Angels

Angels



                                                   when I lie to sleep
                                          thoughts of angels in heaven
                                                   flicker in my dreams

                                                   holding hands we fly
                                        above the clouds to great heights
                                                    surveying dear lives

                                                   my subconscious gets
                                            embedded with their whispers 
                                                      to elongate hands

                                                      when eyelids open
                                            the winds push me to salt lakes  
                                                        to saturate tears

                                                        my divine angels
                                                     usher in empathy by
                                                      opening shut doors
