may go against the grain to create
the appearance of things with dramas
in the mind which appear to distort
and elongate.But,seen in a new light
without a second thought can become
a foretaste of rhapsody,a defiance that
revels in impressions,once  unregarded,
but which now radiate symmetry,
drawing the eye.

Timed Passage

go out in the field with that
helmeted Go-Pro and press the button,
not that little clearing beside the building
but the field as wide as it is far, far out

look up and stream the dark washed sky
times elapsed in fusioned milky light
watch it arc across the chilled, stubbled field
the cold sparks beautifully splayed across

turn it over now - a bit further, roll over,
refocus, look down close at the loam laid on
set the time-lapse for lengthening days
and watch your shadow pass below you

see the seed casing crack open and
seedlings rise to first season of life
toward the now brightened sky above
listen to the cells elongate springing

against gravity to push away to up, up
sit up, or stand and raise the gaze farther
the slow pan of growth, Jacked up stalk through
sky and clouds to see what's so big up there

Bloodsport

Bloodsport
~~~~~~~~~
Children of the darkness
Massing with the waxing swell of our mistress Luna
As the canines elongate prenatal sight sees it
An unsuspecting naked city
Their feasting ground where many foolish herd beast
stalk the night as hunters ignorant of near lifesend
As the living shadows with burning nocturnal eyes
writhe and approach hunger is all consuming
Simpleton fools unclean in spirit and the flesh
This peril is never seen or heard, by would be killers
Judged and found wanting by the true nightstalkers
Hell bound and damned
A bloodless carcass left for the rodentia brethren
This gathering horde consume a wasted morsel
but it’s just an appetizer there’s much more to come
With the nights waxing, well before dawn they revel
in yet another unholy tantric blood feast
Premium Member Human Disconnection
oh, the irony...
glued
to electronic devices
designed to foster
connectedness,
yet the yawning gulf
between relationships
w   i   d   e   n
as a result.
with technology overuse,
far too many become
increasingly isolated.
with lips pressed
against cell phones,
fingertips
tap-dancing
on keyboards
as minutes
elongate to hours;
we grow oblivious
to the world around us:
ringing phones,
ticking clocks,
chirping birds,
loved ones
calling out to us
go unheard;
undivided attention
denied
to acquaintances,
friends,
even family members...
is it any wonder
we misspend time
electronically plugged in?
what has happened
to face-to-face communication?
what a world of difference
it makes
temporarily disconnecting
to r e e s t a b l i s h
the human connection.
In the Veil of Oddity
Amidst the enigmatic tides of time, peculiar occurrences unfold
As light withdraws, distant and aloof, leaving shadows to elongate
The sun's standstill seems to stretch eternity, casting deeper shades
Breath, once warm within the breast, crystallizes into icy blocks
Fear's scorching touch dissolves the flesh from fragile bones
In this epoch of strangeness, the valley plunges like a voracious grave
Souls descend like autumn leaves, fluttering from a withered tree
Their destiny entwined with ash's embrace, and dust's eternal slumber
The gaping yawn, a maw of hunger, akin to a ravenous beast
In this curious epoch, fear slips through the gates, a murderer of sleep
Once towering towers of prayers crumble to fragments, lost and adrift
Taking flight akin to bats fleeing from infernal flames' embrace
Judgment, akin to a patient vulture, observes and waits in the shadows
In this cryptic moment, That One stands at the door, a relentless knocker
No invitation sought, entering like a divine lord, to demand retribution
Even for debts not yet due, leaving one stripped and empty-minded
In these inexplicable times, our essence eludes illumination
No, not when anarchy ascends its throne, and sin thrives with delight
Even faith wanders like a spectral specter, seeking solace and redemption
Pleading for a stake to pierce its heart, to know some form of release
Day End
Day End
5/25/14
The crow caws and takes flight with the diminishing gray half light
Shadows elongate over a field of yellow green spring grass
This high day full of living nears its sweetened terminus
Through the upstairs open window of our bedroom
We retreat to a welcoming lair of dreams
As we hold each other in loving caress
Warm skin to cool skin rises
And black night descends
Deep sleep can wait
As love smiles
We drift
Again.
Space
The final frontier?
So much to take in
   clutter and congestion
   upon this revolving earth
   and yet
so little left of green forests,
    settled in by buildings and humanity
    ramparts on the left
    bastions, bridges, barricades
    highways on the right
with little remaining in between.
Spaces in the middle
 along the edges
 down the valleys
 across the fields
there from up on the mountains
 stretching and tugging at time
 exonerating a moment of creation
 securing futures unseen
 living the dream of being
waylaid by man and history and change.
Space opens
 closes off the planets
 shuts out the stars
 drifts off into the distance
where meteors and asteroids race
 to escape the boundaries
 to elongate the outer margins
 to expand the realms of reality
 to endure
beyond the hand of man.
