Best Bounce Poems

At times reality was a slap to the face
But it was something I had to embrace
It was hard to bounce back
While down path
But I didn't mind being an outcast
Now that
I understood how fast
This life was, as I watched the clouds pass
I did see
Divided teams
Which only reminded me
Beside a giant tree
Why others carried out actions violently
So I continued to move silently
Since I didn't want the attention
I headed my own direction
Without question
But continued to always respect kin
To the wild overgrown garden
of my age crammed mind
I keep returning, thirsting for
the nectar of neglected nights,
when moonlight shone in vain,
searching for scattered words
among the shadows of silence
urging myself to catch a whiff
of her fragrant sensual scent
where distant memories linger
dripping from dew laden boughs.
Clinging to false illusionary hope
I sift through densely mingled weeds
with wrinkled trembling hands…
frenzied feeble efforts, as aridness
suffocates the last breaths of existence.

these petals unfold
like thoughts of mind
heavy as the weight they bear
this benumbed september day
in the crux beyond a seed's gather
viscid drops of crimson red
carried off by wings of time
now daffing in the cooler air
the hive of mind
through torturous stings of past
grounds me thickset
in honey coated memories
i still taste the poison
lingered from your lips
bitterness of venomous lies
through death's astringent kiss
my love for you, it tarries
no greater than the buzz
amidst these dandelions
stomped upon your grave

Flitting and buzzing in a
playful, poetic dance
a whirr of delicate wings
crescendos and decrescendos
among a colorful carpet of
sumptuous, silky petals.
Daring drones speed dizzily about
barely resting, constantly competing
in a crazy chase for their sticky prize.
Swooning with drunken lust
they dream of its sappy sweetness
and long for its golden glory.
Insect tongues sip and suckle in tandem
greedily drinking with delight to the full.
Soon they whisk away with their
sticky stash to unseen combs.
And I wonder where they go
and how their delectable delight grows
in that hidden world that only nature knows.

I meander the winding pebble path
where the bumbles bounce . . .
holding back my sorrow and wrath,
for my beloved lay in eternal peace;
among bird songs that never cease.
A place of tears and grief alive with life,
oh, still I feel the pain- the knife;
where the bumbles bounce . . .
among the stone grave markers jewels bloom,
on many a plot, monument and tomb.
My love is deep- my sadness is deeper,
was not ready for that dark reaper;
oh, so quiet, secluded and serene,
where the bumbles bounce . . .
in this garden of death and green.
I see a butterfly and dragon fly,
and sparrows flutter from trees high;
quick, a squirrel, chipmunk and shy raccoon,
and now a song of love- I croon,
where the bumbles bounce . . .

Where bumbles bounce and witches fly
Faeries and jet streams in yesterday’s sky
I glance up and see an eagle so high
And I laugh at the juiciness of yesterday’s sky
They are hop skipping and flitting and fluttering too
The brownies and what-knots playing in diggery-doo.
My brain is on full delight energy mode kilter now
As I watch them spring forth with a kiss and a bow.
They give me that wink, the one I know well.
Mutter through supper, demanding yesterday’s bell.
I had forgotten the excitement of just sitting and watching.
The swish of the dragon’s tail, the water and sloshing.
It’s the dance of the bumbles, the rumbles, and more.
Dr. Seuss enters my head, running toward an old cottage door.
Library book smells come to me in drivels and drips.
It’s so much fun in the garden, with bumbles and bips.
Memories come fast, they land in my brain, screeching.
Remember the horror of reading about sucking and leeching?
Childhood gone, but the feelings are still right in there.
They come suddenly and hard, in this summer’s day air.

Moonlit Rays Bounce On Jasmine Scented Hair
She first came to me in the setting sun
her long searching soul wondrously agape
that June night dancing having youthful fun
in her arms, I begged for no escape.
Moonlit rays bounce on jasmine scented hair
as earth, time itself stood silently still
none matched or could her bluest eyes compare
for beauty's truth and grace of that night's thrill.
Days glory resplendent, hours were treasure
morns set each soft and deep romantic kiss
her heavenly touch was beyond measure
we sought heart's every moment not to miss.
She coming to me with the setting sun
I would again race to in a mad run.

Sonnet, ( Romantic fervor and sensual delights )
( Where In Youth A Great Treasure Was Once Found )
Note:
From a memory thus was born
feast of love and youthful kissing
she from my arms fatefully torn
heart shall forever be missing....
A small tree sits among
bouncing sparrows.
At this time of day
a groundhog may appear
over the edge of something earthy.
The world arrives each day
blaming no one,
the sky wipes its face
ten or more times a day.
Sun up, sun down,
people come and go
appear or disappear.
Forever, is just a walking dream.
Ten times a day or more
a sparrow will die in any flock,
many are born
from sky blue clouds.
The sparrows bounce.
squishy sodden miles
footfalls bounce
Spring waters my feet
Hogg went to market and bought trouble an ounce
A seedy dog barked so bad he had to pounce
The dog puked a tabby cat
And the cat big Hardy hat
An ounce of common sense, brat, a dead cat bounce
< Betty Boop bought boyfriend Bimbo some basketballs to bounce
But being blind her boyfriend Bimbo bounced Betty Boop
Boy Betty Boop did boldly bounce bad

Her Eyes Seem To Capture The One She Loves LOL
And Also One Of My Favorite Cartoons
There was a time I didn’t know my worth.
I didn’t know my purpose.,
I’d felt that way since birth.
I would talk to other girls at school,
but when they formed their cliques,
they did not find me “cool.”
Not cool enough to be part of their group.
I was just their sidekick who
got left out of the loop.
Broken, I was losing my strong will,
but neither was I the type
who could just stand still.
I looked for others like myself; boldly
I bounced back, giddy, in junior high school,
where I formed bonds of gold.
when someone you care for is filled with pain
life beats them again and again
just be there for them whenever they need
a good listener a true friend in deed
my friend has had a horriffic year
she is so kind so loving so sincere
my heart just aches for her
why does injustice occur
Lord I leave it all in your hands
at times we may never understand
there is injustice in every sense
without a doubt you will recompense
so give us the strength to hold on
cause vengeance is yours you've sworn
help us to endure each day
while you dear Lord make a way
Amen!

The goal of perfection for me is unattainable
But as I bumble along, my resolve is unshakeable
One day I'll announce
Got back my bounce
As I open my coffin and yell, “I'm still capable!”
you fall down
get off the ground
have set back
put on the rack
be a strong wall
BOUNCE BACK
LIKE BALL
