Extreme Sunset

Brimstones past the clouds
Highlight against the ocean line
Beautiful sunset, warm texture
Warning, the rooster's asleep!

Glorious yellow and orange mixture
My source of great inspiration
Unmatch - beauty mark In the sky
The horizon is ready for nightfall

What’s it take for women to hate
their first born so long and so cold?
Sly smiles as he choked on the bait.
You sat in that one church so bold,
Blind and deaf to Love’s story told.
Among serpents in pews hearts won,
you died unbroken, mute and sold,
in how you treated your own son.

A father’s heart chipped out of slate.
Your measure given is twofold,
to regret forever too late,
brimstones are all that’s left to hold.
Your neglect was poured and it rolled
eighty-three years under the sun.
The Great White Throne decree behold,
in how you treated your own son.

How his innocence you both ate,
An orphan made in constant scold.
No mercy in your ways or fate.
In Matthew you read he foretold,
hypocrite’s wages to be tolled .
The grave’s sleep keeps remorse undone,
your legacy as I grow old,
in how you treated your own son.

If I am to breathe Heaven’s air,
your first grandson, when life is done,
I don’t expect to see you there,
in how you treated your own son.

Big stones, rig stones

Round stones, pound stones
Sitting on the ground stones
Small stones, wall stones
Make you trip and fall stones
Grey stones, play stones
Lying in the way stones
Black stones, stack stones
Ready for attack stones
Bright stones, white stones
Feeling very light stones
Red stones, headstones
Under your feet tread stones
Two stones, blue stones
Teaching how to hew stones
Limestones, slime stones
Weathering all time stones
Sandstones, grand stones
Spread out on the land stones
Brownstones, crown stones
You can break them down stones
Bloodstones, stud stones
Flowing with the flood stones
Brimstones, gemstones,
Shining diadem stones
Rough stones, tough stones
There are not enough stones
Grindstones, lined stones
Everywhere you find stones

My Garden Butterflies

Submit Poems

My garden today, suffering. No rain for weeks, hosepipe ban expected anytime soon. Unfortunately, I only have one water butt and that's dangerous low. Using a watering can, time-consuming but its a question of needs must. I'd hate for my butterfly bushes to not bloom. Many species of butterfly are under threat of extinction in the United Kingdom, in my locale I have not recorded the wall brown for over twenty years, used to be quite common, even in my garden. This day, even though we are all experiencing a glorious summer, the butterflies are struggling to recover from the recent bad springtimes' and non-existent summers. The heavy rainfalls and colder than average temperatures being a big factor in their demise. Today, I have up to 1500 hours, (21st July 2018), only recorded one speckled wood, one holly blue, several cabbage whites, both large and small, a very poor day indeed, however, better than none at all, of course, I do mean butterflies! The latter being the only two that I can describe as abundant. No peacocks, green veined, brimstones since late spring

pretty butterflies
many in the UK... gone
fickle summertime weather

Power

If men were gods
Then horses will fly
If men were gods
Then no one will die
To mold the
destinies of many
With a wand in my hand
And turn a swarm of bees
To a matching band
To live a thousand years in the eyes of the mortals
And a second in the presence of his fellow immortals
I wish I could command the obedience of nature
And have the gift of
seeing through the future
I wish I could command the winds to stop
And I say to Lazarus
Hey you get up
I wish I could save
the lives of many children
And be the shining light of all my brethren
I wish I could hold
the stars in my hands
And fly on a magic carpet
To distant lands
I wish the world belongs to me
So that I could
foretell
What will be
In history
Like a Leprechaun
I hold a pot of gold
Which I shall give to that man who is bold
I wish my voice was
as powerful
As thunder
And aeroplanes would
clash as the sight
of this wonder
I wish I could
project my power
To the world with a spell
And turn
incalcitrant nations
To a living hell
With fireballs and brimstones raining
From the heavens
like cats and dogs
And insects jumping
around the fields like toads and frogs
And if my power was meant for only good
And I vow not to abuse it
Understood
And angels would bow at my feet
Crushing my foes bit
by bit
With laser beams
Blazing through my eyes
As I lift off the
ground
To the evening skies

Heretic
your breath reeks
of brimstones ash
quenched with the blood
of martyred dreams.

I heard
hopes dying scream
as it burned alive
consumed by the flames
of your firey speech.

And now
you turn to me
lost Shepard
bemoaning the world's inability
to see your virtues.

I say
return false prophet
unto your true master
spare me
your tainted sermons.

Dear Pamela

DEAR PAMELA
Dear pamela,
The song about you remind me of pains
Your smiles remind me of that day
The sun visited the earth in her full human
To touch the soul of another human being
Is to walk on a holy ground but yours is a
Burning hell decorated with brimstones
Instand of ros flowers which are made in woman's heart.
You are of sadness and weired experience to me
I take as my guide, the hope of a saint in
Crucial things but your presence in my life
Frustrates my believe and trust for womanhood.
I watched the time eroding away, my soul laughed
Sarcastically; your tears built the hut which
Harbour my happiness and my life is long gone
Leave now! I beg you with tears.
The day is still young and fresh to ruin my life
I look forward to get my lost rib not you
Young ladies await me in the corner
Do not be a hinderance to my life
Another will love and care for you more than me
My heart belongs to another, dear pamela.

Scorful Song of Sorrow

A scornful Song thats' undesirable and unstoppable.
Where our flesh holds a thousand stripped souls. Dimminshed by its inablity of
resistance.

Our mind and soul manipulated,
and blurred from all source of benevolence.
Abducted by this incarciration
pulled by an abyss of departed spirits.
We're compelled to compress into the compulsion of hellish proportions.
And fed into our hearts'the compunction of betrayal and denial of his prime expectations.

Departing from our flesh as were sitting at the core of ignited brimstones,
our souls are surroneded by flames left deathless.
With inflammation and suffocation surronding our nation. The trembles of it's terror are
abruptly endless.
Where screams are seen but not perceived
the heavy splash of blood is but a scornful song of sorrow in the temple of his
mercifulness.

Torment

A straight line is what I crave for,

But my mind curves, when I think of her,

My minds is a typhoon, and my heart is the eye,

She is beauty,

She is happiness,

She is fire!

She is laughter,

And she is Love…

Her face is obscure but her heart burns,

Her fire consumes me,

And the brimstones quench my thirst,

Her face is obscure but her heart burns,

She consumes me,

And I am in torment,

 But yet I hope,

I will find her,

And my line shall be straight,

We will dance in the rain,

The wind will carry our music,

The drops will be our mirror,

The angry wind shall be calm,

And the earth shall stand still,

My torment will end,

Her face is obscure but her heart burns.

Rock of Damnation

from his rock he sends out a deadly summons
  that calls
                          the demons up to hell
that calls
                           the devils home
a call for the barbarians to answer

a cold wind blows through to a man’s soul
               as eternity waits
                                   inside the furnaces fire
and Lucifer sips
upon the dregs of society`s ills

the wake to realities nightmare
of devils and demons living
inside hells fires and brimstones
where the stench of death and suffering
invade the living
                                  and the walking dead

the demons can cage a man
the demons can break a man`s spirit
but they can-not cage a man`s minds escape

an minds escape
                                     upon wings that fly

he dreams of lazing on a sun soaked beach
a drink in hand staring out at a pacific blue
sitting upon golden sands

then he wake from dream
                  to nightmares reality
of devils and demons
living
           side by side inside Hades
living
side by side inside Dante' s fire

where upon the silence dark
                                     a nightmare screams
at the sound of rattling chains and steel iron
at the sound of lashes from fire
that sting upon open flesh
and the empty echoes of the hangman’s call

despair is born out of lost hope
when the demon tighten his grip

his grip around a man’s soul
upon the empty shells the beasts breed

the devils fire burns
as the demon wears the mask of innocent
then walked upon the path of gold
but all he found was burning fires and brimstones
                  it`s a place where
a whirlpool surrounds when the mighty winds blow
an arctic chill that blows with a haunting sound
whistling
a freight train into lost hearts
across the bay
                      the devil
                               comes a calling

Summer Meadows

To lie in summer meadows with tall grass all around, eyes fixed and staring into endless sky.
Tracking across the heavens, trying to locate the sound of a skylark’s endless warble up on high.
Feeling a sense of drowning in a pool of endless blue, the shouts of friends at play are distant now.
I turn my head and stare at meadow plants of every hue, and swat a curious insect from my brow.

To sit in summer meadows plucking petals from a flower, to love or love me not the idle quest.
Blowing tufts from dandelion heads to check upon the hour, or plucking a buttercup for the butter test,
or watching lively ladybirds scurry across my hand before, all patience gone, they fly away.
Distracted from my reverie by a squadron of squabbling swifts, signalling the closing of the day.

To run through summer meadows with kite or whipping arrow, stopping to adjust an errant shoe,
sending plumes of pollen skyward, energy unbound, clover heads beating a tattoo.
Then, what next? Chase butterflies, dark green fritillaries, brimstones, painted ladies, cabbage whites,
with a butterfly net I made that morning from a garden cane and the foot from a cast-off pair of mother’s tights.

To walk through summer meadows at the closing of the day, all energy spent, hungry, tired and sad.
To hear my mother calling that, “Playtimes long since past”, and,” if you don’t come now you’ll answer to your dad”.
One last fling of my whipping arrow, a parting game of tick with chums as weary but still full of play,
then off we trot, homeward bound in the gathering gloom, shouting promises to meet again next day.
