Premium Member Mail Order Brides - Let the Buyer Beware

Ted hunted high and low when trying to find the perfect wife
She must be subservient and fit in with his mundane life

The Internet looked promising to find a mail order bride,
and soon a special lady could be standing by Ted’s side

The catalogue was full, brides came in all shapes and sizes,
such a variety of colours, each page was filled with huge surprises

Ted’s eyes widened when he saw Svetlana’s pretty face
She had a gorgeous body and her bits were all in the right place

With her long blonde hair and sapphire eyes
Ted could be the envy of many other guys

Svetlana’s resume said she wanted to marry a foreign man
She was determined to escape from her life in Azerbaijan

Ted contacted a website and said he’d a pay a hefty fee
He wanted to wed Svetlana and he hoped that she’d agree

Ted said he’d pay for Svetlana to visit him in the USA
And if she was suitable they could choose a wedding day

The flight was booked and Ted was getting really excited
He spoke to Svetlana on the phone and hoped they’d be united

At last the big day came and he went to the arrivals hall
Svetlana wasn’t on the flight, oh how Ted’ s face did fall

Suddenly Ted heard someone calling out his name
It couldn’t be Svetlana as her pic was not the same

This lady was enormous and looked like the back end of a cow
Poor Ted was in a quandary… just what should he do now

Ted went over to her and said there must be some mistake
She said no I am Svetlana, sorry that picture was a fake.

Ted felt so sorry for her and took her to his home
He didn’t want to leave her in the airport on her own

They spent some time together and they got on really well
She was a fabulous cook and Ted’s waistline soon did swell

Svetlana stayed with Ted and eventually they wed
Ted is really happy now Svetlana shares his bed!

Once a Buyer At the Liar

he sold a lot from lies he told
the same he sold to men of old:
for him to sell
some lies we tell.
Goods like leaves sunburn unrooted
Abundance bought to wither sure
To lie about my age for fame
To lie along the rakes for shame

And when discovered I a store
with truth and life and so much more:
for Him to sell
some truths we tell.
Goods like leaves sunned and deep-rooted
A few seeds sown to blossom sure
Once a buyer at The Liar
Now a buyer at The Truth-er

A Passerbyer Or a Buyer

A Passerbyer or a Buyer

You will love this place and am not a liar
Whey be passerbyer but become a buyer
Whole lot great green belt does surround
House and lot are like heaven you have found.

House rests is on cul-de-sec a dead end street
When my magnificent house your eyes meet
Desired design is destined to make you be
Living in home of brave and land of the free.

All is peaceful here and will exist no wreath
Leading to a pretty pond you can see a path
As you are looking from your front door
Once in house so much more is in store.

If bought, thought to you we do bequeath
Should see all the storage space underneath
All available and at your personal disposal
To yu personally want to make this proposal.

Next door neighbors are nice and really great
To purchase home and move in can hardly wait
Can you believe realtor recently gave me a hint
Best proven policy is always to assume consent.

Oh and

Once in and you find yourself full of elation
House happens to sit on highest elevation.

Buyer Beware

Diamond earrings and other glittery things
can cause the heart to pop and ping
The latest fads viewed from online ads
Those well advertised, must have coffee crazes
require sweets shiny with various glazes
Designer clothes purchase proven with selfies
begs the viewers' response, " is she wealthy ? "
Shoes, booze--are these really a win--or actually a lose
Do things really cause your heart to sing
All the debt and stress that things can bring
Is it possible all the happiness can be had
from what exists all around
FREE pleasure abound, natures' sweet songs and sounds
Sprouting, flying, running, crawling, budding, blooming
Rainbows, all that grows, some branches may need pruning
Stems and foliage eagerly zooming toward the sun
Or those who think it no fun, survival doomed and done
To burn and bake but rather bask and thrive in shaded shelter
They think it hell on earth to wither, roast and swelter
Freshly mowed grass, seasons here then soon gone
Varied pleasures with each, a necessary change of song
Breathe in unique each, inhale till dizziness ensues
This rest is needed to restore, refresh and renew
Visually scan changes, don't despair with monthly losses
This is where everlasting happiness truly exists
Takes time and age, longing for superficial things will not persist
so---BUYER BEWARE !!
Watch where you plant your thoughts, wants and cares
Though age and time will cure those obsessions and ills
Let nature hasten to heal with its' au natural pills

The Buyer

Anything you got for sale I can take care
Whether it be books clothes or even broken chair
All I need is a very hefty fare
And I'll take things that are even rare
Sometimes I even take away people fear
But it'll cost more than a few strand of hair
I'm always closer to you than you think
Just open your eyes and give three wink
But make sure you don't blink
Cause one false move and you'll sink
I'm the buyer the one that comes for soul
I'll take you away if you don't have any life goal
But I first seek out the one's with hidden mold
I always keep my cool even when its cold
You won't find me in black
But I'll always be ready to attack
I am the buyer

Let the Buyer Beware

Let the Buyer Beware

By Elton Camp

These days, it is especially nice
To find an item at a bargain price

A half-price car Reginald got
But had to meet in a parking lot

“Cash only,” the seller did say
He’d mail the car title right away

An advertisement for rings Meg spied
Right there in the newspaper classified

She had to drive into the country rather far
To see jewelry from the trunk of his car

The prices were simply incredible, though
She bought several items and was on the go

A sixty-inch flat screen television set
For only fifty bucks, Joe was able to get

It was delivered in an old, beat-up truck
Joe simply couldn’t believe his luck

The stolen items the police confiscated
Thus, the “bargains” they much hated

When word of the buys the cops got
All said, “We had no idea it was hot!”

Suspicious circumstances they had to see
To such purchases should never agree

If it sounds too good to be true
The low price is the clue
So what would you say
To a resort on Waikiki Bay
That costs you but two hours pay

Buyer Beware
David J Walker

The Earth is our patient host
And we are the guests
Feasting freely in a full pantry
Steeling the linen
Calling our neighbors invaders
Demanding justice to fortify our
Positions and satisfy our ambitions
Enforcing the bowing and kneeling
But buyer beware
Earth has its own practice
Of healing

I'm like a commodity being priced in the market-place:
every eye ogles me like a buyer's.

If you insist, I'll continue playing my songs,
forever piping the flute of my heart.
—Majrooh Sultanpuri, loose translation by Michael R. Burch

The moon has risen once again, yet you are not here.
My heart is a blazing pyre; what do I do?

Buyer of the Beliefs

I’m wandering on the earth
Paths after paths
No end of the paths there are
Stoppage out of the dictionary of earthly paths

Day enters into the night, night discovers day
Kinematograph feels tired for continuity of time

My wandering with the white cloud
Under the sun of the day and the moon of night,
My wandering with flying heron,
My wandering with nightly darks,
Lonely I’m wandering
Through the shapeless winds, times

Sunlight, moonlit gives birth some thoughts into me
Rainy drops, sober breeze gives birth some thoughts into me
I’m wandering alone through the crowded
Paths after paths the swarming thoughts guide me

Oh I find the earth is the biggest bazaar of beliefs
Many biggest companies there are
The sales envoys are erratic to sell daily their beliefs
The marketing diplomats convey only their beliefs are God said
I wander and find the buyers are blind believers
The blind believers buy whatever they find wherever,
The blind believers carry out their bags of beliefs till the end breath,
The blind believers unite them as their own beliefs,
The blind believers worship the sales envoys and marketing diplomats of own beliefs as God sent,
The blind believers sacrifice themselves for own beliefs,
The blind believers create crusade field of hatred forgetting humanity,
On the other hand
the businessman of the beliefs are happy seeing the bloodshed from the safe palace of religions

Oh! The blind believers buyers don’t know what did they buy
Where human for human, human for sympathy, love, humanity…
There The blind believers buyers buy as beliefs the hate, the cruelty…

Premium Member Buyer Syndrome

The annual Christmas Bazaar is tomorrow
In a country village not far from my home,
Joy and glee casting out all seasonal sorrow
The annual Christmas Bazaar is tomorrow,
Quickly to the bank some cash, I’ll borrow
A few days later to feel a tinge of sorrow
My budget stretched by buyer syndrome,
The annual Christmas Bazaar is tomorrow
In a country village not far from my home.

Buyer of Fire

Be wise and don't mock love
Lion not pass any guilt by anyone

Everyone's eyes are happy to see she
I the one buyer fire look she

The brain says that she does unfaithful
It's amazing that I have such an illusion full

O my troubled heart, where is his love?
If you don't know where it is, it is definitely a secret move

Everyone's eyes are happy with your laugh
Whether she was or not she is a laugh

You are the most forgiving person in your loyalty
It is the day of eternity, open the door secretly

You Never don't turn your back on a promissory
The burden of my heart is from where to where like mystery

This world with all creatures and existence
It revolves around you like Sufi dance
