A Down To Earth Dude

Just a down to earth dude, nothing special
Live a simple uncomplicated existence
It's how it's been for almost eighty years
Changing now would be inconsistent

We are who we are after many long years
Of living, observing, and choosing
The path that seems like the right one to us
Is the one that's the least confusing

Some are comfortable with strife in their life
It seems to give them reason for being
Always liked mine to be real smooth sailing
With a simple devil-may-care feeling

Don't know how many of you nice people
Have a similar approach to living
Didn't have a choice it was chosen for me
But I certainly don't have any misgivings

Just a down to earth dude, nothing special
Live a simple uncomplicated existence

Carol Eastman March 18, 2014 at 10:22 AM Yeah, Right!... That's what Dragon says about himself, too... But come to think about it... He is down to Earth, unless he's up in the air! Hitting all those trees... Snicker... Expect the King of the Elves to show up shortly to sprinkle magic dust on Dragon so he flies a little straighter, again... like last year. So he doesn't decimate the forest trees... He's late, but suspect he's had his hands rather full of late, with those crazy little leuprechauns leading up to St. Patrick's Day... LOL.
