A poets dream, she'll seduce with her eyes,
pens will desire to praise her charming guise,
but be cautious, she'll treat you like her book,
explore each chapter with her detailed look.
Drain your ink, smoking pages in to fire,
drink your spirit like blood thirsty vampire.

But now it seems she may have met her match,
a poet who's heart, she's struggling to snatch.
He holds scriptures, she's never read before,
each musing, leaves her yearning to feel more.
A heart breaker, who gives no man a chance,
dream maker, who leaves women in a trance.

A modern day Samson and Delilah -
spiritual soulmate who could tame her.

God made human beings into man and woman
And adorned them - gems into a gorgeous garden;
Never coloring them into white, black, or brown
His image, he poured into them, in-mold golden...

Humans created all casts, colors, creeds, and sects,
Filled the earth with injurious impurities;
Each looking another as suspicious objects,
Thus marring the beauty of God's priorities...

Realizing - sin against each one - ugliest
Human beings need to remove the filth in them;
Outlooks on persons and events must be honest,
Each human as precious as the Kohinoor gem...

When the law and the legal system is racist,
Who would citizens ever approach for justice?
Having not condemned the legal system fascist,
Could the system not ever care for the rustics?

People who oppressed are uniquely qualified,
Speak on behalf of other oppressed of the group;
Victims of racism and cruelties that abide,
Need exclusive interference of legal troupe...

And thus, may inequalities be wiped away,
May everywhere human cause and humanism thrive!
Everything that hinders human growth may give way,
To love, fraternity, and liberty to live...

Critical Slam

Capital of Culture
Come gather the vultures
The Ultras
Pro choice
Who reverberate to the sound of critical voice
They seed that which is worthy to read
Robotic mite's of the proverbial art
They play no part in writing
Reciting guild's of old
They make or break
Jack or Jill
And what will fill
Or fits the bill
Of this year's manic street preacher's
Rights of passage
Managing critical mass
Appeal of form the itch doth scratch
Like pink roof insulation
Under which the heat sealed in
The roof of logic would otherwise dissipate
Bated by the common collective
A studious Prefect of a high school blazer
A self of superiority created
Peers did not give
So they live spuriously out a sense of insecurity
Revenge cast on the scar's that last
Into adulthood
So they seek popularity
Revel in the power
Putting down allows ya
Residing on an Ivory Tower
Of golden showers

Critical Thinking

(15/09/2011)

Being criticized never tasty
But in critics, we need to be greedy
Improving personality to add ability
Since opportunity nowadays meeting scarcity

Critical Thinking

To whom are we responding?
All bad news for desponding,
Someone's editing all this stuff,
Media and worldwide web, that's tough,
Let's examine the motivation,
Feeding us their manipulation,
Read and listen in bewilderment,
Assess the agenda in amazement,
You want us to believe that stuff?
THEIR motivation and manipulation, that's tough.

Premium Member Critical Mass

It takes a critical mass
to keep a culture alive,
I once heard someone say.
Ishi was the last of his tribe
and whole civilizations
have come and gone.
The tipping point comes
when you lose your way
or someone takes it away
from you.

George Washington,
for all his faults,
understood what torture was.
Tecumsah killed his own warrior
for torturing a white prisoner.
Our Bill of Rights was written
with an empire's abuses
in mind.

Once, these things were understood,
and despite our faults,
we were proud of who
we tried to be.

A people and its leaders
not outraged by our abuse
of others rights and bodies,
and even of our own,
has lost its critical mass
and become everything
its founders feared
that we might become.

C R T- new theory now embraced;
demands set forth by those defined as woke-
dividing races in a way disgraced.
Most people feel this theory is a joke!

This avenue will set us back for sure;
erase the gains we've made for racial peace-
negating Martin Luther King's allure
in claiming unity's the centerpiece.

Now white supremacy- a label made
to punish those for sins of long ago;
erasing history- and now be swayed
to live life on a feigned guilty plateau.

The comforts of Democracy- now wane
with acts of violence that rise each day;
no price to pay- the guilty move again-
reak havoc with no mandates to obey.

Racial unity brought equality-
each race or color got an equal chance.
Now, equity defines disparity-
supports unequally divided stance.

A country, split- appears to be the goal
our leaders, press, and big tech now push for.
Democracy- their foe against control;
most fear a Marxist future they explore.

I know so little of this theory, so
I go to Wikipedia. No help!
I'm reading how it stems from Marxism, and
the struggle of the classes throughout time.
So next I search for tenents of this theory.
In doing so, I'm finding things like this:
how White Supremacy will always reign,
so students need to learn of "action" civics
instead of civics taught traditionally.

I look up "active civics" and find words
like "civil protest" (also "violence").
I find opposing views of it which state
that in the schools today they're teaching hate!
I see some parents now sometimes on Facebook
dismayed that basic civics is ignored.
Our processes called constitutional
are being put behind this "action civics."

I think about the violence I've been seeing
and of old monuments that are torn down;
police, so sorely needed, now defunded;
the silliness getting rid of slogans
deemed racial slurs; the censorship of books
like certain ones by author Dr. Seuss!
I know the process of the Constitution
has not been too great; rights were slowly won.
The problem -as I see it - was the fact
of individual prejudices.

Eventually, after freedom's decades
(the fight for Civil Rights 50's through 60's)
and since our culture then became accepting
of gays, we saw laws made to turn the tide!
I think I must agree with parents who
have great concern about curriculum.
I know discrimination still exists,
but we have seen great strides since Rosa Parks.
I do not like where I can see us heading.
I'm reading quotes of blacks who feel the same.
Today are many interracial couples.
In thirty years from now, we'll all be brown!!
Let cultural awareness take the helm.
Teach love -not hate - and leave our kids alone.

Critical Thoughts

The more they plan and promise
The more they fail
The poor are distant abyss
Dream is a nail
Drive it deep, and deeper yet
Nail them to sleep
Less waking they will forget
Their word to keep

The horse shoe flies now away
The serpent hissed
Victory is a far day
Venom for bliss
Something to wear wrinkles out
And keep faith young
The war endures courage rout
Where is the throng?

They say poverty isn't choice
But attitude
Feelings that turn men to mice
With vision nude
Did you see the condition
That triggered fear
And wilted men's ambition?
Nail it, my dear.

A nailed dream is sleep's soft cess
What I must know
What are governments for? Less
Pledged, less to show
For my submission and restraint
If they forget
The army too in fight faint
Will tell regret.

The yarn unravels unseen
Among the poor
The suffering in bright green
And wormy core
The compact considered twice
Each wince of pain
And nowhere the sacrifice
Just us, love stained.

Critical thinking is science at work,
not hasty indictment with cynical smirk.
Start by collecting data and facts,
   then analyze, synthesize, hypothesize that.
At final judgement to general position,
evaluate sides for the best supposition.

           Apply reason when testing
           Check facts to the letter
           Challenge your choices
            From good to much better.

We Are Living In a Critical Time

we are living in a critical time
a time of no peace
a time of wars
a time of tribal wars
a time of fears
a time of worries
a time of isolation
a time of hate
a time of no unity
a time of ignorance
what a time
a critical time

we are living in a critical time
a times of no moral values
a time of doom technology
a time human are finally
toned robots
a time of shadows
a time of control
a time of lies
a time of manipulation
a time of illusion
what a time
a critical time

we are living in a critical time
a time of no love
a time of intimidation
a time of devaluation
a time of no joy
a time of depression
a time of poverty
a time of crimes
a time of inflation
a time of ugliness
a time so short but long
what a time
a critical time

we are living in a critical time
a time of media
a time of capitalism
a time of slavery again
a time of silence
a time of protest
a time of suffering
a time too far but brutal
a time of nemesis
a time of fake hopes
a time of scary realities
a time of deceit
a time of corruption
a bloody time of man slaughter
what a time
a critical time

we are living in a critical time
a time of illness
a time of poison
a time of evil chemicals
a time of selfish egos
a time of greed
a time of evil politics
a time of revolution
a time of uprising
a time of natural disaster
a time of no pity
what a time
a critical time

Premium Member Vast Variety of Race

Civilizations used white to mitigate the lack of black.
Black is not just skin color but also a human spirit.
Imagine indigenous people having red skin plaque!!
While things seem disastrous, it is just painted on it.

Civility will be total only If all races are treated fairly.
Thus, do not squander your life if time runs limited.
Not the same as 1960s; CRT has no sign of diversity.
CRT prep does not contain a notion of finitude.

Light exposes everything in some way or another.
The sight of a wacky mind is preferred above others.
Superior words develop at the moment they recover.
There is no compelling reason to blame our ancestors.

Nature will piddle it happen if she so discovers.

Life develops for its own durability.
Shaded Earths mutate regularly.
To preserve impartiality, we should be blind.
For exploring, notice the hues of parental rind.

Our fragility leads to family growth progeny.

It is plausible to identify prominence.
When do we have complete awareness?
People are forced to crack without food.  ?
Without the deemed necessary mood.

CRT is a crucial forerunner of our world's drooping.
And we're all equal; all have the endowment to evolving.
The modern age is replete with hate; thus, let's end it.
Let's not fail to renew forgiveness to the world's past.

Premium Member Wrongthink-Rightthink

Wrongthink is any think
You might do on your own,
You know, in the vastness
Of your inner space
As cloud trains drift by
Morphing into shapes
As fanciful as you allow.

Rightthink in contrast
Is mind control from without
With nothing fanciful or free allowed,
Just dogma and doctrine
And all the usual stuff
That makes thinking a chore and bore
Leaving us free to accept
Whatever it is they say we need to know.

Rightthink becomes our think
When we have lost touch
With what it means to be free
‘Cause being free
Means not knowing what might come next
As cloud trains pass
And shapes morph
Outside the boundaries of our mind.

Looking at the world
In a kaleidoscope of color
Vivid and fleeting
Every shade filled with hope of bliss.

Laden with heartache
After ages of pain and grief,
Uncertainty of a 'forever'
Glancing eerily at me,
Heading for a breakdown that I would never succumb to.

Leaving behind yesterday and its bitterness,
Orbing to a height unreached
Violently fighting to kill the catalyst that motions the meltdown...
Ever after in your eyes... Love has conquered my critical circumstance.
