Best Christmas Bells Poems
Christmas bells aren’t ringing all through our little town,
The zoning ordinances prohibit such a noisy sound.
There are no carolers singing their songs of Christmas cheer,
People are afraid to open their doors to strangers who draw near.
Now Santa needs written permission to enter any locked domicile,
With the arrests resulting from last year his Reindeer are still on trail.
Don’t expect too much in your stocking at least nothing you might like,
Labor negotiations have broken down and the elves have gone on strike.
I hung a wreath on my front door and my neighbor gave me a laugh,
The lights that he displays on his own house could land a small aircraft.
There’s something in that eggnog that has made me lose my head,
I nearly said Merry Christmas rather than Happy Holidays instead.
Oh, I long for an old fashioned Christmas where everyone was bright,
But until the world is sane again I’ll keep a silent night.
And what of that little baby that started this whole thing,
The more I think about him, the more I want to sing.
So let’s all join together and prepare for what may come next,
Let’s all share love, joy, peace and hope by sending out a text.
So relieved at the Christmas bells,
Which abound in stores and on cards,
That we hear on Christmas Eve,
From churches sounding for their services,
Reminding us that there's a story behind it.
A bell can be rung to call someone,
Stating that a person is in need,
Endorsing an act of service in care,
Whether you close a window or feed.
It reminds us that all people have the entitlement,
To presume their right to be cared for,
And not just accept what their carer wants to give,
But demand the help which lets them live how they want to live.
A bell can chime the last call at the pub,
Signalling you to abstract and summarise your conversation,
Collect yourself, your thoughts and conclude,
And feel the warmth that your friend has given you.
And of course, bells remind us of history,
That old technology which stood for so many things and operations in the past,
Like calling lifts or elevators,
Signing to shopkeepers that customers had just come in the door of the store,
Announcing danger ahead for a ship (like the Titanic),
Locating a lost dog or cat (now done with a GPS).
An elevator's bell never asked for your weight,
A store's door bell didn't specify your identity,
And a care call bell didn't state your request,
Nor how it was to be given.
I like bells, because they make me feel secure,
They suggest that making another aware of your presence or problem is fine,
And they normally sound so happy, so joyful,
Without any suggestion ever of guilt,
About their possible calling purpose at the baggage you may have.
The distant church bells ring
what will the new year bring
love, hope, and faith come too
as well as many dreams come true
for me and you
to many and few

AS THE NIGHT FALL
YOU HEAR THE CALL
ITS A TING
AND PING
THE SOUND
IS UP AND DOWN
ROUND TOWN
AS THE ANGEL SING
YOU
LET THE CHRISTMAS BELL RING
The Bells of Christmas ring
Ding dong, ding dong
Little children sing
O' Silent Night!* --all night long
Chiming n' glad tidings bring
Singsong, singsong
Oh, hear the sweet, ye' bells of noel
Ding-ding-dong-bong!
The church bells n' the steeple propel
Ringing praises to a sky song
Upon sound of notha' bell
Angels n' sky flying nightlong
Tinkle, jingle, ring
Bling, swing n' ding,
Ye' bells of Christmas ding
Chiming all o'er the earth
Happy sounding
Makes music of earth' wind mirth
Bells at Christmas bringing
Ding dong, ding dong
Christmas bells r' ringing!
All day and all night long
Joy is ev'rywhere!
In the frosty air
A heart can freeze much colder than ice
Trolls stand at guard to extract a heavy price
Witches and Goblins rejoice in their soul stealin'
Under such torment one finds nothing appealing
There is only one thing that is known to Mankind
That can get you out of this most terrible grind
It melts the heart and banishes the spells
What is this one thing
Tis' Christmas Bells

Christmas bells a-ringing.
Hearts, are singing, them
sounds of Season’s Greetings.
And, the faces I’m meeting are filled,
with the hello and mellow of Christmas cheers.
ting
ting
ting-a-ling
Can you hear?
Our Earth is calling.
Ting-a-ling-a-ling-a-ling…
Poverty crying. Another starved one, dying.
When Christmas bells a-ringing,
let’s pray all hearts be singing,
sounds of Season’s Greetings.
And, that the faces we’re meeting are filled,
with the hello and mellow of Christmas cheers.
Ding!
Dong!
Ding!
Hear the Bells,
That ring with glee,
And fill our hearts with
Blessed Christmas melody.
It's a wonderful time of year,
The birth of our Savior so dear.
Messiah has come with a call,
God's Gift, given freely, to all!
Forever, Heaven's bells clearly ring,
Ding!
Ding a Dong!
Ding!
Christmas Bells
Jingle bells, hand bells, silver bells so fair,
Sing their laughing songs in the frosty air
Sleigh bells, church bells cheerful ringing chimes
Celebrate this time of year, this Christmastime
Joyful music every day
In doorbells greetings and Santa's sleigh
And ev'ry time we hear a bell ring
Another angel gets their wings.
Listen to this merry sound
Heavenly bells, all around
Hear their message ev'ry day
Peace on earth - Goodwill - they say.

I woke to such a mighty peal
And asked the vicar: “ What’s the deal?
I think it’s best
To let me rest.
With PEACE on earth, goodwill to men!”

Not to worry , if holiday bells by our government
are silent and snuffed!
God’s words, His truth can never, ever be once
muffled.
Sometimes, believers will be sadly downtrodden.
Look ye to the Star of Bethlehem, do not allow
Your Eternal, beautiful soul to rotten!
Strong in your faith, though life can be most unfair.
You may by your brothers be a joke. thoroughly and
unjustly scorned!
Remember why that Baby in Bethlehem was born.
To eventually die for you on the Cross, that sad and
painful, Good Friday morn!

The bells are ringing, the season is nigh
It's that joyous time when we look to the sky
For a meaning to life
The time to rejoice
When that moment of peace is magnified
Christmas Bells Ring Out With Joy
Christmas bells ring out with joy,
Announce the birth of baby boy.
Star that shines so bright above
Leads the way to heavenly love.
Angels singing, pointing, calling
Shepherds on the hills a-trembling
Leave their sheep to stand and gaze
On this baby’s face so grave.
Kings with richest gifts all laden
Swiftly travel, all doubt forgotten
To a humble stable bare
To offer gold, incense, myrrh
And to adore the trinity
Of Mother, Father and sweet baby,
While sheep and goats and silent kine
Look upon the scene divine.
Hush now, hush, the baby’s waking,
No wind’s sighing, no leaf’s quaking
But on His face a smile is breaking –
In dulci jubilo!
Shepherds, Kings and you and me
Angels, oxen and Wise Men Three
Hear bells ring out the whole world over
To announce the birth of Christ our Saviour.
