Dependence

You’ve got a hold on me
And won’t let me forget
My need for you, arguably
Is as severe as needs get

I can’t see beyond
A me without you
Without my dear wand
What, ever, would I do

Would I succumb to death
Departing by choice
Or find something left
Without your voice

I have framed my life around
My days spent with you
I’d fall to the ground
If I weren’t subdued

Dependence and Independence

Dependence and independence
(Humanity verses individualism)
The independence from dependence is the soul core of human affliction
The disconnection of the soul, mind and body is equal to death penalty
But liaison of waters to the roots speaks of the strength of the tree
The harmony of man’s heart to mind speaks of his actions-the scuffle within
Though it is our perpetual battle to reconcile our flesh to our spirit
Because without each other-life will drown in meaningless- cataclysm
Ecosystem of human mind, heart, soul and spirit-could be the answer to all

The independence from dependence is the soul core of human infirmity
Reacting to symptoms, diverting from the cause-the pride of man to be self-god
You will always be a slave in one-way or the other; our only sights are effects
Illusive freedom like sinking sands leading to hell and high water-caused by smugness
Dwindling within the skin, veins attached to my flesh, red blood flowing through-
Simplicity in complex, the unit and dependence of human body within itself
The day a soul can function normal without a body– that is day of individualism

The independence from dependence is the soul core of human disorder
Individualism, gender equality, fatherless and motherless society-cause of disorder
At Jiffy when marriage because minority to money, and a child is raised by neutral woman
Governed by no marital cords, submission is for the weak so she says-money answers all.
She cuddles whomever her desires crave for, driven by passion without purpose – devious
Walking in the shadows of reality, covering shame with make-up, eyelashes, and artificial hair
Self-blinded, becoming self-demon, possessed by iniquities of Genesis 3-self-gods or becoming

Premium Member Independence Versus Dependence

I don't know what I want to write
But I will write about dependent vs. independent
As our nation is getting ready to celebrate the Fourth of July - our national holiday - Independence Day
I just want to take a moment to reminisce of what happened
and why it's so important that we shouldn't forget this day
We became independent from England through blood, sweat, and tears
So many lives have been lost then and even now
to maintain our level of independence that we now crave
We cannot afford to become dependent on any nations, least of all - ours
We have to depend on God
We cannot be sufficient on our own
God did not make us that way
The minute we say we are
That is when we fall
We have to remember independence means independence from bondage, ties, and restrictions
That is what freedom is all about
God gives us freedom
But He can take it away
If we are not careful
the only freedom we have is from ourselves
We can cultivate freedom
but unless we respect it
it wouldn't be ours
We have to respect the freedom of others
Give them a voice
So that we have a voice
We cannot give something we don't have
Just like they cannot give something they don't have
"Give us freedom or give us death"
You heard that before
It is so precious
We have to treasure it
And unless we know where it is coming from
We are never going to value it
It's from the blood of the men and women
who fight and fought for you and me
It's from the God on high
who is watching over us
We are independent but we are not independent from God
We are dependent but we are not dependent on other man
We will always be dependent but only to the one God - Himself
That is the way He made it
Take care and take heart
Independence is calling you
Rise up to the level He made you to be
"Free at last, Free at last, Thank God almighty we are free at last"
It's a quote from Martin Luther King Jr.
Are you free?

Complete Dependence

Complete Dependence

“God, the Master, The Holy of Israel, has this solemn counsel: "Your salvation requires you to turn back to me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me— The very thing you've been unwilling to do. You've said, 'Nothing doing! We'll rush off on horseback!' You'll rush off, all right! Just not far enough! You've said, 'We'll ride off on fast horses!' Do you think your pursuers ride old nags? Think again: A thousand of you will scatter before one attacker. Before a mere five you'll all run off. There'll be nothing left of you— a flagpole on a hill with no flag, a signpost on a roadside with the sign torn off." Isa 30:15-17 The Message

There are many who profess to serve God,
But rely on their own efforts to obey,
To form a right character
And secure salvation in their own way.
There’s no deep love of Christ in their hearts,
But they perform Christian duties anyway,
Thinking that by doing so they’ll gain heaven,
Because they’ve done the same always.

When Christ dwells in the heart
The heart is filled with His love;
There’s a joy of communion
With the Savior up above.
Self is forgotten in this communion;
The will of the Lord reigns.
Profession of Christ comes joyfully,
Without any formality or contrains.

Christ is trusted to change the character,
And repentance is sweet;
Pleadings for His work in the heart,
Each sincere soul does entreat.
Prayer and communion come naturally
And a song in the heart does stay,
Regardless of the circumstances,
That for most would dismay.

There’s sincerity of purpose
And upon Christ Complete Dependence.
Obedience comes naturally,
Rather than thoughts of compliance.
There’s no fear of failure
To reach the standards of heaven,
But faith in Christ’s robe of righteousness,
And salvation by Christ alone given.

Dependence

Drugged high, I watch and wait for your touch
Entrusting my life to you, your
Presence has become my essence
Existing in this space where only your face
Needs to be
Desolate, I lay shivering and sheet-bound
Expecting the cold breath of death
No power to move, yet
Caresses of your warm hand calm me
Escape is futile, still, in you I trust.

Premium Member Dependence On God

Soul in need
Yearns for peace
Christ grants love.

Faith hides fear
Doubts draw nigh
God's strength reigns

Heart with thanks
Worships now
“Praise the Lord*!”

*Psalm 118:28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

For the Life of Me

For the life of me
I can’t figure you out.
In another life we
would be the perfect couple.
Under different circumstances
we would be set for life.
As it stands now, though, we are
hanging on for dear life.
So, grow up, be an adult
and get a life.

Dependence

I miss you my little friends,
when will I see you again?
Sometimes I wish you were here,
other times I hope you never reappear.

Long pink pill, I take it so that I feel no pain.
Small blue pill that takes away anxiety, and I feel like I'm walking in the rain.
Round white pill that relaxes my muscles with ease.
You guys make every day seem like a cool summer breeze.

Until one day, no more Doctor and you're in a haze.
Your stomach hurts, in pain, and haven't slept for days.
Tired, cranky, throwing up and you feel like you can't take it anymore.
Hurting so intense, you think you're at Death's door.

When, oh when will I get insurance so a Doctor I can see?
I'm sick, and fatigued so bad, I don't feel like me.
I have never been addicted to anything, ever at all.
Seems like my body needs these though, so the clinic I will call.

Addiction and Dependence seem so close to the same thing.
A thin line between the two, so understanding is the lesson it brings.
I wish my body didn't depend on these strong pills,
but they do, so for now I'll have to cross these long, hard, bumpy hills.

Dependence Day

talk to me
i love your voice
i don't feel guilt
i have rejoiced

i love my life
i feel so good
my brain feels nice
my skull is strong

who could ever lie
who could ever lie
who could ever lie
who could ever

i want a house
a wife and kids
i'll get a job
i'll pay the bills

it's so easy
to have control
'cause that's just how
the world rolls

we're all gonna die
we're all gonna die
we're all gonna die
we're all gonna die

PARASITE

It’s a parasite’s world.
The worm of laziness
Clogging the mind,
Ego refusing change.

It’s a parasite’s world,
Seeping through one’s blood and breath.
Adoption, adaptation to change, an uphill task.
Ignorance, dark, deep, masquerading ugliness.

It’s a parasite’s world---
Where dependence is practice.
And excuses-- strategy, to design.
Deadlines met feverishly by others.

It’s a parasite’s world,
Where type of work affect quality.
Where comparison and perks galore
Stifling freedom, to create with responsibility.

It’s a parasite’s world,
Where, those who do and are willing
Get busted with jargon of abuse.
Euphemisms learnt and articulated.

It’s a parasite’s world
Where fear is fed with horror.
Where incompatibility and incompetency
Rule one’s hidden strength and power.

It's a parasite's world
where love lavishes in luxury
and 'Basic Instinct' given prowess
Suck out life from the 'highest of all species'.

The Dependence Hypothesis

Cut the chedder
World wide boom and bust
Economic cycles derived
From circadian rhythms
Making a corroded artery plunge
Into diabetic, catatonic comas

Companies that mine hormones
Sparkling that appetite reservoir
Congress will fund the model
Subsidies to the dirt and cheese
Feed lot arranged for meaty pleasure

Health stricken from the record
Drug money pays of the comeback
So get wise to the guise
The greed is still obscene
No unvarnished truth can belie statistics
We participate in the destiny

Claim you freedom and creativity
Consuming is voting by other means
For what is
And what will become

Premium Member Where Is the Sun

This somber morn
My heart weighs heavy
As clouds drift slowly by

As if stood up
Left at the altar
Where is the sun

Jolted
Such gravity
This joyless day

So intrinsically dependent
On the life force fireball
Up in the sky

How will I get through the day
Dare I hope to see the sun tomorrow
O yes, there is always tomorrow

Premium Member Dependence On Gasoline

The scene gets uglier each and every day.
Just pull up to the pumps at any gas station.
Have you recently seen the prices of gasoline?
Higher and higher, they continually go.

It costs a small fortune to fill up the tank.
Does anybody know the reason for this?
Do the oil companies care that this stifles the economy?
Most of us are too dependent on our autos.

Most of us are individuals who like to drive alone.
Many people don’t like public transportation commuting.
Demographically, we have moved away from the cities.
These factors contribute to our dependence on gasoline.
