These Eyes Have Often Been Solaced

These eyes have often been solaced

by twilight's cotton candy pllows moving silently

towards a sky's velveteen blanket

and angels'silver gowns

By gazing over hills

to where old country church bells

and crickets play harmonious sounds

These eyes have often been solaced

by honey coloured shadows

pouring moonlight zest

across the rose plum of my cheek

By little antique lamplights

which illuminate my soul 's dark cobbled street

By winds carrying sea-salts to a fragrant golden sand

By tides washing out corals to a distant land

These eyes have often been solaced by your return

to this vacant room inside my heart

By the hush hushed whisper of your voice

By the embrace of your arms

By the way you love me

By the way you need me

By the way you want me

Like an autumn bonfire

 before next sunrise'dew fall

By the way you lean on me

Sing Solitude-Play Soltude-Confetti's Song

Hidden away
between the broken chimes
of church bells
lies the dream of a man
the waltz of a butterfly
and love for one woman
He carves her name from a star
on a pebble~
burying it deep
where corals sleep

Across the moon
wishes concieve
from moist salt on his cheek
in the womb of an ocean
ocean so deep,ocean so dark
dark as the night in his soul

Hidden away
between the broken chimes
of church bells
lies the dream of a woman
the soft breeze of a petal
and love for one man
She paints his smile from a rainbow
holding it high ~
where sunsets splash
in the sky

Across the moon
wishes concieve
in the womb of a desert
desert so steep,desert so dry
dry as each crack on her lips

Hidden away
between the melidious chime
of church bells
lives the love of a man
lives the love of a woman
where oceans meet
where deserts greet
where stars collide
where dewdrops fall
Lashes caress
the dream in their eyes

Play Solitude...Sing...

The Sea-Man's Return

Swept away
the last colour
of sunset,
Ocean in his eyes,
winds and waves
the sea-man loved.

Forever gone
the late-song
of night birds,
crushed corals,
sand and rocks
the sea-man loved.

Blown afar
the harvest seeds,
Flowers in his heart,
Petals in bloom,
Pale-pink blossoms
the sea-man loved.

Found and lost
the light of stars,
Alone He sailed
through narrow paths,
to mountain'shadows
the sea-man loved.

In hope to smell
the scent of her hair,
In hope to wipe
rain off her lips,
In hope to taste
her roasting- chestnuts,

to mend regrets
with just one kiss.

To my enemies,
cloaked in t w i n k l i n g topaz~
I’ve become immune
to your illusive m a n t r a s,
recited in roseate refrains.

I’ve learned to see
the vermilion
     f l o a t i n g
between venomous
pigments of
psychedelic sunsets

For life is a whirlpool
     of uncertainties
slithering through
l o o p h o l e s of adversities
We waltz through
h i g h s and l o w s
while masked foes
orchestrate a
a circus embellished
in emerald s p r i n g s

Yet, I f o r g i v e
your i g n o r a n t skies,
unable to grasp
the vision of loyalty
You’ve long been
preaching in
verses of lyrical lies,
soaring above
catastrophic canopies~
draped with my
sentimental s i g h s
this conscience remains
constantly crippled
by the ecstasy of
poisonous promises~
served from
diamond chalices
once upon
   a blood m o o n

There’s still
a pearlescent
shore for faithless
footprints in the
island of h e a l i n g
in the marine bed
of softness
  that f l o w s
beneath seething seas,
there I’ll sculpt a
lagoon of
  p r a y e r s across
fire corals that
  f l i c k e r
in tints of
  lethal lime green
As I allow aquatic
pearl ruffles to ripple
through weary waves,
they become the
sacred v e s s e l
that unveils
   hyacinth stars,
when your heart is
as dark as the
eclipsed moonflowers

Tonight, I’ll rewrite
the poems I’ve woven
from golden arrows
that assassinated
the alliterative tranquility
in sinister silence
within my inner psyche

In the journey of revival
I’ve mastered the art
of wearing pain
like a crown of
thistles and thorns

I’ll forgive you
amidst unspoken apologies,
and e r a s e the
a c h i n g colors
within greying rainbows,
behind your
  soulless eyes.
For, I can feel the
insecurities r u s h i n g
through those veins~
longing for an empathetic
empire that
serves you
  k i n d n e s s

  So take these metaphors,
make them yours,
ink them across
  your s u n l e s s canvas,
and r i s e beyond the
   demons that lurk
as shadows within
    your a r t l e s s heart.
   May the light of twilight,
correct your insincere intentions.

Premium Member Pearl of the Orient

Donning splendiferous landscapes stretching for miles,
A culture that aptly prides, in bold, welcoming smiles;
A thriving land of islands~ an archipelago evincing awe,
A resplendence of nature, an exclamation of hurrah.

Sandy beaches embrace realms of pristine coastline,
Harboring lush foliage, embodying sublimity divine,
Of marine life, corals, reveling warmth of idyllic clime,
Reminiscent of paradise, of placidity, stilled in time.

Fun loving, amiable, proud tradition extolling grace,
Quaint, yet modern, is the vibrant vibe of this place;
Of museums, antiques, art galleries, buzzing cafe,
Of hotels, casinos, of famed sunsets on Manila Bay.

Luzon, the Visayas, Mindanao~ gems of the blue sea,
Living in tranquility, projecting utter beauty and glee;
Islands of hospitality, homeland of a privileged few,
A magnificent portrait, upon sea-canvas nature drew.

Philippines~ an acclaimed, lauded, pearl of the Orient,
Rich in diverse culture, her allure citizens augment,
Pulsating rhythms of hearts and souls, worthy of praise;
A treasure preserved, revered since the ancient days.

These Eyes Have Often Been Solaced Ii

.
These eyes have often been solaced by purple hues of twilight dust

moving silently over my life ,Sprinkling pure bliss from an edgeless painter's sky

These eyes have been solaced by gazing over cedar scented hills

By soft lulling sounds of water from rustic Tuscan mills

These eyes have been solaced by Composing stars that waltz in silver gowns

above old village 's church bells , and crickets 'harmonic sounds

These eyes have been solaced by honey nutmegged shadows

poured from luna' s tangy crest across my rose blushed cheek

By little antique lamp lights , which illuminate my soul's dark cobbled street

By winds carrying sea-salts to unwalked settling sand

By tides washing out corals from a distant land

These eyes have often been solaced by his return

to this vacant room inside my heart

By the calling of his arms that held me from the start

These eyes have been solaced by the way he loves me , by the way he needs me

by the way he fades away,Like the last bonfire before an early rain

By the way He stirs old embers inside each burning flame

By the way He leaves , by the way He turns, to lean on me again.

These Eyes of Mine

These eyes have often been solaced by twilight's cotton candy pillows

moving silently towards a sky's velveteen blanket and angels'silver gowns

By gazing over hills to where old country church bells

and crickets play harmonious sounds.

These eyes have often been solaced by honey coloured shadows

pouring moonlight zest across the rose-plum of my cheek

By little antique lamplights which illuminate my soul's dark cobbled street.

By winds carrying sea-salts to a fragrant golden sand

By tides washing out corals to a distant land.

These eyes have often been solaced by your return

to this vacant room inside my heart

By the hush-hushed whisper of your voice

By the embrace of your arms.

By the way you love me...

By the way you need me...

By the way you want me...

Like an autumn bonfire

before next dawning dew fall

By the way you lean on me.

“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” - Jon Kabat-Zinn

Time has an interesting
way of revealing
riveting narratives,
embossed within ivory
clams in raven letters,
perhaps, it is the
crippling kismet,
that dahlia dreamers are
shackled by society’s
sanctimoniousness,
but I still follow my
roseate heart to swiftly
lead this pristine paragon
of moving minutes.

I can hear the wanton
wolves devour the
magnanimous moon,
transcribing unheard
nocturnal tales, emanating
through deep russet
eyes of a silent stallion~
as I leave poetic footprints
through heels of a black
caviar horse by
the nacreous shoreline.

Someday, the sun will rise
and allow me to embrace
colors of you again,
although torturous tentacles
of marine monsters malevolently
try to steal the soothing hope
within my soul,
from a thousand seas away.

If only they knew, skies
can reach beyond
prancing peacock dreams
emblazoning distant horizons,
with a plethora of
milky quartz, perfumed
in whispers of lemongrass,
reflecting silvery echoes
of a cosmic whale’s conch shell,
floating in an ancient bottle
of antique emotions,
anchored to the depths
of bottomless oceans,
where corals have
our fate rewritten
within chambered nautilus.

So, wait for me when
twilight dims, and meteor
showers come crashing,
to pour blazing stars
upon lime green planktons,
for my soul is surfing
through aquatic realms,
to find my homely
sanctuary in your arms
glossed in lavender balm,
I breathe beneath seraphic spheres,
devouring the ticking seconds,
dancing to the wind that whispers
in trembling tunes,
unafraid and unshaken
by the unknown.

I live in the moment,
celebrating the air that wraps
me in wisteria warmth.
The sun-soaked stairway
 to porcelain
 peacefulness,
is to steer your heart,
through the art
  of mindfulness.

Premium Member Orchard of Dragonflies

The sky scatters pixie dust~
across orchards of dragonflies;
while in sunflowers, the stars do trust,
tracing tales through kohl-lit eyes.
A fairy cloaked in soft florals~
fragranced moon-mists and rhinestone rust.
But within veins of golden corals,
she weaves hope with saffron crust.

Premium Member Summer's Invocation

                 Sunset's Invocation

At day's end, with the fan struggling to turn.
The sky, all corals and blues, so tired of the sun's incredible burn.

The mystic message I always see,
Is that I am a part of the land and the deep sea.

In the distance the seagulls speak to me.
"Fear not, poetess, the best is yet to be.

Life is but a limited edition.
Before you, is an eternal life" was their admonition.

So, as I see the session of night come waltzing in,
I decide to be part of this earthly spin.

Night bound, writing, serene I lay.....
What a blessed way to end a great sapphire day!

Premium Member The Unrolling Expanse

Staying on a promontory, I watch,
The wobbling mass of water below.

Before my eyes,
The sea stretches far;
An infinite scroll of chiffon,
Rolling and unrolling
In shades of green and sapphire.
In its sedate hours of brooding silence,
A calm expanse with feeble waves,
As if seized by an uncanny lassitude,
Lying in majesty,
Swirling in ecstasy.

Within this mammoth silver submarine,
How many mysterious live forms thrive!
What curious shaped corals, what all sea urchins!
What wealth of fish, what gigantic mammals!

Between the blue sky above
And the blue sea below
I see seagulls fly,
The long beaked pelicans prey,
Grampuses heaving their huge form,
Above the calm surface,
And the milky spray tossing shiny pearls,
Upon the stretching naked strands.

I can see a distant sail,
And the hull of a ship,
Gliding over undulating waves,
Leaving a frothy trail of foam behind,
With water churning and spiraling around,
Where sharks and seals and dolphins swim.

Piles of silver clouds move above
And the golden sands stretch below,
With periwinkles, crabs and shells,
Scattered by the receding waves.

Splashing tides, dancing weeds
Rising crescendo, falling rhythm

Oh! What a splendid scene,
In the rosy gleam of this evening!
What delectable mélange
Of tinkling sensory delights!

misty horizon
oceans seperate his palm
from my tear

my floating sandal-
tumbling waves break
upon the shore

floating bubbles
before i tossed my pebble
dad breaks wind at sea

waves lilt upon the sand
coloured corals crunch
between our toes

low tide
dawn's golden shimmer reveals
a coral reef

the tempest
a lone ship fades
in the mist

Give Peace a Chance

I see a world in a sea of peace
Cleansed by the waves of love
A sacred earth with love so pure
That are corals in our eyes.

Where mountains kiss the skies
And fulgent dreams upon a rose
Braves the weather of the skies
Where beauty never dies.

In a heart as pure as gold
In a pure undaunted world
Forged by the flames of peace
Where goodness never cease.

I see a world devoid of all greed
Embraced by the flames of equality
In every colour and in every creed
Men are armed with love's tranquality.

When not a hate,when not a war
Would blaze across our native lands
For nothing woesome,nothing impure
Would repose within our idle hands.

I see a world in a bond together
A lasting peace and love forever
When all existing streams meet
They become one flow, one heart beat!

Every Night

Every night, the tenebrous land of my inner existence

invades my half waking thought

Once more this sombre heart seeks you

It seeks for you 'neath the silhouette of a snow-veiled Sakura tree

against the slow rise of an iridescent moon over the horizon

It seeks for you through ashes and embers of a sky's falling star

and through mist which spreads your name on my window-pane

This sombre heart seeks you through lonely teardrops

which tread gently like scented lavender upon a worn out pillow-case

Every night, desires and illusions embrace life's reality

I make love to the wind,to the sand,to the shore where We danced

Where our bare-toes crunched corals ,and your lips brushed my hand.

Every night, your evanescent hug is carried by by waves back to me

I reach you,I hold you,I breathe once again in a numb memory

Every night,I yearn for the next blinding sunrise

to run wild,to run free in ever green fields

where dandelions blossom.and the crimson rose bleeds

Ahh,how it bleeds, with silk scarlet petals and velvets of passion

Yet it bleeds, with one hundred thorns well hid in between

Every night, the tenebrous land of my inner existence invades my half waking thought

Once more, this sombre heart seeks you

It seeks the guitar boy with those almond eyes

It seeks each wrinkle of laughter.

Its every remembrance and effervescent smile

Before the cold distance. Before last goodbyes

This Sombre Heart Seeks You

Every night, the tenebrous land of my inner existence
invades my last waking thought.
Once more this somber heart seeks you..
It seeks for you 'neath the silhouette of each sakura tree
and in the slow rise of an iridescent moon over the horizon.
It seeks for you through ashes, and embers of a sky's shooting star
and through mist which spreads your name on my window-pane.
This sombre heart seeks you through lonely tear drops
which fall gently like scented lavender on a worn out pillow-case.
Every night, desires and illusions live their reality.
I make love to the wind,to the sand,to the shore where we danced
Where our bare-toes crunched corals, and your lips brushed my hand.
Every night, your evanescent hug is carried by waves back to me
I reach you,I hold you,I breathe once again in yester's memory.
Every night,I believe in the next blinding sunrise
to run wild,to run free in evergreen fields
where dandelions blossom ,and the crimson rose bleeds
Ahh,how it bleeds, with its soft scarlet petals
and velvets of passion, yet it bleeds
with hundreds of thorns, well hid in between.
Every night, the tenebrous land of my inner existence
invades my last waking thought
Once more ,this sombre heart seeks you
It seeks the guitar boy with those amorous eyes
It seeks each wrinkle of laughter
Its every remembrance ,and effervescent smile
without the cold distance and our last goodbye.
