Person, Woman, Man, Camera, Tv

Identify an elephant
And I will shout, “Hooray!”
For you’re so smart you could be
Leader of the U.S.A.

Another test to prove your worth?
Repeat this after me –
Five words: they’re “Person, Woman, Man”
Then “Camera” and “T.V.”

It’s comforting to know we’re led
By one with an I.Q.
That helps him to distinguish
All the red states from the blue.

Well, I am just a Person,
Yes, a Woman, but, oh Man,
On Camera, for T.V., I’d say,
“I hope he gets the can!”

Camera Woman

Camera woman
saw men dancing as dolls
and laughter killed her

Smile For the Camera

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Smile for the camera...
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
But are you smiling inside, inside where the truth
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
The truth of your life, the truth, it can never hide, but
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Why; I know why you cry; but why, do you keep it inside?!?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Why do you hide, this truth of your life, this
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Disguise that your eyes, they can never hide...
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Smile, smile for the camera ~
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
But let it out, release your pain, free your heart
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
This is your day; a brand new start!?
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Tell a loved one, tell a friend, tell...
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
...As you breathe in the air ~
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Breathe, believe, believe, breathe; others as yourself
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Who truly care ~ Smile for the camera, or say your goodbyes
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Because you truly only get, one chance, one chance at this life...
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
If I said I love you, if I said you are loved
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Would you still, would you still say goodbye; why?!
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
When there's so much more ~ Hold on, hold on to your life ~
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Here, come on, smile, “Smile for The Camera.”*:*"

Fat Santa sneaked out of the shop
With bags full of sweets and a cake
The salesgirl screamed out: “Call a cop!
That man dressed as Claus is a fake!”

Smile You'Re On Candid Camera

In God's image we were made, and to God all the Glory
Thus lucifer became dismayed in not liking this story
Of the angels he took a third coming down to the Earth
And because all of this occurred we have Jesus's Birth

Just one of many worlds that exist, yet different are we
satan in adding his own little twist saying you glorify me
he was one of the wisest being able to know man's heart
Knowing exactly what he should test in giving sin it's start

You are helpless in your defense he will sift you like wheat
His powers are too immense and you will end up in defeat
The Heavens filled with controversy as His Angels look down
All eyes upon you and me Reflecting the Glory of God's Crown

Wear God's armor in battle in the attacking of the enemy
Cut off that snakes rattle in telling people they can be free
satan will eventually get his due no need for you to be there
Jesus can read hearts too, but of this I'm sure you're aware

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them. Job 1:7 The LORD said to Satan, “From where do you come?” Then Satan answered the LORD and said, “From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”

Sweat drips backstage, mouth parched, heart beating at a sprinter's pace.
All eyes on me, as lights dim with spotlight honing on mic and lips.
Words flow to a standing ovation - I soak it all in.

One of the highlights for me in 2023 was performing spoken word for the first time on stage in front of a packed auditorium. It was a memorable experience and probably the greatest in my creative pursuits.

Through the Camera Lens

Through the camera lens, why do you seek me out?
Trough the camera lens, For I wish to escape your sight,
Through the camera lens, I wish to run away, choose someone else,
I dont want to be seen as I am, for I am really ashamed.

Through the camera lens, do you see the true me inside?,
I wish to hide, its all I really know,
I see you still there Sarah, please turn away, for I am not worthly of being captured
for others to view and seek for appreciation or beauty, turn the camera around please?
You are the one who I wish to shine brightly, you are the wind beneath my wings,
Through the camera lens, it will capture all my faults, too late It has already been shown,
At least I dont have to see it, you can keep it for yourself...
Because only you have seen whats truly inside my heart..

Lights! Camera! Action!

sunshine
bright lights
they all look the same
spotlight
stage
my home away from home
a song in my throat
sorrow surrounding my heart
the mic
is my only comfort
when i open my mouth
and sing those familiar melodies
all fears leave
spotlight on me
like Tupac
all eyes on me
not a rapper
but my rhymes
and lyrics will have you hype
never put you to sleep
bright lights
sunshine
they all look the same

Lights ,Camera, Action!!!!!!!!!!

Characteristically speaking,
I am in awe of you,
Make believing, while convincing us all that you are true.
Art imitating life,
Life from the depth of imagination,
profoundly saying,
I am here, SURPRISE!!!!
I have arrived!!!!!
Shakespere himself would roll over with envy,
and T.S. Elliot would smile with what you bring.
Keep doing the things that you do,
with that magic that you make.
Fore all of the world is a stage,
and you provide the light,
the world is your audience;
as you shine so bright,
As the flash of their cameras,
command your action,
and the captivating passion!!!!!!

Academy award winner,
thank you for sharing your gift,
It is truly everlasting!!!!!!!

Stupid Things People Say.
.
Stupid things people say
I hear them every day
.
Is it the weather or me?
How do you want your tea
In or out
Well it make more sense to have it in a cup
To me
.
Is that a guitar on your shoulder?
No it’s an ironing board
And a boulder
Can you play?
No I just carry it about all day
.
Is that a camera are you filming?
No I’ve got something stuck in my eye
Goodbye
.
Are they your dogs?
No I’m taking them back for the ransom money
Are you trying to be funny honey?
.
It always rains but never pours
So you've been to this planet before?
.
I’m going shopping for a bargain
Not if you didn’t want it in the first place
 Not another frying pan and cardigan
.
Money makes the world go round
Well if it does
Here’s half a crown
.
I bet you were a beautiful baby
I still am beautiful
Lady
.
The wheels on the bus go around and around
Of course they do
Or we’d never get around
.
The grass is always greener on the other side
Not if you have a mudslide
.
You never know what’s around the corner
I do
Big Ada I have to warn you
.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush?

A Camera On a Walk To Clear Writer's Block?

A Camera to clear writer’s block is not wise
The flash tends to hurt my eyes
Cause when it’s pointing at me
The picture I cannot see
But the funny faces I pull I’ve won first prize

The Camera As a Weapon

A moth to the heart of the light, flamed
A memory semi-precious, almost alive
A random arced flight of a bullet not aimed
A gymnastic crimson misted dusty dive.

An event striking elsewhere, a country un-named
His memories stop, awards to come; cease,
Mass shock, horror, and politics blamed
Kind words at his funeral, sandwiches and teas.

His very last printed picture has a small hole in it,

Then something red…

Then nothing...

but
useless,
unfocused,
light.

( Based on an event where a photo-journalist that I knew, was killed in a war )

Through the camera lens
She appears to me
But in negative
She looks so differently

Enhanced is her shape
Delicious in curve
Negative shadows
Hugging clothes serve

Pout and pert
Elegance
Posture of shape
My eyes in trance

Shadows of black
Stand out eyes
Piercing me
Leaves me in sigh

Through the camera lens
She appears to be
The negative
Of what I normally see

Nostalgia Camera Obscura

It first began looking, at my great grandparents, in old pictures albums or on the wall, so I did not understand longing, for simpler times or why, I would think I would see a picture of me there. I would always look but never seeing me. It never stopped me from looking, when I was young, looking for myself. The times were simpler but not easier, as the black and whites, showed the hardness of the times, written on their faces each line or scar. Written for all to see, yet I looked for me back then. It was strange, I know; but with imagination of a child in the heroic sense. How life could have been, so much better then and what a hero I could have been.Whether, medieval or cowboy or war days, that is where I played. In retro seeing me line and scars in black and white all the battles one

Camera, Action, Sex

What is it about this figure that stands between us?
Do we allow it to stand there Forever?
I want to be there with you.

In 5 months what will we know?
Will we know more or less?
It matters.

I see us spread out on paper,
Like ink blotches, forming,and coming together.
Thrashing about like Hollywood lovers.
It's a fantasy.

It is as if it was produced to seem
Like we can never reach desire.
And the direction is scattered, unclear.

Our dreams understand more,
It focuses on exactly what we want.

They show me a stage of actors,
And you are what I want, we both feel it.
I search for you,
And there you are.
