Drop by painless drop
Washed down the drain,
Flowing to a stop
Free from my brain

Hysteria and torment
With regret to follow,
Make their descent
Amongst fear and sorrow

There they all go
No need for them now,
Still learning to do so
Was never taught how

So deeply instilled
And clotting my veins,
Their intention fulfilled
Until I took the reins

To draw the old strife
Siphon all the negative,
Right out of my life
For a chance to live!

I can count my lovers with fingers
not promiscuous none the less
at age sixty two what say you

never used a condom
as it will be condemning
my beliefs

of not procreating
good genes
or the crazy

never to hold my babies
as fetus they were flushed
for the abuse at age fourteen

not a choice if you tell me
of morning sickness
to hide from my mother

bringing the wolf in her den
of lush and many tears
well I paid the price

but all is swell and a line or two
a survivor for you to read
the indulge the dreams

Another Atlantic City hotel-casino is going away.
The once-esteemed Taj Majal closes its doors after Labor Day.
It has a big casino with tables and machines galore.
There are posh restaurants, a state-of-the art theater, and much more.
This place is truly a landmark at the New Jersey Shore.
However, it will be a part of history, and not around anymore.
The hotel still bears a presidential candidate's name.
In recent years, it has fallen into financial shame.
It's been awhile since that man has been at the establishment.
These days, he's too busy running for President.
Not long ago, he had four hotels in the city.
Soon he will have none. Does that seem like a pity?

Keys down drain
Tried in vain
To obtain
Still remain
Rack one's brain.

Sight review
Don't pursue
Sank in goo
Then I knew
Order new.

[ to the tune of If I Only Had A Brain from The Wizard of Oz ]

I know she will soon be blushing,
Because of what she's flushing,
When I have to explain.
With the plug I will be finding,
She will need a swift reminding;
I may likely go insane.

Well, I’ve really got to fiddle;
It’s somewhere in the middle
Of twenty feet of drain.

Seems the start of this caper:
Maxi pads or too much paper
Have been flushed straight down again.

Oh, I don’t mean to pry;
We’ve had this talk before,
And your brain will freeze on things that you abhor.
So I’ll explain again once more.

Oh my darling, dearest muffin,
You simply can’t be stuffin'
Those products down the drain.
When she’s here, I am wary;
It is really rather scary,
‘Cuz she’ll do it once again.

Premium Member Pulled Down the Drain

I am not sad
The day is sunny
Spirits high
Well rested
Yet my words went to a dark place
They wrote themselves
I was helpless to follow them
Like being pulled by water
Spinning down a drain
I did not attempt to fight them
No happy ending required
No lesson to be taught
Just words assembled
Not a real person
Yet still many of him exist
Discarded
Locked away
Forgotten
Stories not fully told
Lives not fully lived
Out of sight
Out of mind
As I continue on with my sunny day

Reflecting on why I wrote my poem Crazy.

End Up Going Down the Drain

End Up Going Down the Drain

Have you heard nature trying to call
Went out and wrote poem off the wall
About fool flying into wide open space
Searching for human race all over the place.

I really had begun to blow my big stack
Said that human race I was trying to track
We found was going forward and very fast
Wondering how long human race would last.

Poems we put on fast forward had left behind
Designed for you to have much peace of mind
Would poem of mine actually get out of line
And while writing it we did wine and dine.

Desire to write poem had an urgent urge
Desire to do it out of my mind did purge
There was the desire lying before my feet
And when we did, it was done Dutch treat.

Will write poem in exchange for one of yours
And if throughout eternity yours endures
Will put off writing poem so we can wait
Trying to see the one that will be great.

Oh my goodness and what here on earth
None only nothing at all were my poems worth
Over whole world wanted my poems to reign
All they did was end up going down the drain.

Taliban knocking on doors in Afghanistan
   Trouble brewing in Pakistan

China hints at attacking Taiwan
Dare we hope Taiwan can hang on

All the while Mr. Kim launches rockets
North Koreans suffer, so he has deep pockets

While we are tied up with Ukraine
The rest of the world goes down the drain

Ring Down the Drain

Slipped through my finger my diamond ring
Down the drain it went so I got out some string
I attaching a bobby pin then coiled it like a box spring
Lowering it down gently but the phone started to ring
I went to answer it and cling clang there went the bobby pin
Down the drain next to my diamond ring pang ping
I lost my ring and bobby pin attached to the string
While running to the phone I sprained my hamstring

What a day I have had all and for nothing,
Now tears like rain for a lost diamond ring

Down the Drain

I can see you are in a lot of pain
You dropped your cell phone down the storm drain
Tears are welling up, you are about to bawl
Because you can't make a phone call
No chance of you lifting the lid
You couldn't reach it if you did
By now that phone is soaking wet
It is probably ruined and yet
I don't think I've seen anything dumber
When you borrowed a phone to call your number
You heard it ringing ten feet below
In a place where you can't begin to go
I couldn't believe it but it's a fact
You left a message to call yourself back

In WW2 Sweden sheltered
    Jews in desperate need

Today Swedes burn a Torah scroll
     a brutish, dastardly deed

Down the Drain

Down the drain,
Like unending rain,
Bringer of much too much,
Unending pain...

Who's responsible?
I don't know...
But down the drain,
I see it go.

Premium Member I Am As Filthy Water Down the Drain-

I am
I am so dirty, I'm filthy
flowing, oozing out down
I am as filthy water going, going down into the drain

I am open, an open spicket
and my sins are filthy brown and red
oozing out coverings flowing out from the top of my head
I am open sink hole stuck in shame
Like pouring filthy water down the drain

I stand before you and inhale
Your spirit into my being (well)
Sanction me separate me holy
Preserve purge me for your duty

I am open, an open spicket
and my sins are filthy brown and red
oozing out coverings flowing out from the top of my head
I am open sink hole stuck in shame
Like pouring filthy water down the drain

I stand on call for those wars, in end times truly
I stand before the saints of God as victors and not losers
Rising up to battle, no, no, no I just won't settle
I'll be ready not just getting ready

I am open, an open spicket
and my sins are filthy brown and red
oozing out coverings flowing out from the top of my head
I am open sink hole stuck in shame
Like pouring filthy water down the drain

Don't hold on to future pasts or presents sins
Whether named demon, devil, Lucifer or Satan
I'm going to release myself and just let my filth
from out of me like a fountain flowing valiantly
Like pouring filthy water down the drain
Like pouring filthy water down the drain

A disobedient spirit I choose not to hear him no, no, no, no no
I denounce your tempting's and disobedient messages Oh ah huh!
I'm now ever so redeemed I'm redeem myself by reading, hearting and doing God's Holy passages
I am know longer act this way, I am freed by the blood of the lamb
I am like filthy water going down the drain

She Poured My Beers Down the Drain

(This is a fictional poem)

After I got married, I learned that my wife believes it's wrong to drink.
She poured my beers down the drain and that really stinks.
She believes that drinking is a sin.
I told her I'd kick her ### if I ever caught her doing it again.
She kicked my shin and took a fork and jabbed it in my eye.
The eyepatch I wore made everyone laugh and that's no lie.
I just got a glass eye but it was expensive and it keeps falling out too.
Don't laugh guys. The same can happen to you.
