immersed,
         alive to God
this gift by Him,
              eternal life:
to trust&
walk in the Spirit
                      free
from the law
        of death and sin:

sanctified
          at liberty
                 within
the riches
            of His grace:

working through love
a promise
           of life
at peace
              saved
and raised:

to sit
      together
         in a heavenly place:

with every spiritual blessing
then
      to
           fall asleep
                            in Him
  the Christ

this truth in this poem inspired by scriptures in the letters of Paul to Romans/Corinth/Galatia/Phillipi/Ephesus/ and Timothy

Hello

HELLO
Hello.. Adele, It,s me
Could you please stop calling me all the time
I don't know about England
But in USA that is a crime

Hello.. Adele
You're in California dreaming
About us from long ago
But right now I'm the beach
With my new girlfriend in Trinidad and Tobago

I know you're sorry and you're missing me
And you keep calling cause you're feeling sad
But if my girlfriend sees and gets your number
She will call you and curse you up real bad

Hello from ste madeleine in trinidad
I'm standing by my front gate
I know you miss me and its breaking your heart
I know you're sorry but its much to late
Much to late

Hello Adele !! Could you please stop calling
I'm at "NAZ CUISINE " in Corinth junction
I'm with my girlfriend and we're celebrating
THE west indies beating England

Hello from Trinidad and Tobago
This long distance charge is very high
So I'm just calling you adele
To tell you goodbye goodbye

You had your chance but you blew it
Now you want another chance at it
But if you don't stop calling
I will call the police then you will deal with it

Hello ..adele .. Are you still there
Did you understand what I'm trying to say
If you keep harassing me
I will change my number today

Hello.. adele ? ...It,s me"Why are you calling
it,s so early in the morning it's only quarter to four
I know you,re heart broken and You're hurting
But you have to understand I don't love you anymore

I know its hard to get over me
When you remember how we use to be
When you Trimble in my arms
In the moment of our ecstasy

Hello ..adele...You call about a thousand times
At least I know how many times you tried
But it's time to put down the phone
How many times must I say goodbye

Hello ..Adele ...My girlfriend wants to talk to you
She said after all these years why you still want to talk about everything
She said "if time heals all pains
Why you're not healing

Hello ..adele .. Now you,re gone and get my girlfriend mad
Don't you know "Trinidadian women don't like no woman calling their man
Now she gone to buy a plane ticket
To come and kick your A** in England

Hello from 2nd street in Trinidad
I try to stop you .Adele .yes i tried
I'm sorry Adele.but im changing my number
So this our final goodbye .goodbye
Time to say goodbye

A Christmas Girlfriend

Santa whats wrong with you
did u forget me
Why is there no girlfriend
Under my Christmas tree

You know I been a good boy
Didn't give any trouble this year
So tell me where's my gift Santa
Are you still flying in the air

Last year I ask you for a girlfriend
To spend my Christmas in trinidad
But you said I was misbehaving
So you only give one to my brother Azad

Well .2015. I was at my best behavior
You could ask my friends on Facebook
I didn't post not one bad word
Just go on my timeline and take a look

Christmas is almost here Santa
Just one more week to go
And I seeing so many nice single girls
Shopping down in San Fernando

And its so hard for me to choose one
Because the beauty factory in Trinidad never stops
It keeps producing nice girls one after another
The whole country is like one big candy shop

Last year you didn't bring me a girlfriend
Cause you said that I was very bad
But my nephew junior was on the naughty list
But still he has girls in San Fernando, penal and fyzabad

So just jump in your sleigh Santa
And come down to Trinidad and Tobago
And don't worry about that big red coat
Because down here we don't have no snow

santa i know you will like trinidad
and you will want to stay right here
cause you don't like the other countries
its why you visit them only once a year

This is the land of the humming bird
steel pan chutney soca and calypso
And the most beautiful women in the world
You will see where ever you go

So this year you promise me a girl
To spend Christmas with me
To open gifts with on Christmas eve
And cuddle under the Christmas tree

I want to wake up Christmas morning
with my beautiful trinidadian queen
and i will take her for breakfast
up in corinth junction by Naz Cuisine

So Santa don't waste no more time
Cause I'm waiting under my Christmas tree
Just work your Christmas magic
And send a Christmas girlfriend for me

You know that a Trini Christmas
Does have a party every where
Trinidadian like to have their parang
With rum,sorrel and Carib beer

And when Trini cook up their nice food
They does always like to share
So bring a Christmas girl for me Santa
And come and enjoy Christmas down here

Premium Member I Hope, If Nothing Else

Should anyone hurt you with cruel words or deeds
And there is no one to lean on for comfort

I hope, if nothing else...
You seek refuge in my outstretched arms
And feel the cozy warmth of my caress

Should the North Star mislead you as you follow it
Faithfully, and you eventually end up lost

I hope, if nothing else...
Adiona guides you from the dusty road
Of nowhere to your desired destination, or back home

Should we depart the shallows, and the ebb and flow
Of the tide erase our footprints by the edge of the shore

I hope, if nothing else...
The cauldron of memories we left there
Keep boiling over for eternity

Should you fail once, twice or many times
Like Sisyphus pushing a boulder up the mountaintop

I hope, if nothing else...
You keep trying, again and again
Though he never could, you eventually will

Mythological references:
Adiona is the Roman Goddess of safe return
In Greek mythology, Sisyphus or Sisyphos (/'s?s?f?s/; Greek: S?s?f??, Sísuphos) was the king of Ephyra (now known as Corinth). He was punished for his self-aggrandizing craftiness and deceitfulness by being forced to roll an immense boulder up a hill only for it to roll down when it nears the top, repeating this action for eternity.

Earlier in the day, dipped
into a little Thucydides,
and revived my memories of
Corinth and Corcyra.

Alliances and duplicity,
trophies taken and lost,
innocents slaughtered handily,
for revenge,
and thoughts of Syria
and Fallujah came to mind.
Things in THAT part of the world
don't seem to ever change.

Watched a piece on road rage,
recently,
about tailgating and cut-offs,
and stop sign stand-offs,
families killed in cross walks,
bicyclists crushed and
carnage sometimes for miles.

Ending with a well spoken
man in prison orange
who said he could do
nothing else, but
accept a single digit challenge.

Whose only regret was
that he had.
been there,
at the time.

Ode To Whats Ben Lost

Ode to what’s been lost

Discarded Protocols and broken treaties
that were of our past
what things we’ve lost and might not gain again
why no one spoke or took refrain

We had come so far to keep us sane
we had a compass to keep us steady
to make it clear what’s right and wrong
why or how we’ve turned away
I do not know but hurts us so

What made us great and stand so tall this was known to all
but now we’ve changed and lost our way
from black abyss behind its summit peak
tortured in the name of terror behind a dying flame
who we are and how we’ve changed this must come at last

We must decide and hold our egos pride
we must ask what were going to be
men of Sparta and of war
or democracy freedom and law

Words can loose their meaning and shrivel up and die
when there turned upside down
reframed for plunder destruction and fear
how can we be clear

I saw her columns crumble Corinth and Doric
a little of the world was lost its heart light beats low
and saddened nights in somber days of grey

In spirit they beheld though grief and joys were few
to go against the wind of times blinded by the sun
or in the spirit they beheld will memory fade away
or set a new of a destiny yet seen

We have experienced a lot in a short period of time.
to consolidate meaning from experiences and be open
to finding our way, try to be objective and critical.
truthful to feelings within oneself and expressing them .
to share them with others can I hope be healing

Dimensions of Love

I thought to analyze this basic stuff
that is existence...taking love apart,
identifying every alias
that I could name.
There was compassion and humility;
there was romance in all its ages,
and upon its fringes lurked desire.
But that must now be cast aside as faithless,
though there was compulsion deep within--
that may not be denied.

My vanity in such an exercise
was clear enough, although there was a man
named Paul who wrote a letter to his friends
in Corinth--could as well have stopped it
just as greatness loomed
to crown his song about a word,
for with unconscious eloquence
he crowned himself with need of nothing more.

Old Paul knew how to say unlovely things
and seldom held his tongue,
but in this thirteenth chapter there emerged
the poet's saint, a mortal's dawning of
creation's mortar--quintessential truth.

In those post-lightning years he was no less
irascible, but bore within himself
an overflowing heart sustained by that
one ineluctable constraint
that holds us all together in a spirit sea.
                     ~

On the Road To Delphi

tourist, because of
the sacred bay
of corinth
is charged
with aluminum;
at the crossroads,
almost visible
oedipus waits
Have an offering ready
and a sacrafice
you may ask
one question
be spacific
the answer has always
been the same
look for it
among the broken stones
under your sandal
or in the unbroken light
of the mediterranes sky
and remember this:
virgins were said
to be unreliable
so they chose a priestess
a woman of certain age
by the moon
your flesh is the color
you are at that age now.

Originate Our Original Originality

The truth lies between the pages
Within the relationship the reader journeys through
The thoughts that silence and call you
Truthful relationships with all we go through
Bleeding for me
Bleeding for you
Hearts that become two
Brew it up and make a stew
Piece it together, dancing duaL

Trial and error we all walk through
But not without hope
Within Jesus Salvation is due..
A gift given for free
For those that believe and seek the truth
Man cannot rule.man
So let your father step through
Those commandments became apart of me..
And you

Temptation of U

" No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is
faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. -i Corinth .10:13

I have a question:
What if you do not want that temptation to go away?
What if that temptation is you?
When I see you,
I am tempted to let my hurt feelings from the past go.
When I speak to you,
I am tempted to laugh and express my intimate thoughts to you.
When I think of you,
I am tempted to bask in the sweet memories
that we have spent together.
When I hear your name,
I am tempted to smile and tingle all over.
When I see the light of God that radiates from you,
I am tempted to let my light also shine.
Sometimes when I lay in bed at night,
I am tempted to pray to God and ask him to protect and bless you.
When I think about how you treat me,
I am tempted to bless someone else
I guess what I am trying to say is that,
You make me tempted to love...

What kind of pet did Harry bring home?
Not from Alaska, Italy, Corinth or Rome
Massie and mastadonic, my mama said.
But aren’t all wooly mammoths kind of dead?

Hi-Choo

Hi-Choo

Early spring in Corinth and I’m bathing in a pollen shower as fuzzy green seedlings are whisked here and there in the blustery March breeze, I sneeze!!

Remnants of last night’s thunderstorm cruse across the pale blue canvas of the afternoon sky as pine cones fluttering in the breeze make me sneeze, I sneeze, I I I I sneeze!!

Even the old crape Myrtle, pronounced deceased years ago, is budding and basking in the evening glow, her babies preparing to become leaves, and I sneeze sneeze sneeze , I sneeze, I sneeze

As you can see
        Pollen damn near
Got the best of me
But let me catch
my breath
                           and finish my soliloquy

Old Magnolia, washed in Nature’s seasonal offering, regain their forest green state, after a brief bloom, branches swaying with ease and I sneeze sneeze sneeze I sneeze I I sneeze I sneeze

Wew!! Hi Choo!!
