Best Dictating Poems

Premium Member RESPECT, KINDNESS AND CHOICE-POTD

Before you read my poem below please know:
This poem is generalised and not aimed at any individual
It is solely my observation and voice!

~~~~~~~~~~~
Why must it be analysed and dissected
To whether  a poet comments or not
We all do what we choose to do
We are a mixed bunch in this poetry pot
Some poets just like to write and read poetry
They are not interested in anything more
That is entirely their right and prerogative
That is what they are here for
Others like the social interaction
Making connections and poet friends
What you give, what you get here
On you it solely depends
Who we are …our wants and needs
Is our own personal choice
There are no set of commenting rules
No do’s or don’ts….no dictating voice
What another poet chooses to do
Is nobody else’s concern
As long every poet is respectful
Respect will be returned
Comment or not, turn comments off, or even block
Just do what ‘YOU’ want to do
Never feel pressured to do anything less
“To thyself you must be true”
There are an abundance of poets here
Who thrive on interaction and chat
They comment, encourage, support ,connect
Poets aplenty rich in socialising are here in fact
No judgement, criticism, negativity ,nor pressure should any poet face
Just a kind, caring and respectful environment on the whole
We are all unique and special individuals
Writing and enjoying poetry…..our united goal!
Insanity or Death
Life begins with insanity~~
~Your soul is kicking and screaming,
Ready to exit with the touch of human hands.
Insanity rides on a gallant stallion ready to pant.
Hides in the mind, mourning its captive soul.
Ready to breach over holding its breath.
Projecting in and out without a guide.
Bites away at the feast, enchants for freedom.
From the lips……….....
Taking length against a world of dilemmas,
Contrasting to a never happy end.
The epidermis cover every wall of insanity.
To live, to eat, and to suffocate it determination without air.
Dramatically hallucination against its will of no wells.
Until it realizes it can drink without water.
No further needs a slumber.
The mind-bends and unfolds to ordinary jolts,
When left to human consummation.
Insincerely bidding and cutting to die in the sleep.
Is how it pleads!
Graves where dreams have no meaning.
Caves where goodness can be redeemed.
A temple of misguided fortune.
All respect lost to this infection,
The patients’ weight distracted from an antidote.
The madness begins too finds admiration-
That makes catastrophe go on and on.
The psychosis of the mind and mockeries of them will never be gone
Dictating in everything wrong,
Layers of cramped bricks, level the isolation.
Death drags its feet off into this infinite helix world.
A source of light breeding out of darkness.
"Sanity is no friend of mine!"
Insanity is earth herself,
Where there is life, there is a reason,
Where there is reason, there is madness,
Where there is madness, there you are,
Feeling nothing………………...
Lost in darkness................
~Your soul is kicking and screaming
Life ends with death~~
(first I feared life, now I fear death)
The Jab
I am somewhat disenchanted by what I’ve seen and read
Antivaxxers believe the lie that soon the vaccinated will be dead
That our leaders are out to get us, dictating what we need
and will decrease the population by deciding how we breed
I’ve heard more twisted theories in my time upon this rock
made so much worse with rumors on you tube and tic tok
I pray that common sense will soon take hold of every friend
Covid 19 is NOT just another virus. Don’t let it be your end
Remember mumps, measles, tetanus and whooping cough
They were cured by science, not a de wormer in a trough
Think of polio, rubella, diphtheria, hepatitis B and A
Thanks to vaccinations, these diseases were kept at bay
This world is full of deadly germs, we make perfect hosts
Please listen to the doctors instead of any ill-informed posts
Life is short, so show respect for the time you’ve got
Think of others, not just yourself.  Now go and get your shot!
Premium Member 'that Missing Link'
One day after years of searching
for that missing link
he came along, without warning
he meddled with the barricades
I build...
The things I used to protect myself,
fragile me, all exposed
and yet
the steps we took healed us both...
Not realizing that every day
our dependence on others
for validation were being cut away
not knowing we were on a journey
of discovery of who we are
without faceless crowds
dictating our behavior...
I've learned to love myself
I've learned to love others again
without the fear of losing them,
I've learned to be happy
without being afraid
that something sinister might happen
we've grown together
and we have grown apart
but we are always in each other’s hearts
Even though we're miles apart
our paths have been cemented...
Connections remain even distance can't separate...
It's a friendship
 you don't ask questions about
it’s a friendship you nurture.
Not because you are forced to,
But because it’s the one thing
That has kept us centered
and made me embrace
who I really am…
I will always be thankful for you…
The My Way Highway
blind minions do not hear
deaf disciples cannot see
callous subzero frozen feelings
breed gibberish jarring jubilee
this bloody blind-eyed messiah
rode to town astride an ass
belching barking oratory
for an aimless lower class
a starry-eyed astrologer
alchemist extraordinaire
summoned shrouded quatrains
revealing he baffles with a flare
loitering lotus-eater
puppeteer par excellence
self-indulgent Machiavellian
pitched fabricated arrogance
adroit and ambidextrous
he summons the mercurial mass
conjuring decrees and fairytales
dictating his rules pass
lose not a bloodied hammered head
resign yourself to a running retreat
le guillotine administers
swift sweet and replete
no man speaks of that not heard
or sees that left not read
bony fingers point with indigestion
reflecting in fractured mirrors
Nomads of the Rising Sun
Nomads of the Rising Sun
~~a homeless home invasion~~
We are nomads of this earthly plain, dining with dust and riveting rain
Dancing with demons dictating pain, making stronger our ball and chain
Under siege upon night, undercover and cold, a blvd sign in city’s light
A penal colony in punitive plight, the surreal scenery of a selective sight
Our breaths keep us warm during the semiconscious soporific storm
Weathering away a contorted form, slowly scared by a slaving swarm
Hunger keeps us alive, descending decomposing death, will we survive
Sleepless nights in overdrive extending hands as they reach to thrive
Sadness creeps with the falling snow, tears drop in the moonlight glow
Kept company by a lonely crow, eating crumbs discarded long time ago
Depression dives in deeper, for I am your brother, are you my keeper
Wounded soul sleepless sleeper, don’t want to be a wandering weeper.
In Pursuit of Happy
They say that happiness is the key,
to the best things out of all that we see.
They are in constant pursuit,
of the mystery that keeps them smiling,
forgetting any bad they go through everyday.
They keep on searching,
running after anything promising a great journey,
through life as they try to forget all the dreary,
situations that befall on them constantly.
They seek to put out the fire burning,
deep inside their minds disturbing,
their peace and goals they strain achieving.
They seek the alcohol,
drinking it all down just to quench the thirst in their souls,
their beliefs of being happy lying at the bottom of a bottle.
The only cure they have prescribed in their thoughts,
taking the pain away block after block,
taking it apart till its no more.
Feelings of joy taking over all they do is smile, '
feelings of sorrow disappearing from deep inside,
they can feel it taking over,
eyes full of blood none left in their brains,
thoughts all gone they can only try to train,
their hands to hold firm the drink they placed their faith,
in order not to miscalculate their movement when dancing,
and end up spilling it on anybody passing.
Their feet staggering,
getting tired of lifting,
the body by every passing minute.
Alcohol meets blood now their minds are working,
yapping all that comes to their tongues no stopping,
no thinking just talking,
its exciting....
till the morning,
something is wrong his body dictating,
nothing feels right he keep on guessing,
looking around disturbed,
trying to keep his eyes from focusing,
on the light in the room curtains closed he is stressing.
His head throbbing,
too painful a feeling that thinking keeps him hurting.
Stomach running and that's what his feet are doing,
running to the bathroom to release whatever is corroding,
him inside such a horrible feeling.
Its unbearable,
sleep might cure it all.
Time is all he is losing,
energy is the only thing he needs to be gaining.
Dirty and hungry,
but the thought of food makes him worry,
he needs energy but not food, such irony.
The task left to the blood to detox itself, how funny,
that it keeps him alive and he fills it with trash,
is it worth it?
Does it really make him happy?
Is there no place to cast my eyes and look
Without the mug of the felonous crook
Ranting til he turns red
What was it that he said?
"I couldn't care less!" The attitude he took
He doesn't care if his tariffs raise prices
Obsufcation is one of his devices
Scooby Dubious is he
People are blind not to see
Vengeance is one of his many vices
It's Trump this and Trump that. Enough. Good grief!
Aleve, please. My headache needs quick relief
It's attention he seeks
With greediness he reeks
Dictator Donald:  Kommandant in Chief
Americans are rising in revolt
Some in the party have started to bolt
In scandal he's basking
And many are asking,
"How ya like him now, that dictating dolt?"
And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.Judges 14:18b
They plowed with the heifer,
A stranger of a day,
assigned from the pit,
to bring a Samson down.
She feigned false affiance,
with a mission so deliberate,
trans-versing vast territories,
to cage a man by Lust.
the disguise of a demon,
derailed a man on  mission,
suspending the vision.
The bargain was too costly,
her comrade the philistines,
pretentious while purloining,
hides in ambuscades,
dictating schemes to kill.
The captives now entrapped,
They kept their walled  territories,
inflamed the loose Cyprian,
for fleshy lust and greed.
Are you the man on a mission?
Oh! be not complacent.
The flappers surrounds you still.
Keep this emblem  on your chest,
Delilah is not a friend.
Three Wishes
Three Wishes
For I look thru yonder skies as three jewels catch my eyes
Three wishes come to prize cascading down celestial highs
Within the night I must decide a yearning heart deep inside
Wishing well upon the hillside before the dreams do collide
The universe I wish to keep being close in a quantum leap
Creating stars in just a sweep lifting veils of vastness deep
For my heart I wish to heal so my long lost love will reveal
No more sorrows to conceal thus vanquishing all that I feel
Heavens align just once more keeping me in their drawer
Dictating love from the core with angels & music as décor
A billion galaxies within my view as my love begins to spew
Now I start a life anew my last wish I have saved for you.
Premium Member Rhinestoned Buzzards
Some birds are sentries to the sky
others are earth or water bound
some bumble about the lifeless rye
others are cherubs of the clouds-
Some are regal and soundless
others tend to echo from the grate
dictating to others how to sing
while cawing and poaching eggs-
Some build nests of grass or leaf
sacrifice everything for their babies
some birds just play a mating game
then just as quickly up and leave-
I'm convinced most birds are heaven scented.
they uplift and enrich our lives
some are but rhinestone buzzards
plucking others until they're blinded-
Most fliers are garnish for the ages
some live to crap on liberty's bust
a few are fated for mental cages
birds are a lot like us-
Our Ship of Life
The unpredictable yaw of rolling seas,
as in life pummels us from side to side
randomly dictating its capricious ways
lacking logic the tossing grips us and seeks to take our lives
Death, like the ghost of Christmas past,
comes and expresses a tale of coldness and desolation
under the guise of light the dues it extracts from the living
accumulate like wrinkles on our faces the years pile on
The uncertainty of pandemics sends people into despair
mental frenzy engulfs societies
people wring their hands with worry
what happens if I get sick and lose my income?
At night I hear the sound of eighteen wheeler trucks rumbling
On the blacktop toward companies that make copious profits
past the foothills where coyotes cry nature's lament
exacerbating my approach to a precarious and worrisome future
Sometimes, I feel like a watermelon cut in half
exposed to the desert heat slowly drying up
or a taco at Christmas time or a paraplegic in a footrace
exposed in those places where I don’t belong
Leisure time for the working stiff is so elusive
yet now all I’ve got is time and plenty of it,
but there’s no leisure in it only worry
and does not give me needed rest
The yaws of life
seldom deviate from its variant course
but like ships at sea rising and falling in a tempest
our minds proceed at an ambiguous yet dangerous speed
With our hearts frozen in a delirium of past disappointments
they vanish the happy times into the ether of regrets
still we cling to those cherished happy time memories
when Life was more accepting of our youthful indiscretions
Our Ship of Life moves predictably toward an unknown horizon
unsteadily shaking us from side to side, up and down
like loose apples bobbing in an ocean
with our paths uncertain unfolding as we hold on.
FREEDOM
		Our freedom isn’t free, it came at great cost
		For us to be free, many lives have been lost
		Against the Hitler’s and Hussein’s of this world
		Men and women fought for freedom’s flag to be unfurled
		Throughout the history of this Great American soil
		Our freedom has been secured by blood letting toil
		Had we not been willing to make this sacrifice
		We would have tyrants dictating our life
		So when you hear the bells of freedom ring
		And the patriotic songs we all love to sing
		And when you see our great flag waving high
		Remember the ones who chose to die
		Remember the families they left behind
		No greater tribute will you ever find
		Then realize each night your freedom’s not at stake
		Because our military might is vigilant and awake
Now I Unleash With Rum Rage
You see I had lots of respect
NOW you are begging for attention
and a reality check, so try me,
Try me like satan tried jesus,
Your trying to unleash all that steam
but you only sound like a tea kettle,
you claim to be the rock of Gibraltar
but your only a pebble,
didn't your mother tell you not to play with fire,
now I must burn you for pulling this dragons tale ,
no one wants to hear your fairy tale, its very frail,
you can speak and speak until your face is pale
but flattering your self with your words is of no avail.
Keep checking your mail because karma is on it way,
I hope you can eat all that is on your tray, and when you
stuffed with your own hatred ,I hope you get on you knees
and pray, not every thing in life can go your way,
didn't history teach you that
dictating,
manipulating,
belittling,
lack of peace making,
heart breaking,
lack of loyalty,
unjust,
disrespect,
neglect,
self indulgence
hatred
lies
and bias
is not the way,
well I am going to teach you today
Adolf hitler ,
Maximilion,
Malcom x,
Martin luther king,
Rosa parks,
Allen Ginsberg,
Jesus Christ,
the little rock nine,
Mahatma Gandhi,
Fredrick Douglas,
Harriet Tubman,
Rodney King,
Elie Wiesel,
Sean Bell,
DOES any of this ring a BELL,
or your self you continue to smell,
are you still under the devils spell,
how DARE  you be unjust,
teaching a child like you is a must.
Your whole approach and appearance is stale,
but HEY
I guess you don't see that
because a donkey can't see its tail.
