Best Earlobes Poems
Entering the doorway through my heart
Following the nuance of space
Allowing expansion ~ mystery ~ and curiosity
To guide me into realms of spiritual awakening
Journeying through moments in time
Filled with opportunities
To appreciate and cherish
To express gratitude
To be connected to the forces
Of nature and humanity
Together we take flight
Guided by white hawks
Silently lifting off
Into darkened skies
Kissed by gray hues
Alighting on silken clouds
Transporting us higher
A deep inhale as gentle breezes
Tickle my earlobes and caress my soul
My heart is open ~ expanding ~ gaining insight
Exposed
My tears flow freely
I allow the pain and suffering to become me
As I focus on illumination and helping others
With embracing arms and heart alive
Calling out to our elders and animal spirits
To join in our collective dance
The soft wind carries us
We float and fly and glide
Entering the realm of light
Sunbeams vibrating at the edges of perception
A fuzzy twinkling as our eyes excite
Riding magic cloud carpets
Above ocean’s breast
Gazing down
The beauty becomes us
Gold light rays skate on undulating waves
Illuminating tide’s glimmering foam
A waltz of light and sound
Briny majesty
Luminous shafts dance and sway
In a lovers embrace
Across veridian waves
Passionately singing out
Becoming one
Our voices ~ melodies
Songs of our ancestors
Ballads from distant shores
Past and present
Reveal themselves in
Tender haunting notes
Arriving on mist’s fingertips
Hoovering close to Mother Ocean’s surface
We hear her heartbeat
Lap lap lap ... bubbles ... breath
Surface foam breaking
She appears in nature’s coat of shiny black
A regal humpback
A tranquil Goddess welcoming us
We ride upon this graceful giant
As she whispers her secrets
Feeling her slow movement
Through watery depths
Turning gently ~ moving up and down
We welcome her strength as
Turquoise tides caress us
Guided by celestial navigation .... we ride
Gazing up at the sparkling stars
We listen to the collective heartbeat of eternity
One breath
One exhale
Together

Would that I had a bracelet of starlight 'round my wrist.
A matching ring upon my hand, my earlobes starlight kissed.
I wish I had a neck chain of moonbeams 'round my neck,
To wear with robes of gossamer and be so fine bedecked;
But if I had such finery it wouldn't be so special.
I wouldn't value it so much if they were on my level;
But every night I'm bathed in them, the jewels of the night.
I bask in silver radiance as I walk beneath their light.

I
Moved
My fingers
Around her face
With the greatest care
Feeling most every space
Tracing over sensual lips
Softly touching with finger tips
Over her eyes and soft curved brows
Then round to her earlobes I felt her smile

Sausage and custard and ice cream with mustard
Chocolate coated Kentucky Fried Bustard
Whipped cream with mushrooms or frogspawn on toast
These are the foods that an ogre likes most
Volcanic craters and baths full of gators
A pantry thats choc full of gagged and bound waiters
sleeping on bones in a pterosaurs nest
These are the places an ogre likes best
Eyeballs and elbows, the odd severed nose
Ankles and legs and a number of toes
Earlobes and kidneys and hearts to dissect
Things that an ogre just loves to collect
Teeth that are bleeding and eyes that are red
Skin like the skin of somebody that’s dead
One missing ear and a hole in the throat
And chomping raw meat from the leg of a goat
So now that you have him laid clear in your head
The image you see is of someone to dread
For sometimes the truth is a pain in the neck
And ogres in real life are nothing like Shrek

Masai Boyfriend
I’m in love with a Masai Boy
Tall sable-skinned giant.
In hand, a stick his joy
Smile; true lips of a saint!
Wealth: bull, cow and calf
Safe from creatures feline
Identity, not Masai by half
But, nomad of a royal line.
Sceptre; his wooden sticks
Royal Cloth, the red robes...
Savouring gore with licks
Logs stuck in his earlobes.
“Stands with imposing height
“Scanning the Masai Mara
“On a leg of striking might!”
So writes his lover Clara.
“High Jumper of renown,”
Again, she sent the tweets,
“Sound sleep have I known
“He jumps inside sheets!”
**With Love & Respect for the exemplary fortitude of Kenyan Cultures, whose “imposing height” (evocative of the Masai) is a pride of Human sanctity.
**The Poem is a reflection of, sometimes, a cross-culture and cross-racial marriages that, despite diversity in norms, may bestow a fantastic experience and everlasting bliss.
**With happy memories of my Friend, Gerald Kithinji, a Patriotic Poet of Kenya (his beautiful Homeland.)

The shrill blare of my alarm clock
Ripped me from my pleasant slumber.
I reluctantly rolled from the
Warm comfort of my bed and
Began my morning routine.
I cautiously traced my eyes with
Elegance,
Because he likes girls that dance.
I glued to my eyelids
Propriety,
Because he likes decent girls.
I shaded my eyelids with
Mystery,
Because he likes the unexpected.
I brushed my cheeks with
Innocence,
Because he likes younger girls.
I pierced in my earlobes
Jealousy,
Because he likes it when girls are possessive.
I painted my sharp nails with
Criminality,
Because he likes girls that get into trouble.
I sketched my eyebrows into a scowl with
Hate,
Because he likes mean girls.
I drank in one last glance
At my illustration in the mirror,
And, with my backpack
And a smile of authenticity,
Continued out the door.

"The Seduction"
by: Eric L. Boddie
In total ecstasy and bliss, everyone knows that's how it ends
But it is so difficult for us to agree on just how it begins
But it starts with the passionate embrace of the eyes
Because from deep within the Soul is where this temptation must rise
Inspiring the touch of fingers to the frame
The gentle caress relieves the stress and style of dress just the same
Then the kiss....so soft....so warm....so moist
The earlobes, the neck, the nipples, the cheeks, but the lips are the favorite choice
Then the tongue bath, that's just how the saying goes
And to be thorough, you must either start or finish with the toes
But just remember that when you reach the most pleasurable part
You must leave it dripping wet, that's if you want to reach the heart
And when your voice reaches the point where it is higher than the flight of a dove
Then you are ready to experience the deep, long injection of Love
And until you get enough, this process continuously repeats
The endless flow of juices is released until you're delivered to the embrace of deep sleep
So cum....and get you some....

MY BEAUTY
Piece by piece
I will remove them
I will undo them now.
I will undress now
Like the stripper you wish me to be
I will throw them at you
Daring you to grab them
Measuring how vast your desire is
Seeing your indecision on whether
To hold the pieces
Or to touch my nakedness.
I will gently remove my starched headpiece
That sits majestically on my head
And finger comb my shaggy shrubby hair
Knotted lifeless on my head.
I will undress now
Piece by piece
For why should I hide
My beauty from your loving eyes?
I will with particular care unclasp my gold earrings
That have been winking all night at you
And leave dark scarred earlobes
I will undress now
Piece by piece
For why should I hide
My beauty from your yearning eyes?
I will unadorn my neck
Tugging away the heavy priceless pearls
That have hung around my neck
And leave my almost invisible neck
Bare to your glance
I will undress now
Piece by piece
For why should I hide
My beauty from your worshipping eyes?
I will with precision and concision unclasp my floral printed blouse
That has fitted me to perfection all evening
To reveal my wrinkled saggy breasts
That have obeyed the law of gravity
I will undress now
Piece by piece
For why should I hide
My beauty from your coveting eyes?
I will slowly push my pencil skirt
That has hugged my curves adoringly
I will sway with it as it travels down
Revealing flabby cellulite infected folds of flesh
I will undress now
Piece by piece
For why should I hide
My beauty from your worshipping eyes?
I will undress now
Piece by piece
For my beauty
Is what really glazes your eyes
Not so?

Diva with human touch- for contest
Alighted she from her red limousine
Bedecked in A-line gown, pista green
Till the waist embroidered golden sheen
Satin silk with a halter neckline
Charming face and a vibrant smile!
Stiletto glassy gold with shiny stones
Diamonds green dangled from her earlobes
Clutch in hand golden green embellished with pearls
Nail art elegant studded with shimmers added extra glow
Glossy red lips, curly eye-lashes, glamour gushed in flow
Chiselled nose, magical eyes, hairstyle mussed beehive
She looked a mermaid of fairyland
With rosy cheeks and graceful style
Confident steps on the red carpet
Huge cheer from the umpteen fans
Gorgeous diva of dreams she was
Guys present had skipped heartbeat
Cameras flashed to click her pics
She looked seasoned to this paparazzi and glitz
Waved she her hands and sent flying kiss
Autographs from classy pen with golden nib
Chaperoned by a handsome guy,
reached the stage beautifully set for her
Mike in hand she addressed the crowd with I love you all....
Money I raise from my song tonight will go to my charity drive
To help shape future of the children from the war-torn land
Huge applause and then follows sweet song in her voice
Celebrated beauty she already was yet more
beautiful her ways
Her charms always struck the sight but her tender heart won the soul!

A piece of gold, Rarely found
A kiss, so sweet, It melts a frown
A smile, That lights up a darkened room
A touch, That melts one heart in two
Compassion, and delicate
Brave, and fierce
Unfounded beauty,
Full figured woman appears
Swollen cheeks, Busty hips
Big brown eyes, Soft sable lips
Luscious hair, Draped down my neck
Cushy earlobes, For you to peck
A heart so ready to love indeed
With so many wonders and possibilities
There is something so great , Deep in my soul
Something so passionate, Delicate and bold
A gift, That keeps on giving
A silent ear, To voice your fears
An embrace, So great, It washes away
The troubles, of tomorrow, and yesterday,
Glossy eyes, That capture your soul
Intimacy and compassion untold
You'll never be lost, Or pushed astray,
For I am the peace , To protect you at bay
If given a chance, To fulfill all your needs
Committed to you, Is what I will be
For I am the door and you are the key
And you've just discovered ~ALL OF Me

The tv is on down the hall voices compete
for attention from delicate hammock earlobes.
I think it is the national geographic channel.
They announce the modern evolution of the
species one by one.
They say things like most Canadian geese these
days are loud mouthed episcopalians.
Not like the long legged crane Lutherans who dont
Seem bothered by solitude.
Cameras shutter speed to record the flight..
Singular wake of where a leg once stood..
Speaking in hushed tones as he rises.
"you know my throat grew so dry in
those grasses".
Yet still looking out my window reminds me that the
Raven is an elegant priest..
Squawking corsley over long concrete robes..
chain smoking on a light post and eating
ramen noodles that have spilled from
my garbage can.

Blank verse
Weather comes, but not to everyone.
Strange or strong, or just the sun,
Wet, dry or, "Just no fun!"
Are you ready for the weather
With a heart light as a feather?
Do you care or do you bother?
Someone freezes to death and starves.
Another just sits, whistles and carves,
Patiently waiting and nothing mars.
Is it possible to get away?
Usually, it's a price too high to pay
Put it on another day?
Totally unprepared for cold
Or are you fully clad and bold?
"We just love Winter!" I am told.
Unbelievable differences around the globe
Winter preparedness or frozen earlobes,
Or, "No fear, Life goes on like Job's!"
There's challenges and weather comes.
Decide, take an attitude, make some puns,
Laugh, change and help give out buns.
Yes, volunteer and be a part.
Give from your smile and your heart.
Use Winter's benefit, a brand-new start.
Do your best to prepare.
Don't be blue nor despair.
Go to God in prayer.
Hear a Spirit-filled wise word,
Trust and never be lured
To give up or be deterred.

Bar Stool Bed Sore Ode to the Record Machine
Smoking Winstons
At the Seaway Lounge
At 2:00 a.m.
The juke-box sighs out
Buck Stovell, Roy Crestline and an occasional Darla Parsell,
Whoever she is
Buxom barmaids who are 53 years old
Wear nineteen year-old gold stretch pants
Bleached blond earlobes
Wrinkled double chins
Kissing
Genuine Cherokee Indian jewelry
An old gray side-burned man asleep
In the corner
Beside the cigarette machine
Middle aged women looking very divorced
At the bar, two stools away
From the pretzel can
I sip on warm Blue Ribbon
That looses it color in the dirty glass
“Oh … lonesome me”
Juke-box oozing out tunes
As my jaw oozes out of socket and
Into my callus factory hands
Dirty finger-nailed
Sex-starved wrists
Palms ready to …
Put another quarter in the box
Nashville’s monument to love
In a shaggy bar, in Lawrence, Indiana

I'm but a face on the wrong side of a foggy window.
I'm but a shadow who dances in the headlights at night.
So while you're lying there, wondering if I will ever let go,
Would you just try to shut your eyes and pretend that it's alright?
I fog the glass with my breath that smells of cinnamon and merlot.
I know you dream of morning dew that smells along the same lines.
But dear, your lips, they taste like bright red candy canes and Jane Doe
And minty rain falls on your panes at night.
I'm but a shell of what once was,
Don't think about me too much.
And while you're on the inside dry,
Just turn your head as I pass by.
You're like a circus darling, lights and sounds and ringing in my earlobes.
You're like a zoo, not to be rude, but my, the girls you like are crude.
So while you kiss your lovely ape you've brought home late in her street clothes,
Hope you don't mind if I rewind to the night I shared with you.
I'm but a shell of what once was,
Don't think about me too much.
And don't you dare change your address,
I'll find you dear, you'd be impressed.
Breathe deep as you snooze
in your curtainless bedroom.
I'm but a shell of what once was,
Don't think about me too much.
I'm just a shell who's dead to you,
so I'll just watch you, my cartoon.
