Don’t ask, my friend,

How much of His breath our Lord

Has breathed into each of us*

If a cubic millimeter it is

Or

A cubic decimeter,

For it doesn't matter at all

Since HE is infinite,

And the infinite divided by any number,

Infinite remains

Thus, Into you and me, His infinity has breathed,

So, by following His Word,

You and I, my brother, my sister,

With

The passing of time, perfect we can be,

As our Father in heaven is perfect,

In His holy ways!**

*Genesis 2:7
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of
The ground, and breathed into his nostrils the
Breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

**Matthew 5:48
“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father
Which is in heaven is perfect.”

Breath of Life

The winter's chilling wind is past
The world's awakening at last
And from the mounts, where there was snow
Come rushing streams that overflow

The streams make all the fields turn green
Bright blossoms everywhere are seen
And in the grass and in the trees
Are graceful birds and busy bees

This lustrous beauty makes me sing
I thank my King for each new spring
As spring's light breezes swiftly roll
The breath of life now fills my soul

A Breath of Life

A breath of life

Your touch is that of angel’s wing
so soft upon my skin
Like feathers sifting morning air
as dawn does soon begin

Pure beauty blooms within your eyes
a warm horizon stare
In marigold and baby’s breath
and glistened dew drop glare

A smile to make the sunrise blush,
light fuchsia tinted hues
Upon an early wayward cloud
and skies of vibrant blues

As in your scent, a breath of life
my heartbeat sings your praise
A whispered wish, with you to share
these wondrous springtime days

Good morning Soupers

The Breath of Life

God said,"Let Us make man today,
Just as we are, in the same way.
God is three parts, all One whole,
Body and Spirit, and Immortal Soul.

There in a Garden, in morning's light,
God gave to Adam, the Breath of Life.
When He made Eve, from Adam's rib,
Life passed on to her from him.

Each little babe, born from then on,
Bares the same gift, passed on and on.
All have a body, each one unique.
Different in color, size and physique.

All have a soul, set identity,
The power to say, "I am me."
All have a spirit, eternal to dwell,
Either in Heaven, or else in Hell.

This precious gift, none can deny,
For God gave us the Breath of Life.

Breath of Life

Warm ,tingly, vibrate and calm
yet astonishing, amazing
Simply pure
Calm, nurturing, beautiful
Oh so rare
Instantly capturing
Delightful, graceful, and subconsciously aware
but plainly distinct
Moments notice
Second chances, forgiveness, and divine
Overwhelming light
Blazing, alluring
Golden Glare
Breathe Of Light
has been set forth for me
Through my personal tragedies
Cancer, auto accidents, personal issues
Death couldn't declare
Heartache, broken relationships
loss of loved ones to bear
Darkness, coldness
images of hell at a stare
Breathe of Life
has been set forth for me
White doves, rainbows
Angels in the realm
demons, shadows
following me
Oh so grim
Victory, Praise
Hallelujah I scream
Breath Of Life for me
has been set forth
For it's not a dream
It's my reality!

the strongest of souls
cast from their adversity
breathe the breath of life

Breath of Life

This soul was dying and crashing,
But she gave me a breath of life.
She whispered beautiful words of life,
That rejuvenated the strength within.
I started to feel the life within me rise,
And made me feel alive again.

With the breath of life I rose again,
And the petals of my life blossomed.
Once more I felt the warmth of love,
Melting down my once cold heart,
Into a warm heart that can hold love.
It is a good feeling of happiness,
That makes this heart make a beat.

In the shadow of my own loneliness,
Life was as dark as a dark night is.
The sun in my life had never set,
And the moonlight was never bright,
To light up the world around me,
Until she gave me a breath of life,
That filled my heart with love.

She is coming from the far horizon,
But I can smell the smell of her perfume.
With her majestic move I hear her steps,
And my heart is beating in expectancy,
With every step she makes closer.
My hands are widening up for her,
Ready to hold her in my arms of love.

The Breath of Life Inside

While through troubled times
when hard it is to even find
what at the horizon lies
feeling completely blind
take stormy clouds in mind
whip them out of sight
with the wind of His breath might
imagine the clearing of the skies
revealing to your eyesight
the colors coming to life
expressing a love that never dies
such majesty within your mind
connecting you to the divine.

Breath of Life

Huge Komodo dragon walks like a cowboy trough forest of dreams
In the very essence of soul he swims
Like endless maze of divinely beautiful flowers the forest seems
However it is also full of thorns, bizarre clusters, stone winds and impenetrable extremes

Each flower can give life and each can kill
This is the eerie exciting feel
From underneath bad fortune is reversed by balance of judgment’s will
The reflection of porcelain sky thunder is increased by its version of beyond esoteric wheel

The sorcerer gathers the thorns and creates a brew
He knows justice by himself he must do
To his own self he will remain true
Bouncing of what cannot be named nirvana gives flight that is smooth

But it is the stone wind increased by essence of soul
That is surrounded like island by theory of all
The stone wind will complete the final goal
To truly free the suffering soul

The Breath of Life

A GREAT THING GIVEN FROM OUR FATHER WAS,
A WORLD WITH BLUE SKYIES,BLUE OCEANS, ANIMALS, TREES, SUNLIGHT, FOOD, PEACE,
JOY, BEAUTY,
HARMONIOUSLY LIVING TOGETHER ; IN PERFECT COMPANIONSHIP.
GOD THE FATHER DIDN'T STOP THERE, HE GAVE US
THE ULTIMATE GREATEST GIFT ANYONE
COULD EVER GIVE; WHEN HE ; BLEW THE BREATHE OF LIFE INTO ADAM'S NOSTRILS.
GOD DIDN'T STOP THERE THOUGH, HE PROVIDED ADAM WITH A GARDEN OF GLORIOUS
BEAUTY AND PERFECTION.
SHORTLY AFTER THE LORD GOD ASK ADAM "WHAT IS WRONG ADAM"? ADAM REPLIED I
FEEL LONELY, I WISH I HAD A COMPANION".
QUIETLY GOD THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT ADAM
HAD SAID; AND PUSHING HIS FEELINGS ASIDE,
HE PUT ADAM INTO A DEEP SLEEP
AND MADE A COMPANION FOR HIM.
FLESH OF MY FLESH, BONE OF MY BONE,
AND THEN GOD TOOK A RIB FROM ADAM AND GAVE IT TO EVE.
AFTERWARDS GOD SAT ADAM AND EVE DOWN AND EXPLAINED
TO THEM THAT ONLY ONE THING
THEY WERE FORBIDDIN TO DO AND THAT WAS TO EAT FRUIT
FROM THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL;
FOR THEY WOULD SURLY DIE.

Dry Bones and Breath of Life

Dry Bones and Breath of Life

Lesson for today was 37:1-14
about dem dry bones and Gospel
was John 11 about Lazarus.

About Trump I will wonder and ponder
Among thieves is their own honor
Back in Bible days they would stone
To death until dry is each bone;
Especially that of an absconder.

What Trump done is devour
All of us up each second and hour;
For what he does is no excuse;
In the end he is bound to loose
After exhibiting his might and power.

To others some think they are above
And people Hitler at one time did love
Took advantage of those lowly he did;
None of his sins has he ever hid;
If similar under train we should shove.

What if Hitler our savior had been;
Messing with minds and creating sin;
With all his actions he did deceive;
In him, wanting others to believe;
Does God like that actually make men?

Am combining them all together for
a change. Go Gonzaga

------ this is meant with a degree of humor -----
------ but I know, joy is in the ears that hear -----
---------------------------------------------------------

To quote as truth a source for which
You otherwise show great disdain
Is humorous at best, a stitch
That some might say was not quite sane.

And if you cherish this sweet book,
But have not read it much of late,
It’s time you took another look,
And gave some other verses weight.

If Genesis is normative
For when it is all life begins
Then we should take a closer look
At other verses close therein.

For “breath of life” can only be
Applied to one by “Adam” called;
That you’d apply this verse to Eve?
Oh, exegete! Do be appalled!

In fifteen verses, very clear,
We see God do a nice ad lib,
Puts Adam in a heavy sleep
And liberates Eve from his rib!

Now something here just can’t be right;
No, something here just doesn’t jive.
God’s “breath of life” did not her grace;
The woman cannot be alive!

To call these verses normative
Is simply ludicrous, of course.
The “breath of life” God gave the dust?
Not air, but animating force.

And in this telling of our firsts
neither of them come from a womb,
So literal or figurative,
we need to give these verses room.

A babe will breath when it is born
On schedule or ahead of time.
You know that’s not the entry point:
As silly as a talking mime.

Way back in John, when Christ appears
upon arising, after death,
Gives the disciples Spirit then,
Conferring it with sacred breath.

Were they then dead before he breathed?
In some sense, yes, perhaps contrived
Christ’s Spirit thus has come to stay;
Spiritually, they are alive.

You don’t belive that labor does
Somehow propel those clumps of cells
By magic through the birth canal
And then form babes when they’re expelled?

Of course not, or there’d be a glitch
In logic with regard to sections.
But nobody believes all that;
it's just a case of misdirection.

We read a babe lept in the womb;
In Psalms, He forms our inward parts.
Christ, too, alive, ere left the tomb,
And now, he’s giving life to hearts.

Let’s study then, the scriptures well;
Bereans be: look for yourself.
Review in depth when life begins,
Not leave His counsel on the shelf?

Shared In One Breath of Life

I smell the fruit
of the persimmon tree
and a haunting begins
as shivers run free

of the road ahead
and one laying behind
I sweep them all up
and out of my mind

as a shadow appears
and is far past the veil
his robes swung out
like wind in a sail

in his eyes is an evil
that glitters the dark
the cut of his mouth
like the score of a mark

his hair of serpents
reach out in glee
and it was then I held
my soul close to me

his reason for coming
was that I had sold,
my soul for a life
that no air does hold

but I found out, that
sometimes god forgives,
in my sacrifice was found
the very reason I live

someone had perished
so I could breathe air,
but what I would give now
if we could have just shared

Breath of Life

Let your inner self flow
Midst the tension of the outside world
Give in to the natural ebb of
Transcending activities and reveries
Without compromising your sanctum within
Float gracefully in the knowledge of who you are
Rest your spirit with every wave of doubt
Guard your truth with every single breath you have
Resist not every current that tries to rise you up to surface
For against it you drawn further
Gravity knows who deserves the breath of life
If you were to choose between opposite pulls of belief
Believe!
in the possibilities that honor your right to live
Rather than the impossibilities
That leave you gasping to death
Feel yourself one with everything that surrounds
Buoyant to the force around your soul
Holding breath for a moment is only a test
To find your reservoir of strength
You will never lose yourself
If you honor the choice of
Life!
