Best Braid Poems
woven into midnights braid
sunsets goodnight kiss charade
bowing low for curtain call
draped in heavens endless shawl
warmth exhaled in cooling rise
silent wings of butterflies
woven into midnights braid

Braid My Hair
Won’t you please braid my hair?
As you part your legs and I sit in between.
I feel the strength of your thighs as I close my eyes
And you comb those rough edges….
Tweaks of pain as you comb my mane.
Neither one of us verbal
But our spirits just won’t stop conversing…
As you braid my hair.
Come on and braid my hair.
As you lay parts for foundation
And fill each crease with that soothing oil
That nourishes my scalp….and my soul.
Once you’ve covered the entire dome
You massage that balm into my scalp…into my pores.
Your touch heals my sores and I have no choice
But to mute that negative voice…
As you braid my hair.
Just be patient and braid my hair.
As you grab strands and intertwine
My precious locks into rows so effortlessly…
So effectively.
I sit as a child in anticipation
Patiently awaiting the unveiling of your creation.
Will you accent my beauty or reveal my flaws?
In your eyes, do I even have flaws at all?
I sit still and tall only moving my head
According to your directions.
I have faith in your skill; I trust your protection.
We sit in peace and in calm.
There’s no place here for harm…not between you and I.
And since the rest of the world is out there
For them we have no care
As I heal you and you heal me….
As you braid my hair.
When you are done, I stand and behold your talent
Smiling at myself in the mirror like a little girl.
And you enjoy the thrill.
Who could have known two souls
Could bond so strongly through one simple action.
Your willingness to accept the challenge
And my faith in you for even asking
Is enough to send us both basking
To a spiritual place that we’ve both been lacking…
And I abruptly awake from the dream that I was having.
A dream that left me both sighing and laughing.
And I eagerly await the day that will come….
At some point in my life when I’ll ask you
Though bashfully…
Will you please braid my hair?
Melting cloud showers pearls on you,
shines the curls of ebony braid,
rave rapture wraps me, you’ve no clue.
Melting cloud showers pearls on you,
scarlet sun spreads heavenly hue,
crystals cascade with sparkling shade.
Melting cloud showers pearls on you,
shines the curls of ebony braid.

Braid by our Bonds
By Elaine Roy
We become like two shadows dancing; falling into the darkness
Were we are always waiting for the sun or moon light
T's the kiss of fondness, that a waits me; that moves my heart to unage thee
Thus within the bitter storms; we race to find each others arms
For there is no tear, that is every wasted my love; for it is within your tears, that brings me closer to your heart
For our hearts can not be torn or beseized
For within these trouble times we unveil, why our loving hearts beat
We have created a braid by our bonds
For some how even through the years; the braid remains tight but frayed
We seem to keep our hearts close and preveil
Braid-Choppers
There are roaming some scary ghost-like creatures called Braid-Choppers!
Who can jump over the high fences
And climb the walls of houses and cling-on like Spider-man, they say.
Peeping through the windowpanes at night , at beautiful women like you.
For me , for God's sake! O beauty-of-the-world :
Lock the door and drop the curtains of windows at night .
And ah! Don't mercy at the calling in-rags beggars in days.
And yes, wear veils --whenever you go out,
Wherever you go...!
When you're upset, you always run,
To a train, tram, or taxi.
You don't value anything anymore
And you yell "mercy" as you run.
When you're worried you play with change,
Which is ringing in your pocket.
You will braid your maiden's hair again
And think about a new plan.
You often eat alone,
Restaurants, cafes, even on the street.
No one will honor you
And you will slouch more.
You usually text your friends,
Or you are sitting enthusiastically on the web.
You use their services,
When you don't want to go anymore.
Lonely – written on your face,
"Lonely" her friends whisper after her,
Wind snow sweeps on an empty street,
The lights are out again in your house.
Booze can't warm your soul,
And the bar won't be a warm home.
Will you turn the music down again,
And you will dream of the unknown.
braid my hair
watch you stare
eyes evoke
words choke
coughing it off
cough cough cough
swallowing golf balls
fluffy cotton candys
how candid
hand me
your hand
blink twice
three times
do it faster
i love you
braid my hair
?
Sun rays slide across your face
Inviting silhouette artistic shades of love
Needling fingers plats a braid
Girl dad doing her hair not a fad
Little rituals she enjoys
Emerald ribbons matching joy
Doing all tasks of mom
And those of a daddy
Definitely a hero to your kids
