Best Dearly Poems
Nearly Dearly and Still Sincerely
Was almost sudden true love nearly,
Yet still to death did love her dearly,
Then in a grove,
Found treasure trove,
Simply, apparently and so sincerely.

Beauty So Dearly Missed
small lake, calm waters
soft sunshine, glistening sheen
desk, chair, no window

Haiku,(What We Miss In Our Concrete Towers)
True love know no BOUNDS. Limitless, it jumps and tumbles rolling and there it lands.
I LOVE you true.
I love you right.
I love you DAY
I love you NIGHT.
I love you leaning on my sweet pear tree reminiscing, just you and me.
I love you as though I am compelling a love I am SPELLING If possible a few letters at a time and for your mind intricate design.
I love you long and yet longer still. Something MAGICAL about archaic sex appeal. As you cast your spell on me, I love you whole and strong til it tells on me appropriately. I love you as sure as romance sets sail more than dry winds WAIL.
I love you. MERE WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS.
These gloves are removed with proper HAPPINESS.
I LOVE you back and FORTH my FAIREST FRIEND
I LOVE YOU again
I LOVE YOU again
I LOVE YOU again
I recall, as I stare at you
Of the first time I noticed you.
I was far too young and naive
To notice what was underneath your weave.
Your dance, your shifts, your sway,
Came to my sight and got in my way.
Nothing compared to your gloss up high,
Illuminating the dark night sky.
Your sisters, daughters or whatever they might be,
A million eyes, all intrigued, observing me.
I gaze in awe at such beauteous sight.
Marveled, I wonder, do I have any rights?
I take a walk down the lane,
It’s such a shame I don’t know your name.
How to adore you? What words to use?
So many points against me, I’m afraid to lose.
There stood my silhouette opposite to your reflection,
As you performed your nightly ritual in the same direction,
It was then I knew, you knew I was there.
And ever since then you followed me everywhere.
So romantic were those nocturnal dates,
Where it was I, who drank the grapes,
Not a single word but so much said.
You were like a book I had already read.
As time passed by I began to age,
And your eternal splendor filled me with rage.
So weak and empty I felt inside.
This must be one of life’s twisted rides.
Finally the day I expected came to date.
I was waiting on my departure but didn't count on fate.
Totally unaware I flew to your light
And quickly past by you I went out of sight.
Oh! How could I have not known?
That your daughters or sisters were your back bone.
Long gone admirers that once held you in their goals
And just like me; had given up their souls.
The mystery of life oft demanding
Well beyond our Earthly understanding
Camera flash like a blink of an eye
From our birth until the day that we die
Time to grieve those that leave, inadequate
Unplanned plans demand that we have to wait
Sleep, shelter, bodies cry for sustenance
Life will not wait long for death’s remembrance
Memories like a breeze gently blow by
What or when, now or then, we don’t know why
So, forgive us oh dearly departed
Your memorial so short since started
We shall soon see the rest of your story
Reunited in white lighted glory

Loving you lady, is more than divine
You light up my life in a radiant shine
You gracefully go in the gold of the day
To follow the flow of a bold river way
Your lips are the dells of the wells that I drink
The pink in the blues of the bells in my sink
The sweet summer smells in the fragrance of rose
That rise in the swells of the scents in my nose
Your eyes are the orbs of my heavenly sight
They sparkle and shine with a reckless delight
They chill me and fill me with starlight above
They will me to see by the light of your love
The pleasure of you is a treasure sublime
A song that is new in a poetry rhyme
The measure of you is the change that I see
A will to be true to the man that is me
A radiant glow is a powerful sight
A star-spangled show in a shower of light
A rocket's red glare in a rosy display
The proof that I care in a crimson bouquet
The heaven above is a gingerbread treat
A leaven of love in a house we can eat
A devil's delight in the bite of a bake
A prayer in the fight for an angel food cake
The woman you are is a glory complete
A paradise won by the way you compete
A soldier of love on a mission to poach
The heart of a man who is hard to approach
Dearly, my lady, my darling, my wife
I gave you my love for a beautiful life
Your gift is my part and my power to sing
The song of my heart for the flower of Spring.
DEARLY DEPARTED
In the depths of loneliness
Deep despair in my lonely hour
A sigh of disbelief
To be of such importance in my life and leave without a goodbye
Left seeking for the love treasured
In my darkest hour the pain measured
Sharp jabs as my heart pounds heavily
Trembling lips as I moan hysterically
In a dark corner praying
No answers from above- HE has stopped listening
Curses to the above – why, why!
Tear-drop stains…
On this paper I convey with you no longer here
Greatly missed
Gone too soon
Words said but never cherished enough
Life is too short but never defined
Living without you…
A constant reminder,
I thought you said you would always be there?
In my darkest hour the sorrow I can’t bear
Memories linger on the times shared
Moments shared never to be re-lived
Before my first breath,
My first words, my first steps…
You knew me more than I did
Endured knowing I was not the same as the others
When others had two… I had you
A dark cloud cushioned with sorrow
My future bleak-shadowed
What now?
My hearts desire blemished
Crashing blow to the love cherished
Never to be forgotten
More than a mother’s love
When we meet again…
Probably the reason why you never said goodbye
Under this earth you lie
In my heart to stay
Dearly departed, thank you for being my mum…

He was one of those, you know, one who doesn't believe
That is the life he chose, so easy for the world to deceive
An atheist pure and through denying God's Glory everyday
A conclusion he drew without ever once seeking His Way
Well he got sick as next thing you know he ended up dead
Life is so very, very quick as already your youth has fled
Floating above as often heard but none of them could hear
For not another single word that reality had become clear
Then he was lead away by two as the fog became so thick
And then what they started to say the words made him sick
Soon they began ripping his skin..., yelling in pain, oh God!
This was judgment for all his sin and so shouldn't seem odd
But in the calling out of His Name the men just disappeared
So did all that blame as Jesus and three Angels soon neared
With his whole life laid bare before and told he must go back
This is not some folklore but the story of what so many lack
This man was extremely lucky as so we're all saved by Grace
He certainly did come to see but many never leave that place
Simply relaying a man's story who now has Jesus in his heart
If you know not His Glory, it will be too late, once you depart
We Dearly Love Our Children
By Franklin Price
1/2/2016
We dearly love our children
And Our children's children too
Our lives should be enriched by them
And by everything they do
If we think they're doing well
We should always give a cheer
And if we think it's not so good
To tread lightly should be clear
Our lives are what we make of them
And theirs should be the same
We should try to help and guide them
To succeed should be the game
Should try to wear their shoes awhile
To walk a step or two
See what their lives are all about
Before we say what they should do
Quite a precarious balance
Between a parent and a child
And as we each grow older
That balance really drives us wild
Then throw into this balance act
A sweet grandchild or two
And everyone within the line
Wants to tell the others what to do
This is when wise thinking
Can make or change our luck
We should put our minds in motion
Before our mouths can run amuck
Remember that to give a cheer
Always tilts the scale our way
But to balance other comments
Will depend on what we say
Think this thought before you speak
“Will these comments pass or fail?”
It's okay to tempt the balance
But we don't want to break the scale
Whenever They Perish We Dearly Feel The Loss
With heart of a lion and feet of a gazelle
are all condemning the torturing gates of hell;
faithful followers that carry the Holy Cross,
whenever they perish we dearly feel the loss,
yet within heaven they shall eternally dwell.
Their earthly fears behind them, gone is any gloom,
living in paradise above their earthly tomb,
each will find heaven's serenity sweetly calls;
magnificent the mansions, golden are their walls,
no longer worrying of Fate's impending doom.
With heart of a lion and feet of a gazelle
are all condemning the torturing gates of hell;
faithful followers that carry the Holy Cross,
whenever they perish we dearly feel the loss.

for Mahathero Gunasena
In a makeshift vihara in the heart of London
Bikku then disclosed his parents long gone
Might one dare utter after all these years
Was it yesterday he would shed dry tears
Somewhere in the saffron folds of his faith
A lonely boy still lurked wanting his mother
Or brother sister and hope-dislocating father
Of how they could abandon even his wraith
Just a single line in the inner board of a book
Over dried blue ink his fingers caressed words
A life he might’ve had in who knows what worlds
He just wanted to say: ‘See, who so forsook!’
In an unwatched vihara in the heart of London
A forsaken boy dared break out of monkdom
Might one dare utter after all these years
Was it yesterday he would shed dry tears
Too late he had come to own up this truth:
‘If there’s a Supreme Being leave Him well be
He knows best what He’s doing forsooth
Mind your own business leave Him well be!’
Should one gauge the measure of a man’s humanity
From his ability to outgrow imposed attachments:
Such as confines of his community race or country
But most of all withstand the viral encroachments
Of his conditioned beliefs upon his own personality.

I remember the day I met you I looked in to your eyes, I had thought what a beauty she was and that she was mine.
Forevermore she was not the only one she was one out of four and then again,
I looked in to his eyes so for evermore I will always love those fifty fingers and fifty toes.
Then again, I looked in to twenty eyes for which they are my bundle of joy. I can say I love to hear all those hundred toes and hundred fingers roaming around me so sweet and dear.

raised,
aware
of silence
in the red-eyed night,
morning likewise in quietude
until the incessant dirge of Poe, the bells bringing
down the house, and in the garden, an eagle…
…throws its wings around the tombstone’s shoulders
One day, after there is no more air to breathe
All we remember will be a promise made to each other
My love against time, only my body it'll defeat
It wasn't the Father of life that called me, blessed be the mother
On a whisper of nature we leave our treasures to another
I hope that by thinking of you with my last sigh
All I take with me is the believe in my mind that 'I got her'
Dear, my early departure doesn't mean goodbye
Smile for me and don't let a tear slip neither eye
My sadness is not leaving, but leaving you behind
That is why there is nothing I would like to defy
More than this moment that you deny with all your might
Dear, I thank you for the winters that you covered me with your summer heat
And I'm sorry for a Fall that withers but I promise to bring Spring next we meet
