I"m getting rather faint again
I don"t feel well at all.
My back has gone,my legs both ache
must sit in case i fall
Scurvy,swine flu,measles mumps.
I must have had the lot
I even broke out in a sweat
whilst i was in my cot
The doctor calls,he doesnt care,
Just looks at me and smiles.
I grimace back in pain, not joy.
I"ve just sat on my piles
The end is nigh, and thats a fact.
Of this i can be sure.
My epitaph will surely read..
They couldn"t find the cure
Can you listen up to my heart beat
Or is it the beats from that beat?
It's the radio,
Then it goes on gently
Yes, like a long thin snake
Where uuh, where huu!
Could be... couldn' t be
Could be my heart is beating like the radio,
Snake! Beat into bits,
Where huu o, where huuo,
I can float easily or deep in underwater
Like gold fish of the pacific,
Just like Titanic
It surges and lush gently,
Can i go and speed in a car
And feel the beat carry me higher?
Not me if i were you, not me
Should i...should n't i ?
Whether i am sleeping or playing
Work and awake,
Not me if i were you, not me
If i fall down i will stand up myself,
Just as if i am drunk with the beat
And dance like the Go go hit,
Go steady and slow so gently,
I have seen the bride dance perfidiously,
Take care buddy, take care
Have i...have n't i ?
No one is called we have come
Herself! Mixed and missed,
Take care buddy, take care
It dwindle...it dwindle and it dwindle,
Something or some one is sounding so blissfully,
It is sonic groovy,
And is off the wall hit
And it bade encore
All through the evening,
O! Michael, Michael's legendary is like Michaelangelo,
Singing and dancing all through like a yoyo,
It's that beat of bit of a change of face
Could made you lose your grace,
You have painted the face with colourful-colours,
Exposed to the brush and erase that smear on the nose,
You adjusted the thrilling lips off the *****,
And the eyes have they tune up to lustful glare,
The cheek o! so Da Vinci's Mona Lisa, that! cheeks
You were infamously infuriating,
So provocatively humanly bad
You were endearing to the last,
In toto, you were a king of the whirlwind,
In tete, you were the prince of applause,
And tata, you were the sire of controversy,
You were... the messiah of all possibility,
You were... the song personify,
The melody in the throat of a trumpeter,
And the soulful largo largesse of a crooner,
It dwindle...it dwindle...it dwindle...
Then sefini
Tata.
Mum really likes her Moggy.
The cats her pride and joy.
I swear to God it"s pampered,
much more than US her boys!
The cat it understands this,
and goes out of its way.
To suck up to my Mother,
at least ten times a day!
It really makes me jealous,
so much i gotta mention.
That cat gets on my wick.
Commanding Mums attention.
So i devised a plan,
to get a little pay back.
The best form of defence
is to go on the attack!
A family "DO" was coming.
It really made me think.
A chance for some revenge.
there"s gonna be some Drink!
The big night it arrived.
My plans were put in place.
I acted all polite,
angelic round the face.
The Party in full swing.
I borrowed Gordons Gin,
and poured it in cats bowl.
The one beside the bin.
I added the full cream.
The cat could not resist.
He lapped and lapped relapsed!
By now he was well pissed!
He threw up in the kitchen.
He threw up in the hall.
My plan was on its way,
he was heading for a fall!
I lifted Moggy up,
then opened up the door,
and promptly put him down,
upon the living room floor.
He staggered round about.
It really was a shame,
poor old Mr Moggy,
he was really out the game.
My Mothers jaw just dropped.
As Moggy took a pee,
in front of all the guests
atop the new settee.
Yes revenge is best served cold.
What else can i say.
Poor old Mr Moggy,
it just was not his day!
I said the first thing in my head.
I know it was a sin.
But i couldn"t help but say,
"Look what the cat drank in!"
Never in my world have I had anything to fight for, but you
I've been through hell and back only if you knew
We kept our relationship on the down low
We snuck around so that nobody important would know
We had our moments, were goodbye seemed to long
Even if it was for a minute, it felt so wrong
You left your dad, ran away for a night
Had your godparents worried, and your dad at fright
That was the turning point from good to sour
Now were done, and I feel like I have no power
I cried myself to sleep, woke up with tears
Couldn' beleive it, thought it was a nightmare
It was just reality, it didn't want to sink in
I'll always remember way back when
We cruised around, listening to tangled up in you
Knowing every word was beyond true
What do I do now, where do I start
I gave you my heart, and all you did was tear it appart
You were my strength, that guided my will
You were the pain taken away without the pill
Now your gone, what do I do, what did I do wrong
Do I turn to the bottle, hit up that bong
Im at lost for words, never felt so worthless
but I have a lot to confess
I would do the same for you, Leave out all the rest
Just to show you my love, and how it will never be A test
My fate, Is you, my love is true
without you I'd die, my world would be blue
I'm not loosing my reason to try
I wont give up unti the day thatl I die
It's you I need, and I know you need me
One day, you will know, and be able to see
I will rescue you, even if I have to go through hell
Its you I need, Its you Danielle
You and me belong together
no matter the day, no matter the weather
Through stormy skies, and blizzard like conditions
Always remember, our loves mission
He pledged not his love
N more happy she couldn have been
For love is more than jus pledges..
Love is a breath of the unseen!
Days many, too many, flitted past..
Unmarked, uncelebrated, an unspoken of affair..
She walked the tormentous streets of Silence
So wistful an air, so proud and yet so fair!
Then came time to an algid still
Twas time come, to wade away
Thru waters untame, untimid n cold,
N all when there was so much left to say!
PARTED LIES THIER PATHS...
Two souls, caught unawares in the aphrodian web
The aroma locked up deep, deep, within..
Yearning. Yearning , n yet too proud to let out the ebb!
She could have looked back,
n CHOSEN TO THWART A BECKONIN FATE
But she! She walked the tormentous streets of silence..
N in cruel withering dignity, did but wait.
He yearned no more , but a smile, wistful n meek
A smile drunk of cupid's unsurpassable foolhardiness
Differences forgotten, hearts rent asuder..
Moments when murder was loneliness!
Pain did her wistfulness rule,
The smile melted into the parting
As roads drew on, uphill, ahead..
Memories.. All mem'ries that defy Time's calling!
Numbers
In Oslo there was
a woman who could not
say seven.
At the butcher´s she asked
for six pork chops
and two more.
But that is eight.
Right!
She did not want to give
the impression
she couldn´t say seven.
Our journey got paused
I insisted to the passengers
Let’s sleep on our way
We got to the Ibadan garage 1.05am
Then, we move on ‘morrow morning
Dissenting voices echoed diverse views
I offered to alight at the park
Couldn’t put my life at risk
Some of my co-travelers concurred
We paused at Abuja Park of Ibadan
For its of it good to be late than be a late.

My Pa warn't much for music,
Not like ya hear today.
Them tune he learnt and taught me,
Were from a bygone day.
But Saturday nights were special;
At least they were to me.
Cause that was when we'd play them songs
I learnt at Daddy's knee.
Bald headed as a cue ball,
A grin from ear to ear.
He'd hum and play, and out would come
That music I'd revere.
He'd plunk his old five-stringer,
I'd make my old blues harp sing.
Ole Blue would start a-howling,
Till you couldn?t hear a thing.
Then Ma sung "Rock of Ages"
Her voice was pure delight.
The cats and dogs got terrorized,
And ran off into the night.
We'd continue our commotion,
Then really harmonize.
You knew the blend was perfect,
'Cause there'd be tears in Papa's eye.
Them old songs, sad and poignant,
Would soak you to the bone.
You could hear an old train whistle,
Or feel the chain gang moan.
Stooped right there with the slave man,
As he toiled out in the sun.
Or I'd sense the wild Missouri,
Watch it ripple, see it run.
We'd walk streets of Laredo,
A poor cowboy in the dirt,
His last request while dying,
With blood caked on his shirt.
Special words and music,
At least they were to me.
Sad old songs, just known to us,
Learnt there at Daddy's knee.
Well, Pa's been gone for ages,
Though it seems like yesterday,
When we would play together,
The world would flow away.
There's night your mind just wanders back,
On how it used to be.
So long ago, in simple times,
And the music at his knee.
I'll grasp my old harmonica,
Now cracked and full of rust.
Then squeak and squawk a couple notes,
And soon there's only us.
Out'a nowhere comes the fragrance
Of heady mountain dew.
Smoke rolling in an old wood stove,
As it dances up the flue.
As I fall back to Laredo,
The chain gang hammers ring,
I Taste dust from Georgia cotton fields,
As my harp begins to sing.
And then I hear his banjo,
I sense his presence near,
Oh God, I loved this music,
That only I can hear.
While in my head we're playing
And truly harmonize.
It must be close to perfect,
Tears mist my weathered eyes.
Again, we play together,
Just like it used to be.
For only I now know the songs
I learned at Daddy's knee....
(Eliza strokes the door. A thought is visibly pushing through her mind)
Eliza: I think...I want to know.
Martha: How does it feel?#
Eliza: There''s something there. Right behind it. Someone. Pulling me.
Martha: Eliza...why are you here?
Missie: Oh stop prying. She''s just gonna leave soon anyway. They all do.
Eliza: We tried for months. Toby and I. You know, we never quitre fit, and I always thought that a baby would be the glue that we needed to fit us together. A little kicking screaming ball of glue. And when I fell pregnant he looked at me like he loved me, genuinly loved me, for the first time since I had met him. People held us like we were real. Held me, like I existed. All fat and full and real. Four months. That''s all it lasted. It ended in a pool of blood on the bathroom floor. He did his best, Toby. He held my hand when I cried...for a while. Tollerated me lying in bed for days on end...for a while. He just didn''t understand.
Missie: You mean he didn''t care. Look, the guy didn''t want a baby. God, move on already.
Eliza: I tried! But we weren''t right. We didn''t fit. Just going through the motions. In the end we were juust faking...we both knew it. We were off to my brother''s wedding, big fake smiles painted on, and I ended up here.
Missie: He sounds like a right catch...
Eliza (deffensively): Yeah? And why are you here? You don''t have enough compassion to mourn, let alone to be a mother.
Missie: I didn''t have a kid. I had a cyst growing under my school shirt. An ever expending mistake, for the whole world to see, so fat I couldn''t see my own feet. I found the thing parents. Soppy freaks like you guys. You know, people who would actualy give a ****. And the ungrateful thing stripped avery inch of life from me. Died and took me with him. I was forteen. Fourteen. Tell me how that''s fair.
Eliza: Do you know what''s not fair? I wanted, needed nothing more than a baby. You drop your nickers in some dirty nightclub, get given this, this gift, and you want to give it away! That''s what''s not fair.
(Martha hasn''t seen such confronation in fifty years. She pulls Eliza away from Missie)
Martha: Eliza, give her a chance. It''s all front. She''s not as awful as she seems. She''s sad. Just like us.

Tuesday I´ve looked in my kill list, but couldn´t find
anyone to drone today, yet had time for the betting
shop and won ten euros on a horse called Abdulla.
In my trunks only, I went for a scooter drive; country
lane a woman came out of her dwelling and crossed
herself, yes I look like an overcooked vanilla pudding;
but no need of her to throw pebbles and set her
poodles on me. Why do I end up in the wrong places?
Once was waiting for a bus taking me to Garston and
it was raining; I have forgotten what I was doing there,
I remember a black woman who gave me a sunshine
smile and rain stopped. Still Tuesday and I have no
assassination list ready only memories of a life where
I was torn from the mother oak, drifting in the wind
We got trapped for seven hours
We couldn’t un-trap ourselves
From the dungeon of the road
Couldn’t call or receive calls
Was indeed incommunicado
Sim card got stuck
Would we ever get to our destination?
She got fed up, endlessly waiting
Luck smiled on me briefly
As I got through to my cousin
Who told her of my trap
My sms met hers on the way
She was still very worried
Only short of being scared
The day crawls by gradually,
Hours tickle away slowly
Behold! Darkness hovers
As it took over the day set aside to unveil
The faces behind the phone
The day was over.

THE Big Con of a Peace Prize
And there they are the leaders of EU receiving
a prize they do not deserve, the only thing they
have rescued are banks and the people are
paying the price. I´m listening to Barroso, he who
abandoned the premiership of Portugal when he
was offered better paid job in Brussels and left
the country to its own devise.
Millions of unemployed people lines stretching
for miles, Barroso says everything is fine while
Tucking into caviar when not speaking f Europe
in a fake upper class English voice and sounds like
a servant, of a big house, with great ambition.
And now they are brining, in Kosovo, a gangster
led country to complete the skullduggery .
the EU is a capitalist construction that gives them
security to exploit people. The people of Europe
have been betrayed by their leaders and I know
when a man speaks with fork tongues the game is
up… a democratic EU is a good idea but it has
been betrayed by the elite…the prize giving in Oslo
is a disgrace, they couldn´t even stop the war in
the Balkan with US A´s help. So let them dance when
Europe goes hungry.
Her sandy brown hair was all a mess.
Ice cream stains upon her dress.
Sitting on the curb of a no parking zone,
Appearing scared and all alone.
She sat silent, but tears filled her eyes.
My heart couldn?t ignore her desperate cries.
I knelt beside her, placed my hand on her arm.
I am here to help, I mean you no harm.
Where is your Mother? I softly said.
She let out a sigh and lifted her head.
Her angelic voice quivered, ?I do not know.Ó
She was just here a moment ago.
We came from the store when I dropped my ball.
I went to run after it, then I heard her call.
?Stay out of the streetÓ so I stopped on the lawn.
When I turned back my mother was gone.
I looked all around, there was no one in sight.
We will find your mother, it?ll be alright.
I will take you home, do you know the way?
I don?t know my address she began to say.
Can you describe your house, what color is it?
It?s yellow and white next to a big gravel pit.
Thank goodness I knew the house she meant,
I took her by the hand and away we went.
Walking a short distance, we could see her house.
This sad little girl became joyful and rouse.
She burst through the gate, her mom waiting there.
The woman only reacted with an empty stare.
She was totally oblivious to her daughters return.
I approached the woman with great concern.
Excuse me Ma?am, but are you ok?
?I lost my daughter just yesterdayÓ
She ran after a ball, but I yelled too late.
A reckless drunk driver decided her fate.
We bury her Thursday, then she let out a cry.
?Why dear God did she have to die?Ó
I couldn?t believe my very own ears,
Nor could I hold back my heartrending tears.
You may not believe me, but I just have to say;
?I was visited by an angel todayÓ
I could never explain the why or how.
But I can assure you, she is with you now.
Together forever, never will you part.
As long as you keep her within your heart.
Broremann, the farmer worker.
Every morning at five thirty sharp, my brother Broremann
had to milk five cows by hand bring bucket full of goodness
to the scullery where maid sifted it and in a churn it went.
He had to start milking Rose first, she was the mother cow
other cows wouldn´t give milk unless he started with her.
After milking Broremann had to clean the barn five cows
make a lot of dung; he pushed it down in a hole in the wall
it was later used to fertilize the land. My brother was proud
of his ability to milk and his hands were, firm yet gentle.
There was a problem though Rose didn´t yield as much milk
as before as she was getting elderly and the farmer sold her
to the knacker’s yard. It was a sad day and the other cows
mooed woefully. The farmer bought a new cow to take Rosa´s
place, but Broremann couldn´t milk her first, as she was new-
comer, so he started with Gerda, now the oldest cow, and milk
the new one last, thus rural peace continued in the cow shed.
Dear mom and dad, you told me I was your treasure
My heart quivers to ask you, why did you leave me to break under the pressure?
A worthless, wretched, withered flower, that was I
Nonetheless, I always did my part
I dreamed of your embrace, wished for a little praise; yet your groans and snide remarks
Only shattered what was left of my heart
I was an dirty, filthy mattress, in desperate need of cleaning
Struck with wooden bat, each night, as i'd yelp
Your scoldings, your beatings, your old leather belt
It hurts to say, they never really helped
Dear lover, my love was true
It hurt to know, love was just a game for you
My heart was a mere counter on the board
It would suffer turns and turns just to get to you
My veins were the lonely pathways
My blood still reeks of all the sorrows you've put me through
You left; as i struggled to survived with all my might
You left; with nothing but a shoddy rope and a rusty dagger by my side
Life is a prison
All doors shut tight, each moment I become less and less sane
There only ever is one escape
I never wished to stop living, I only wished to cease the pain
Tonight, as the clock strickes midnight
My foot will caress the chair, I'll count till three
I died a long time ago
But tonight, I'd finally be free
Goodbye, beloved, father and mother
Thank you for letting me die, thank you for not being aware
Signing off, Yours truly,
A descendent, a progeny, a lover, your worst nightmare
Such effort to write, when you wouldn't even read it, would you?
Pools of blood splattered on the floor, your ugly heart falling out, you couldn't watch as you disintegrate, could you?
Scraping your eyes, tearing your throat while you scream silently, motionless on your bed
After all, one can't really be convicted for murder when the murderer is already dead
