I shall delete my existence says the dead man
	No more do I breathe
	No more shall I rant
	Although often I recant

I shall delete all my poems says the loud hen
	No more am I here
	I shall disappear
Like a child with tuque over head

I shall rescind my tantrums says the dead man
	No more death for me
For it was plainly to sobering to be
Back to pen, oh so hypocritical of me

I shall come back using other names says the Hen
No more logical than the other dead man
I am the judge of the poetic world
The laws must be according to childish wee me

We the little men who bicker and whine
We are united, our immature prettiness shines
The poetic soldier who mocks old ladies
Does he not know tiss he who is insanely crazy?

The crow will squawk his cranky banter
The songbird will fly to a more harmonic tree
The Hen will cluck and twitter and rant
All the McVillians with feathers it seems
Flocking together, oh the birdbrains do scream!

You a Dead Man

Okay Father, nice talkin to you…
WOW fellas, last meal too huh?
Well, thanks but no thanks
Been readin up on my Shakespeare
and that “To be or not to be” guy?
I kinda identify with that dude
Cause I DO be right now
but in a couple of hours
I AIN’T gonna be, so---
it seems I’ve lost my appetite…
(I COULD use a drink though)

Small and Extra Large Loo

ma viewed her old man in a helpful mood
her sweetness turned to a fiery storm brewed
a two sitter for the loo
his and her tush fit for two
extra spicy will simmer in his food

Fred cut two holes in the dunny
His poor wife didn’t find it so funny
The HUGE hole for HER rear
Now filled HIM with fear
She could drop him in poop so runny

(Dunny is an Australian word for toilet)

By: Jan Allison 11/20/2016

Ma clenched her fists in anger when she saw
the two toilet seats constructed by Pa
he made hers entirely too large
then said her butt's big as a barge
Ma's in jail for murder~she broke the law

Papa was a sweet pleasing spouse
He built mama a new custom outhouse
One look was all it took
She caught him with a left hook
Widening the door all it took to rouse

By: Sonny Roper 11/20/2016

Nothing beats a good wooden throne
A two seater I’d really condone
Oh to share the sound of the plop
From things that tinkle and drop
I fear the wife, would rather go it alone

By: Mark Woods 11/20/2016

I have been ordered to renovate the loo
so my good wifey can go for a poo
the hole I cut was so large
as it had to fit her ****
Oh im in trouble now, what a to-do

By:Stephen Pennell 11/20/2016

Before Dad could reach the pit,
my enraged Mum took a fit.
The seat as we gawked,
made into a wooden stalk.
For my poor pitiful Pop.

Premium Member The Dead Man Whom I Kissed

I am free as a bird
Ready to discover this wondrous world
I am dressed to the nines
Seeking a knight in shining armor

He will be handsome alright
Defending me from life’s lows and sorrows
I shall be his flower, ready to be plucked
Oh my petals shall lust for his kiss

The big city a delight, as I shop all night!
As I gaze upon the handsome men all over
I am hopeful one shall take my hand
So they we might begin a lovers journey

Night time jazz, clubs filled with hazy smoke
Man after man after drink and nothing of substance
What’s a pretty girl to do?
Another night of blackness and no shining black knight

So off I wander to the city park
The lush smell of green filling the air
There is a graveyard up over there
A promenade among the dead

There under the moonlit sky, is an old man
His hair all white, his dress somewhat wrinkled
He seems to star into nothingness
Ah but his eyes are clear blue like the ocean true

I am abashed yet I stare into these crystal blue eyes
Something stirs from within me, yes I see as clear as day
The kindness and compassion within this weathered old man
I lose my breath, this is foolish for I just know somehow, I know I know

I walk up to him, and kiss him on the lips as I should not
This is not me, yet I know this is exactly me, I just know
He looks with sadness, and says simply "I am a dead man, from long ago"
I kiss him once more and say “I will return three days hence and we shall see"

Three days later, like a statue he stands stoically still and almost in fear
I take his hand, and whisper, life is full of miracles
We have no time to lose, I see into your beauty and I see into your pain
Hold me and love me, I am yours completely, in the falling rain

Dead Man Walking

“Dead Man Walking”

Feeling as if my life is an object that is kicked, torn, separated, squashed
Pieces to be formed into one object, always missing the one piece needed
Eyes searching for the treasure map for the one piece to make me whole
Hands holding up this frail body that leans to the side while the search goes on

With a brain that seeks comfort and a soul that seeks peace
With memories of how much of a loser I have been during my struggles
With this feeling of never allowed to just be one piece instead of many
I fall to pieces again unaware it’s no one’s fault but my own

With the struggle of being me I find it hard to just open my eyes
With eyes wide open it means I am still breathing with the struggle of being alive
Wishing the demons that live within me would just take me as they have tried
I close my eyes once again praying that when they open they will be staring into the eyes of God

Today I will conquer my fears and inability to want to breathe one more day
I will stand tall and figure out the rubix cube and unscramble the many colors
I shall hide these awful feelings I have of wanting to jump into the depths of hell
Instead I will walk the path of another dead man walking

Dead Man In the Curtains

Death hides in the curtains as it creeps upon you in the night.
May it find you at your strongest, as it always finds you at your weakest.
Let it come fast like a thief in the night, and let you be blessed.
Death watches over you in the mist of the night!
May it watch with kindness and dispair, as it holds its dagger back.
Let it come slow like the last drops of blood come, and emotionally
Death is here and its wakes you desparetly in the early morning.
May it take away all happiness and sorrow, and let it be fast
Let it be your last, as the dagger of love and temptation,
as it drips away your last few seconds of life.

Unconscious minds, perpetrators of pain,
oblivious to karma they accrue,
continue their feral sadism insane,
until grazed by the magnetic bliss dew;
then love enabled ~ destiny soul drew.
We are insentient to inner light,
being what we are, aglow day and night,
for free will’s chosen not path of wellness,
falling from grace, yet feeling not contrite,
shrouding luminescence of blissfulness.

Silhouette of a Dead Man

If I die before I wake I pray to god my soul to take. But if the living have fell and
gone. The tables are turning and my soul is torn.

So how can sorrow and scorn be formed by the tears of a shadow when a death is born .

Follow the wealth giver the death dealer is here.

Between the space of a blink and a tear.
Beneath the hopeless, the tired, the weak.
Beneath the faithless, the fate missed time’s speech.
But as this dead man keeps screaming he’s born.

His silhouette keeps trying to morn…………..

Dead Man Tells No Tale

17-05-2017

They say dead man tells no tale but I say he does
He's like an artist who picks up the mike
And sings any song he like
He's six feet under but his voice
Tells a tale he's written
Just listen attentively to what he says sadness and rapture
Reflects all over his picture
Because dead man does tell tales if chance given

Premium Member Dead Man Hanging

There's a dead man hanging near the chapel wall,
from a rope tied around his neck.
They say he got what he deserved,
his life was such a wreck.

He took a life that was not his
despite the consequence.
They caught the guy red-handed
though he denied it then and hence.

The judge laid down his gavel
when the jury spoke their sights.
It wasn't long thereafter that
the preacher gave last rights.

The choir sang, the people cheered,
a father wept with joy;
found comfort for his anger,
though it won't bring back his boy.

The man was put up on a stump
for all the town to see,
and as the flaxen chord was drawn
I saw him look at me.

His hollow eyes and empty soul
revealed a hardened man,
and gave me pause to wonder
when this tragedy began.

He could have blamed his mother
or the bully at his school.
He could have blamed most anyone
believing such a fool.

Regardless of the reasons
that a dying man would give,
the reason he is dead today
is how he chose to live.

Dead Man Walking'

Took my newspaper down to the cemetery last week,
Set up my soapbox and I commenced to speak.
I read to them of bombing overseas,
An article about the discovery of a new disease.

I read of a robbery on a downtown street,
And a tale of the homeless with so little to eat.
Told the folks about the wall street dive,
And how the local sports team is finally coming alive.

Of five new babies born just yesterday.
Then I read a notice for tryouts for the high school play.
That there's a big sale on jeans at the mall,
And the fact that three local teens had answered their country's call.
Do you know how they responded there?
SILENCE' It seemed that no one cared'
Some of the entombed had died in the war;
A few mangled wreck of a speeding car.
Pestilence had claimed the life of several others,
And abortion had separated babies from mothers.

The grandiose markers show who had enjoyed prosperity,
While other inscriptions speak of integrity.
Many simply grew old and had passed away,
But, once in the grave, none had any more to say.

Be they saint or be they sinner,
Not one could arise and go home for dinner.
The events of my world-oh, so wearisome to me,
Have no effect on a dead man evidently.

So what good is worry? What profit in fear?
I am crucified with Christ and He draws me near.
In Him I experience Heaven's greatest delights,
For I'm a dead man walking by faith, not by sight'

Dead Man Walking- Inner Shelter

key rattle, chain rattle, a keychain rattles
hanging from my wrist, it sways back
and forth keeping time as i walk.

keeping the metronome and sundial
disk near to me, nearer to me still is
my life so precious to me.

 now cyclones of hardened gravity
pull with cement fingeres at my shadow
 and grasp at my skin.

crumbling sidewalks...epi wrinkle , dermal sigh.

 holy seperation....

  a little warmth mixes
in with the thin sleeves of my body.

 returning back again into
 the aged cellar.

where the timeless sinews of the heart
 shelter every visiting creation.

Hope For a Dead Man

"stop playing silly games , Your pain is my delight
this tree is where you’ll hang, I plan on that tonight

you it gave your all , you tried to fight
but darkness has it’s grip tonight

your shadow hears but won’t reply
cause it’s only there to watch you die

hold your breath, it might just snag
the very little life you ever had."

Do not believe these voices.

Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the lord and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Dead Man Walking

I am still alive but am not living,
My life is gone am just existing,
Am still in shock am barely breathing,
Waking up from this dream is all that am wishing,
But this is the reality there is no escaping,
The chains, the bars, am slowly rotting.

I was not a good person that I know,
My life was a circus and I had the show,
I was high never wanted to be low,
The pride I had could never let me grow,
I preyed on weaknesses just like a crow,
Now am beaten all I have is tears as they flow.

So my last words are to you my pearl,
I know it’s too late to say what I feel,
Just know that my love for you was real,
I wrecked you, gave you wounds that could never heal,
Then you were happy, it was him that I had to kill.

I remember the man I killed, your boyfriend Lance,
Everything was so fast like an accident in a race,
I thought you were fooling around looking for romance,
But you real loved him that’s hard to reminisce,
I know you hate me, I can feel that in a distance,
I wish I could see you but I don’t stand a chance.

My life on death row has not been so good,
For 15 years I have been eating the same food,
Living alone in a cell I don’t even know my mood,
My senses are dull I can’t tell plastic from wood,
Am gonna be executed tomorrow yes! Yes they should,
I wish I could change things..!!! I wish I could.

Am gonna die alone my grave with no name,
My whole life has been meaningless and lame,
I was allowed visitation but no one ever came,
I’ll be erased from existence like a burnt out flame,
Nothing new ever happens every day is just the same,
So am just here waiting for the walk of shame.

Am a dead man walking living my last hours,
I wish I could see you before facing my fears,
To know how you look like, it has been 15 years,
I imagine you with a family happy in many colors,
And you have forgotten me, though that brings tears,
The imagination brings hope as my mind wonders.

All I real need is your forgiveness,
Am sorry for bringing such darkness,
Am sorry for I was so heartless,
Am not fit to be human I was so reckless,
In another life I will give you the happiness,
I will make you smile for you will be my princess..

A dead man

Golu was 3 then, on our way to school, he gave me directions as I drove, saw one man lying motionless in blood pool, he could easily make out the man was dead.
"What's dead I can now tell you mom" he said. I was curious to know his thoughts. He told me that as the tyre goes flat when it deflates since air is gone, the body will lie still when all the blood is gone. Appreciating thoughtful concepts of my bright little kid, I told him that there was more for us to be dead, and the air in mention was actually the parting soul.
As the tyres go flat, he now firmly believes that the soul must have left.
