Eddie currents confused the conduits in this mind
How can the transformers in the brain go not blind
Confusing is the light, direct me as it's straight shined
Hundreds of emotions imprisoned and confined
Thoughts going back to teenage years deeply pined
Worrying about the love effects totally enshrined
Consider this cancer, your thoughts are far too kind
This melon has been carved deep, right to the rind
Missing all that I've lost, forever rightly defined
Penned for the world to read like riding bare on equine
A century, now I've given the soup all I have mined
Mentored by Sotto, DT, Mo, Anaya, and P. Hind
Mused by Constance, Brandy, Sunshine, Anna, I've refined
Influenced by Gershon, Paula, and Dilly, like whine
Holding fast to FJ, Charles, Eve & Deb my heart relined
My love for you all wide openly is to remind

Premium Member Daniel Turner - Cherished Friend

Of famous sonnets I’ve unwrapped so far,
Including Shakespeare’s brilliance, I’ll contend,
None close compare as near one superstar,
Entitled “Daniel Turner - Cherished Friend”;
Aligned in gentle reassuring tone,
That shares with passion wisdom learned in time;
A wellness check on friends who feel alone,
Reminding patience renders life sublime;
When needed Daniel came to me one day,
And helped lift sullen skies that threatened peace,
For that I’d like the world to hear me say –
Thanks DT, for calming through troubled seas.
Although these lines lack any imagery,
I hope they show I’m here if you need me.

Premium Member Friend I'Ve Never Seen

A kindred spirit halfway 'round the world
I can not see his face only his heart
His kind words and verses reveal his pearls
Exuding confidence and mind so sharp
Does he hoist his sail with wind in his face
And drop his anchor in quiet lagoons
Or keep wind to the rear as if to race
Send dreams up high like helium balloons
Does he smile and whistle returning home
Reconnecting to his past and old friends
Maybe stay in the present ne'er to roam
And live within and on no one depend
I think it would be nice to sit and talk
And to share some laughs on a friendly walk

Somewhere Back Into the Childhood

Putting a reverse gear,
I'll go back,
Where no religion or
Boundaries, could be listed.
One cared only for dolls.

Premium Member Faces of Loneliness-Win

Loitering lonely in a crowd in London
Separate, apart, different from the rest
Because of change of culture and taste
Can’t relate or fit in their world within.

In the whirlpools I gyrate in the middle
Things required to be finished before dates
For the dead and sick sending courtesy calls
Or Greetings for birthdates and weddings.

Sitting depressed or standing in my balcony
On the ground I see the last year’s leaves
The twigs are black and cold is dry & itchy
Think of failures and not of joy or victories.

In between the average sadness and joys
Only thing remains is solitude to enjoy
Of which I don’t see any remedies or cures
Not even bitter pain pills or lenitive lures.

Loneliness wearing away the idle mind
Like a grain of food a hungry ant finds
Hearing the temple-bells I feel to shout
“Hey I am alive, alive in this my lonely rout.

Our birds have flown away for a better lives
We stare at each other no sex drive but survive.

We Will Be Restored

When our lives come crashing down
around us like a hurricane
the Lord will build us back up
and restore us once again
and as he picks us up piece by piece
all our hurt and pain he will release
he will melt us and mold us
and make us even stronger than before
and our broken lives he will restore. Amen

  ISA 57:18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will guide him and restore comfort to him,

JER 30:17 But I will restore you to health
    and heal your wounds,'
        declares the LORD,

1PE 5:10 And the God of all Grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you
have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast
to him be the power forever and ever Amen.

DT 30 : 3
then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather
you again from all the nations where he scattered you. 4 Even if you have been banished to
the most distant land under the heavens, from there the LORD your God will gather you and
bring you back. 5 He will bring you to the land that belonged to your fathers, and you will
take possession of it. He will make you more prosperous and numerous than your fathers.

Critters

They call me Elly Mae 'round here,
For my critters are so many.
I love 'em each and every one,
And couldn't part with any.

You see, Tommy, he's the eldest,
Grumpy through and through.
Course, eighteen years as a cat,
Would make me grumpy, too.

Our dog, Grover, he comes next,
Protective you might say.
No matter how bad his arthuritis,
He's beside you all the way.

King, he's our hunter,
A faithful black and tan.
He'll stay hours on that tree,
And wait for fellow man.

Tacoma rounds the cattle,
Too smart for his own good.
He gives high-five, goes to time-out,
Probably talk if he could.

Kali, the calico kitten,
She sleeps with me each night.
She's my little shadow,
And insists she's always right.

D.T., she has mood swings,
Double Trouble is her name.
A great big mare with high spirits,
Need I more explain?

Rebel is the stud,
With a heart so pure and sweet.
He has that southern hospitality,
An attitude that can't be beat.

Gabriel is the baby,
He is now three months old.
With D.T.'s ***** and Rebels heart,
His sights are untold.

At last, we have Scooby,
The riot of them all.
Bucks from here to Timbuktu,
And thinks he's twelve feet tall.

While D.T.'s old image was bold
His weird rants seem hoary and cold
If campaign funds fade
The next asset trade
Is having Melania sold

Why would he throw away caution?
Seems like he’s got brain exhaustion
While human slave trade
Appears retrograde
This artifice needs an auction

India , My Pride

Indian peninsula is not unknown to you,
Not only land its sky is wonderful too.
Diverse in climate and culture and
Indians worship mother - nature.
‘Atithi devo bhav.’ is our code of conduct, this is what scriptures instruct.

My flag – The Tricolour.
Yummy cuisine.
Perfect ecosystem.
Rich religious growth and spirituality.
Incredible beliefs and customs.
Devotion and meditation.
Exotic wildlife and what not.

India has all colors of the rainbow,
Festivals, fun, love and respect have easy flow.

*‘Atithi devo bhav.’ means guest is god.

Archana

Though "Self praise is no recommendation"
Still I know I'm His best creation.
Now I would like to tell
So let me come out of the shell.

I'm nobody but an eight
Before zero in weight.
Just a little heavy and rolly-polly
Like a ball that is called volley.

Lazy, quiescent and a bit stupid
Actually I'm an innocent cupid.
People call me a fool
and that makes me feel cool.

Meaning of my name is to worship
But that's the thing we can always skip.
"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet"
I'm Archana and my friendship would be a treat.

After All This Is Holi

Wash all worries in clear water.
  Forget all that teases.
  Leave all loads of life.
Mix all colors to make one.
Color even those you don’t know.
  Scream loudly, out of joy.
  Throw color and water.
  Shout, enjoy and play merrily.
  Make a new start,
  After all this is ‘Holi’.

Husbands Are In Heaven Whose Wives Scold Not

All night I dream of life without wife,
Peaceful and heavenly, without any strife .
No scolding, no nagging,
Like ‘sake’ I’m having.
Alas! Its morning and gone my life.

Nostalgia

After working day long, was relaxing mind and soul
With a beautiful song.it took away all the troubles
Out of me.
As I was gazing around,my eyes caught the glimpse
Of a bright colored book.
Ah!! After a long hiatus,I saw the book.
it filled me up with nostalgia.
It was my diary ,a vault of my wonderful memories
          Of good and bad.
Opened the book ,saw all the poems
Written when I was young.
Sweet music was being played in the heart,
Read all those poems .
There was one unfinished poem looking
Sadly at me,saying ,give me a beautiful ending.
Ran my fingers over the pages,
Which was my savior from unrest .
This busy life made me forget the treasure
Trove of poems and passion.
The poem got me time travel and
I watched and enjoyed those bygone moments.
A poem about feelings which are unsaid
But still hold so strong in the heart.
The poem got its beautiful end,
it taught me that feelings are to be expressed
and they still linger in the heart, the
person goes away from us.
Its not that feelings are dead and
Heart had dried up,they blossom like
A flower every time whenever the
Cross our minds and make us
Relish those wonderful moments.
Tears rolled down my cheeks
Of content and happiness.

Time Has Changed

it was not a long time ago story when we have met
it was not a long time ago when we have shared our stories
we have never thought of loosing our dignities when we opened up and chat..
time has managed to met our two worlds like it bries..

we cherished our memories down the lane..
we laughed at our likings and made it more insane
we thought of getin ourself mould to our loved songs of i thnk coldplay..
time has also make it melodious as like somone will be in pain..

we also givin each other reality checks to make image clear..
we have been into touch with each other just like it was meant..
suddenly the fog has arrived like in any other story and all disappear..
time has changed d situation but its you who has tapd it to decant..

after a while u came up with ur funny lies and mocked around..
its funny to saw u like that and makin me fool again like its sound..
there is no hope in me trustin you blindly again..
dts how i can teach you the lesson of love n now to refrain...

dere were times whn i feel like havin u back again..
my heart was weak dts why it was calin ur name..
since when i have told u to move on but d pain remain..
time has nevr been same until it was meant to be framed...

love pari
if u likd d poem or if didnt ...just put ur input wid cmnts....i wud love to observe dt..
