Best Down To Earth Poems

Premium Member Ode to the Selfless Woman

Alluring kindness in a gentle, caring gaze,
Altruistic spirit, a beacon in a maze.
Anchor in the storm, a whisper, soft and strong,
As she walks among us, righting every wrong.

Anchored by humility, a beacon ever bright,
Brave spirit, championing justice with gentle might.
Considerate whispers mend a heart that's torn and frayed,
Down-to-earth laughter chases shadows, unafraid.
Empathy's embrace, a refuge warm and wide,
Fiercely compassionate, with burdens she confides.
Grounded in reality, dreams take graceful flight,
Humility, a crown she wears, a gentle, guiding light.
Integrity is her compass, on life's untrodden ways,
Joyful spirit, lighting paths through darkest, stormiest days.
Kindred souls she welcomes, with an open, accepting mind,
Lifting spirits with a touch, a solace they can find.
Modest triumphs whisper tales of battles fought and won,
Nurturing the vulnerable, 'til hope's new day has begun.
Open-minded to all voices, a symphony untold,
Passionate for a better world, a story yet unfolds.
Quiet strength, a steady hand, on life's ever-changing ledge,
Realistic dreams ignite a spark, defying every pledge.
Respectful gaze meets every eye, a bridge across the divide,
Selfless acts, a silent song, with love as her guide.
Tenacious spirit, breaking down the walls of fear,
Unassuming confidence, a whisper, loud and clear.
Vulnerable openness, a tapestry so bright,
Wisdom's gentle whispers guide her through the darkest night.
Yearning for a brighter dawn, her passion burns so true,
Zealous for justice, a warrior bathed in gentle dew.

Zealous for a brighter world, a warrior bathed in light,
Zest for life, a beacon burning ever bright.
Zenith of compassion, a heart forever true,
A song unsung, a tribute just for you.

Down-To-Earth Heaven

Ha, everyone wants to go to Heaven,
But you, me, no one wants to die for it,
You can't bet your life if it's there even,
It's a hearsay, you just read about it;
You live your life once then forever quit.

If you are so driven, level with me,
What would you trust and what do you decree--
Torah, Bible, Koran, Ramayana?
They are all true as I happen to see;
Heaven's here on earth, So is Nirvana!

When sky walks down to earth

You be a wild shower of monsoon,
and tranquillise my soft soul burning,
Seasons in tears flowed into lagoon,
and the heart sank into aches of yearning,

If you could see my blazing passion,
and feel the inside flame rising high,
See the sky walk down in obsession,
and come to my rescue, heave a sigh,

If you could feel fragrance of my love,
diffuse so quick in deep emotions,
Care to subtly caress your white dove,
and ponder over doubtful notions,

You be a dust storm of dry desert,
and blow away my inner grief,
Gratify my thirst of deficient,
my ash rest in absolute relief !

Warrior, Cast Down To Earth, To Dark Beast Smite

" From what magical realm do you now flee,
With silver belted sword and bright armor,
And awesome power of a Hercules,
Gifted with the face of a true charmer?"

"From Odin's realm, Halls of Valhalla's best,
With power of Thor and orders to smite,
Deep darkness in this world, at your bequest,
Return good, drive away beasts of the night."

"I give thy master greatest of my vows,
Purest in his faith, holding firm his creed,
Drink wine of his grapes, milk of sacred cow,
If failing this, may my life away bleed."

"Indeed, as such would be true if thee fail,
For thy hand and faithful heart have both sworn,
To Master of Realm, where light never pales,
To serve mightiest of heroes there born."

" I pray thee, again here my vow, sworn words,
In true honor and piety given,
Pleadings from we wretched swept into herds,
As slaves with no hope of ever liven'."

"Fail thee not of thy honor and brave heart,
I was sent to slay that foulest of beasts,
Destroy its wandering hordes, rip apart,
Its ravenous jaws, stop its nightly feasts."

"I pray thee success and with grateful soul,
Beg thy master that thee comes to no harm,
Thy course is set to honorable goal,
I now see no cause for future alarm."

"Fear not my lady, this shall now be done,
My sword now drawn, I go to dark beast slay,
Victory's sign shall be red setting sun,
From this night's moon, see me flying away."

"I pray thee, thy heart and sword-arm cuts true,
Thy courage wavers not, thy blows hit hard,
Our love, deepest respect thus flies with you,
Our hero warrior, our Odin sent guard."

Premium Member A Down To Earth Type Elf

When you get right down to it
That's exactly where I'll be
A truly down to earth kinda guy
Pretence is not for me

Others try to show a bravado
They think it's what ladies like
It's very true some of 'em do
But more like the tender type

When a man cries, the girlies swoon
Cuddle you to make you better
The mother instinct at surely at work
Right on down to the letter

It isn't difficult, should come natural
Just gotta try being yourself
Girlies aren't looking for a hero type
Just a down to earth type elf

So now you know how to score
A big hit with all the dear ladies
Just be yourself, stop trying so hard
You'll find the one, no maybes

Premium Member Down To Earth Dude

Just a down to earth dude, nothing special
Live a simple uncomplicated existence
It's how it's been for eighty-eight years
Changing now would be inconsistent

We are who we are after many long years
Of living, observing, and choosing
The path that seems like the right one to us
Is the one that's the least confusing

Some are comfortable with strife in their life
It seems to give them reason for being
Always liked mine to be real smooth sailing
With a simple devil-may-care feeling

Don't know how many of you nice people
Have a similar approach to living
Didn't have a choice it was chosen for me
But I certainly don't have any misgivings

Down-To-Earth, Up In the Sky

Down-to-earth statements,
Either spoken or written;
They indeed do make sense,
Causing smile to many men.

Down-to-earth person
Is so easy to talk to;
Approachable as he is,
Cordial in other's view.

Down-to-earth friend
Is practical and sensible;
Warm and friendly as he is,
His words are wonderful.

Down-to-earth winner
Is so unpretentious;
Meek and humble as he is,
Modest even if victorious.

Let lowliness live in your heart,
Reaching the dream so high;
Spread your wings with prayer,
Down-to-earth, up in the sky.

Down To Earth Music

Good evening boys.
We’re here to play not to pray. Oh God
That’s an unsuitable predicament for a garage band. Let’s
play some down to earth music
not some praise the Lord too high for your voice whining
music. Your hands belong on necks, not on books
your fingers should press strings,
not brandish gold rings..

Down To Earth Pleasures

DOWN  TO  EARTH  PLEASURES

Tyres screech and we’re down
Glad of it
Something satisfying about walking
     ---Where grass and flowers grow
On solid earth instead
Of an aluminum floor
With nothing growing
And only millimeters separate me from nothing
    ---Where turbulence affects only swirling leaves
And thunderclouds threaten only a drenching
And pressure on ears
Comes only from the dog’s tongue

Being,-Getting Down To Earth

Earth is a prop, a stage,
a place to grow-(your craft)?
nourishing, protecting, acting
like a sentient being.
It's shows-Showing in poetic artistry,
that giving a little soul to a speck of dust is a projective, directive of starshine's collective.
To be as a rock- of the divine.
A wholesome, natural, ground, devoted Tabernacle or home-dwelling, grounded
to the notion that circum-navigation is injected into your lines.
In the part you are showing,
to a full house.
Motivation? Cohesion, seasoned
light, action, time!

Premium Member Small Worth Humanity Calls Sinful Angels Falls Down To Earth--

All people brave and small;
Before the life of their worth;
Crashes life's burdens calls;
Duty bound humanity bursts;
Every angel that sins have plucked wings they fall;
Foreverness spent eternity on earth as demons then land in hell's halls;
