Best Boil Down Poems

Magnesium Love of the Write

Does it shimmer with confusion?
Quake with conclusion
Sulfate with the meanings residue
confound and astound you?
Does it rake and equivocate
Does it boil down and resonate
Does it shake your foundation and destroy your
condemnation?

If so your getting it right

Seasons of Affairs

The deadly air of autumn’s blow
Empowered winter’s cold to flow,
But spring’s warmness began to grow
Releasing summer’s smoothing glow.

It started out as a mer gaze,
Bringing my lonely heart ablaze,
We were lost in a lovely maze
Surviving the long autumn days.

Can we handle the freezing cold?
The one that wraps us close and hold
Unto each other like glimmering gold
As time stops, turning us into winter’s mold.

We slit in half when spring arrived
As I believed love was thrived,
I felt you had my heart revived
But it was clear you were contrived.

Now summer begins to boil down
And I can see all your endless frown,
You indeed fooled me like a clown
So now I watch our affair slip, drown.

Summer was to bring us together,
But spring showed we’re light as feather,
In winter we were twined with tether,
Did you enjoy autumn’s weather?

Crash

I twist and turn, I grasp and grab.
Is there any foothold?
Any crevice or jutting edge
That my fingers may find lodgings?
The wind zips past me in cold blasts,
Sucking along what lil’ air my nostrils find.
I open my mouth to yell; …nothing.
Despite the wind’s fury and howling,
I feel perspiration break out on my face.
That is the cold sweat of fear.
The knowledge that all that I have ever done;
The good, the bad, and the, well, not so good
All boil down to this moment.
The space between the top of the ledge and the bottom.
Time fades away and loses import.
My life flashes before my eyes like distorted parts of many movies,
Not the sweet memories of Christmas,
Nor the sweet smell of beans and plantains
Wafting in from the kitchen…
No.
It’s the thought of all that I could have done,
The memories of all the things that I did wrong
And all the things I could and should have done right.
The things I did not do.
And as the bottom draws nearer,
And the end sweeps up with that feeling of inevitability,
I feel only one taste in my mouth;
Regret.
And then …nothingness………
Thud!

Me and You

I know sometimes the mist prevails,
Each step you take leaves no tread
Words and thoughts seem odd and foreign
Like a book you've never read

Sometimes I see the fear in your eyes
When things don't seem the same
Sometimes just a question forms
When pictures don't have names

I'll make you laugh as long as I can
Dry your tears whenever they fall
Hold you tight when thunder sounds
Whatever - I'll conquer it all

But should life boil down to the here and now
And exist just this moment or two
That's enough for me to live
If that moment..
Is me and you

A Grave Loss

The sins that summon the grave beneath
A sorrow that stares right at the wreath
Blossoming hope within our heart
To one day find a whole new start
The sky so blue yet full of you
The words once spoken also so true
A stirring boil down to loss
The price we pay is what we cost

Penny for your thoughts is what they cry
The response that all of us will one day die
With tears that drown the grave beneath
The understanding that we bequeath

The Consequences of Love!

Does the meaning of life just boil down to one thing?
Does God's essence get stoned by the praise that folks give Him?
Might love have more impact on hearts in a vacuum
Where nothing retards it or cares about craters
That form in full view (by the way) of spectators?

Can love shine when it's dressed up in entropy's gains
Of low temp differentials where thought's disappointing
And hearts aren't impacted for days (should we bother?)
Can all be disorder dark matter's eclipsing?
Is dust the star witness to light that's collapsing?

Now there's beauty revealed in deep space once thought dark
And there's so much to learn though our memory flickers!
Is Logic a constant that lives out of time's reach?
Let specters that haunt us one day prove poor actors!
Does metered rhyme serve man? I laugh at detractors!

Freedom

What does it mean to be free?

Does it mean that you live in a place

where you can choose who you want to be?

Take on the world and mold it

in a shape you want to see.

Say what you want to say,

laugh or cry, smile or weep;

take a step forward each day,

or just be still and contemplate

the workings of the Milky Way.

Does it all boil down to having options?

Is this total freedom? Or just one kind?

And what happens after you make decisions?

Does it bring peace to your turbulent mind?

Or guarantee happiness delivered to you

in an envelope all sealed and signed.

Then again, am I asking the right questions?

Or missing the point entirely

What is more important?

To know what freedom is really

or if you can truly ever be free?

Boundlessly. Completely. Essentially.

Changes

the tears fall, but i'm not crying...

manage to put a smile on my face, but i'm not happy...

i look in your eyes and tell the truth...

i look deeper into my own heart and find the lies...

the truth unfolds like our favorite stories end...

mix the truth and the lies; that's where the beginning ends...

we all love to hear the story...

  but at what cost?...

still crying over being happy...

smiling when we are sad...

when is it going to change?...

when is it going to end?...

why am "i" so hard to find?...

how can my emotions be so hard to locate?...

tears still fall over joy...

pain still causes me to smile...

what is this life for?...

what are you waiting for?...

do i need to spell out my personalities?...

and yes i did say "ties"...

if you have not finished my story and fit the pieces together...

let me spell it out for you...

READY?!!!...

C.O.M.P.L.I.C.A.T.E.D

we all love love...

but yet we all hate...

we seem to run after what we love to hate...

cherished dreams boil down to hateful anxiety...

when is it going to change?...

when is it going to end?...

when does complicated narrow down to complex?...

is it so hard to comprehend?...

i still love love...

i still hate hate...

when is it going to end?...

when is it going to change?...

The Sad Truth

While you spend the time intellectualizing and politicizing Jodiann's death
Remember someone pickney dead
Because of discrimination and power play let's call it as it is .

A child don't have her mother.

Yes another report comes out without hope because a nuh one big man pickney dead
My question is ...would you want anyone to treat your pickney suh
Mi afraid to cough and sneeze because you will think is COVID-19 ...you think you any better than them doctor...just watch your own reaction when someone cough and sneeze ...yuh ask is that COVID-19

Discrimination is real

Many call for Tufton to resign ...a him did discriminate?
In case you never hear... he was never there.
Stop the politics and call out the doctor them name
Because them never care.
There was a time when doctors believe that all lives matters but today mi question that
Now a child without her mother
A mother without a daughter
A sister without her sister
And a lover without his mate
Just because a doctor discriminate
they never cared
At the end of the day that what it boil down to ...them never care .. only their life matters.

Scorn

Through in through,
Show this scar.
Dust it pours,
Falling far.

Through the fingertips,
And in the air.
Emotions boil down,
Giving it your share.

Tears you bring,
White dress shine.
Flowers escape,
In due time.

I'm calling,
The dig down,
It pumps red,
Gentile sound.

In breathe,
Beyond words,
"I want,"
All heard.

Eyes locked,
Hands torn,
Feet move,
You're scorn.

Compromise
(politicians Can’t spell it much less do it)
Thoughts: of Miracle Man
11/4/2021

It doesn’t boil down, to either me, or you,
As Americans, we’re packed into the same canoe.

While some man the oars, far too many, just ride,
and with White House mandates we’re forced to abide.

Politicians are intent on playing a Political party game,
if they sink the canoe, won’t we all drown the same?

but a poor roof.”

Withdrawn

withdrawn
stepped back
detached
broke away
isolated
drew backwards
unresponsive
drew inwards
moved away
emotionally
reverted backwards
to a time in which
nothing existed
between two
hearts
never looked back
upon the love once
felt
what a crying shame
that years of existence
could all boil down to
mean nothing what so
ever but a waste of time

100 Daze

The media made quite a fuss
To show a minus as a plus
But Biden made clear
Our problems this year
All boil down to us against us!

Mercy and Justice

The smell of blood dominated the field
but to the culprit, He had put a shield
Where is justice?
Did he not deserve to be punished?

The whole nation rebelled against him.
Drove his patience boil down to a steam.
He lost is reward, by that one thing
He still chose to be forgiving

Getting stoned, is hard to forget
He felt every hit closer to death
Determine to pardon everyone who take part
He still smiled with his open heart

Do justice and mercy go together?
Seems like evil has it's own way
To escape the trial and deal with it's crime
But someone promised, there will come a time

Mercy, Mercy, who has the right to wield you?
Justice, Justice, are you even true?
The clock is ticking when will we hear his gavel?
The judge silently examining the rebels

He hears the whispers and cries
of all people on all nations
Soon enough everyone will witness
his vindication and justification

Jah is a rock! He will not be moved or swayed
Mercy wil be given, Justice will come in play
At the end of the system of things, the revelation,
sheep will be separated from goats on that day

Today's Day

no matter what they say on television
outside the trees grow indifferently
it's very strange to see nothing
scattered in the kitchen cupboard
all you can do is exclaim oh lord
you see the bills hanging
on the magnets stuck to the fridge
fluttering like the leaves on the trees
the light wind agonizes
and drowns out the sound of despair
that has already reached the edge
we used to joke about it
the exponential advance
of everything that is negative
it just seemed like a runaway world
so things changed quickly
and began to boil down to blood
soon the silence returns disturbing
I look inside the closet again
and it looks untrue
is the sad picture of poverty
the last cereal box is expired
but that's ok because the milk too
