Premium Member Spring Petals Kissing Dawns Air - a Collaboration With Charmaine Chircop
When miserable clouds assemble,
bursting with drops of sorrow,
gusts of torment bring dark tides to your door.
You feel hope is like forgotten pennies,
lost at the bottom of a wishing well.

Arrows of anxiety keep firing
at your muddled mind.

When you feel trapped inside your head,
monsters lurk inside -
take...

Silver shimmers
   reflected by the sea
When dawn kisses each
    silhouetted tree.
As sunrise pierces
    fleecy clouds of blush
A canvass bides the
    eager artist's brush.

Our Banyon bids adieu

Springtime Dawns
Springtime dawns

Springtime dawns
just beyond
the screen door,
across the porch
Dew swept lawn,
emerald weave
shimmering moisture
collecting foot prints
strolling towards

an arched entryway
gingerbread trimmed,
covered in jasmine
alive with rainbow
flutters, prismatic
butterfly wings
partaking of
nature’s pure nectar

Beneath it a
flagstone walkway
abstract stones
assorted shapes
and patterns
meandering through
lavender and hollyhock,
daisies and tulips

and upon it
you and me
hand in hand
watching the...

Two gardens meet in the mist
Both gardens sublime in beauty
One called, the past
And one called, the future
And I . . .

Climbed the lichen covered wall
The ivy hidden wall
That divided . . .

I left the garden of the past behind
All the lovely tangled...

Premium Member It Dawns On Me
========================================

I wake up next to no one right at dawn
to check for late night texts that don't exist
The paperboy throws news toward the lawn
and moves on, even though he knows he missed

I (yawning) fight to brush the blues away
but when I touch my eyes, I...

Dawns Arrival
As the morning carries different bird song
My body stirs from its cozy slumber, begone
Aloft to the mountains volcanized hard crest
Dark clouds beat upon its jagged green breast
Then raindrops fall down in a long mighty yawn

The sun fights back to bring on the silvery dawn
So full...

Remembering Sweet Dawns And Verdant Greens

When rose-covered days grace thy waning years
thee hast great courage to face thy great fears;
summon up thy treasures by mere thought
celebrate past life for love, all it has wrought.

Remembering sweet dawns and verdant greens
gems of youth and wonders found in...

There is no now in yesterday
Let your yester fade away
Day defines the dawning of the way
Seize the now, seize the day
Now is the way for today
Yester defines that which is gone
Do not stay locked where you don’t belong
For there lies the garbage that blocks your...

Dawns Angels
In the shower of dawn's
Slow daylight, kissed by
Angels locks, there came
A wave of bird sounds,
Then barking crafty fox

And I in nature’s orchestra,
Amid the fusty scores, the
Sound of waking voices,
Pushed slow through leafy doors

Then carried these across
The plain and back by echoes
March, not stopped...

Dawns Hope
New day dawning.
New crowns anointing.
New stars fixing.
Startled pointing.
Amusing excuses, thinning disguise.
Soon morning stars will vaporize....
