The Challenging Winds

As hurricane Katrina has came and gone, "the challenging winds can do no wrong".
As hurricane Katrina did left many dead and homeless, "the prompt of prayers can
imprint the mind to be-strong!!
Not all it its path did away with the cries, "the challenging winds attacks only in the nite".
O'Challenging wind why do you communicate so ruthless and powerfull. Do you
seek in your path-of-destruction-the need to evacuate. The contact of the history is
the guiding forces that compliment the need for the rain that came. O'Hurricane, O'Hurr-
icane, please come again. :What you did on New Orleans, will never make-us "friends".

Challenging Ocean

Treading the shallow,
Swimming the bottomless perception of the touch,
Everything between invites to explore the unreachable by pen.
Poetic challenge when entering her domain,
Sea of Poetry.
Sailing the waves,
Bottom walk of depth,
She calls poet,
With every breath,
Emotions taking flight-submerged,
Into her spirit mist.
Knowing,
Numerous await,
On dried land,
Casting reading nets,
Wondering,
What love will be about in her grace.
Soul smile imprint,
Left on their heart face,
Another fine catch for this reading season-

"the Challenging Passion/ Co-Writter Wayne Streeter

The challenge for all relationships today is to be passionate friday to Friday.
To have a inner-friendship thats commentable in caring thursday to Thursday.
The secret to the cornerstone of your heart(for each other) is understanding
the expectation of mistakes(cause there will-be some) wednesday to Wednesday.
Can we have passionate romance outside of the "bedroom", (Yes) when? we are
around each other in the high-noontuesday to Tuesday.
When we disagree against the odds monday to Monday.
And you teach-me the latest fashion sunday to Sunday.
And together we'll face, "The Challenging Passion" saturday to Saturday.

7-days a week is more than I deserve for my action/The Challenging Passion.

Premium Member Challenging Indolence

Looking at the mirror
…with good day’s pleasure
I see indolence-glamor
…gripping me with delight’s leisure
Yet ready to attack my sense of honor
…for me to defy time-worth’s treasure
Such a deceiving foe; not a generous donor
…offering me gift that costs much pressure!

Today, I challenge you, my sluggard laziness' suitor
…upon your procrastination’s grandeur
I’m aware of your wastefulness’ color
…since my daily schedule you want to injure
I fight you for putting me in meaninglessness’ rigor
…against unjustified torture
Dampening my work-ardor
…by your entertainment-indulgence culture!

I now combat fruitlessness’ horror
…in striving for a productive future
While trusting God* with His grace-anchor
…I press on by His might so sure!

*Proverbs 28:25 He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the LORD shall be made fat.

All that I do need, (5)
Are my poems in front of me; (7)
Away I will wright.  (5)

What runners do need;
Good blockers in front of them;
Away they will run.

She really does need,
Have some ballet slippers on,
And away did dance.

Us to titillate,
She simply can never wait;
Ever hesitate.

Readily accessible;
Have what we do need.

A figure of speech;
Trump mentally decrepit,
From where we do sit.

What a waste Trump is;
We wonder if he can read;
Much less turn a page.

Must be more direct;
Cabinet are a reject;
Which we did detect.

Humiliated;
Have not been compensated,
For the things they did.

Trump's mind must be blank;
Cannot tell beans from bullets;
Puzzle part won't fit.

Trump has made a mark,
You never did find in dark,
And was a lone shark.

End term of service;
Close to start getting nervous;
Unum e pluribis.

E pluribus Unum (13 letters) "Out of many, one". There is also something about magic number 13.

The Challenging of the Upcoming Scandel's/Wayne Streeter Co/Writter

The upcoming scandels, are just a phone-call away, for truly the president is laid in-waiting
of a drama of improper scrunity soon any day. The faces of democracy lies and all, will soon
show their ugly faces in this upcoming-fall. Just look at the Health-care issue and the shame
brought on by ignorances and persecution just because he's (black) when will we all live to-
gether in harmony and do what is right. Yes I've already had nightmare after one another
and like no other night of rapture and capture the destiny of mindless folks. The upcoming
scandel's, the mockerie of a banging, what's next, a good ole barnyard hanging. Come on
people, come to the light, when will all come together and do was is right!!.. He deserve a
chance for romancing the stone, but alone, "he can do nothing", pull of your h??d and show
your true you the world is suffering of you being you. Noone is perfect Mr. Obama and him
too has problems just like you and I. The Challenging plural of society is we are sure to
blame, that's the name of the game, Republican and Democrats you're soon shall all face the
death of hopeliness if the unstretch hands of love don't soon come with respect. There's a
long-way yet to go "The Challenging of the upcoming scandel's", please find it in your heart
of hearts to just say, "NO"....

My demons I fight,
For my Lord, every day
They sit in waiting
In the dark places for me.

My plight shall I ride,
For my Lord, in every way
These demons bring up thoughts
But my strengths in my Lord sway
That is where I won my fall.

The depressions:
Come at me in madness
Along with it
Is it evil, for sure?

Not sure I can
Take much more
At times it makes me
Want to puke
When I can't find a door.

A door out of this place,
Of depressing, crushing
Feelings it leaves.

Sure is a bunch of sadness
I'm not willing to relive it.

I need to get out,
But it seems
It's my life
Even though I to encase
And see this with doubt.

The past has made you strong

                                        feel that strength

                                        let the burden fall

                                      Leave the door closed

                                     It is the future that will

                                          make you happy

                                     Although not everything

                                           goes as planned

And so we traveled very, very high,
Our destination seemingly to reach
The gathering mist and
Dreary grey sky.
The path rather track that we took,
Could have been misunderstood,
For a stairway to heaven.

Are you going right to the top,
Are you mad to go,
Asked a kind old man with a mop
Of pure white hair, walking his dog.
He seemed to think so.
At every curve we went higher,
I feared we could not travel further,
As the track became even curvier,
Our altitude terrifying,
But still we kept climbing.
I did not utter a sound,
Just accepted that we might die,
And might shortly be heaven bound.
No alternative to be found,
We had to face this rocky terrain.
The mist arrived, low and blanket like,
It was recommended that this
Area was good for a hike,
Or mountain biking,
Perhaps even cycling,
And what about the mist,
Pray tell, I Insist.

We finally reached our rustic
Holiday accommodation,
And destination,
Off the grid,
With feelings of trepidation,
Not a property
For which I would bid.
What a magnificent sight to behold,
We avoided little mounds of sand,
When walking on a gravel path,
Towards our wood cabin,
Cows munched grass outside our door,
A worker, hired as a farm hand,
Covered cow dung with this sand,
Thank God for small mercies,
Hallelujah, hubby said.

The Natal midlands, we will
Visit again, but will stay
on lower Terra Firma
So that we may
Live. to see another day.

Thunder Challenging the Gods

Soft warmth coerced an easiness
spent waves lapping my thankful feet

crabs skittering sideways, castanets posed,
dance to the ebb and flow of
water’s endless journey.

Gulls circle tides shifting winds
shrieking at the change of fate,
hardened edge and hot steel blend
sparks igniting demon trait.

Valiant the battle
waged beneath the darkened sky
humid  heat – dry cold
light slashing the horizon.
Thunder challenging the gods.

Morning In Reseda

The bonus layer of filth
Coating the experiential asphalt
Native to this smitten land
Where you either
Accelerate or exacerbate
For the bulls run hard here
In clever, desperate ways
When stacked two or six to a room Hoodies line the highways and runways Because bad hair days
Attempts to stay warm
And inconspicuous strutting
Make sense for this first dew
After a Christmas sunset
Humanity yawning
Some obligated to grind
As the sun turns again
To wonder
Where wander is the most
That many can afford.

Challenging Times

God not again!
Amidst this pandemic I will go insane
All of us have seen the news
Restless world everyone is confused.
It has taken new form
Media will convince us this is the new norm
And this "Kent Covid Variant" will swipe away our sanity that I
   can conform.

Deadly virus and political imbalance is a dreadful combination
Uncanny is the situation
Backing away is not the option
Ending this pandemic is our task
You just have to wear a mask .
