Love
knows
no age
or beauty
Love
knows
no rich
or poor
Love
knows
no religion
or race
Love
knows
no straight
or gay
Love
knows
no boundary
or reason
Love
knows
no distance
or time
Love
knows only
the rapid beating
of a giving heart sublime
My heart skips a beat my love each and every time
I’m with you my dearest sweet and lovely Darling
Since the passions and feelings you stir in me
Touch the very depth of my inner being and soul
And render themselves not to mere words only
Suitable for depiction, exhibition, understanding
Rather to the image and strength of your beauty
And your rapturous desire and feeling as they
Defy rational attempts at any simple description
For you are the most radiant beyond all compare
My heart skips a beat my love when we lie together
Locked in a most enchanting embrace and kissing
So deeply, palpably that we run out of breath and pant
Anxiously at what comes next in our mutual longing
And crescendo as our passions explode and express
Themselves in a most hungry trail of urges and desires
Which makes finding love for us all the more magical
Pairing us together like a couple of star-struck kids
Lost impossibly in moments of hope and imagination
In a timeless world of love, desire, emotion, and oneness
My heart skips a beat my love when we walk so closely
Hand-in-hand talking, laughing, and living our dreams
Confronting the world and taking on whatever comes
Next as we steer our ship of destiny on a true course
Where our like-thoughts and deep love for each other
Mean something quite special that only Dreamers and
Poets can imagine and set to melody and harmony in perfect
Verses of sheer passion and delight painted onto a canvas
Of unending happiness where Heaven and Earth are one
My heart skips a beat my love when we’re forever one

Dare We Beat Evil With Truth And A Heavy Sledge
Fresh rain pounded out cleaning again our Mother earth
above squirrels chattering for all they are worth
what matters is in this life we simply obey
do our very best and sometimes we kneel to pray
for guidance and follow the dear heaven-sent light
develop fully our brains to see with true sight
see glittering stars above, know our God is love
face off squarely and with heart deal world's push and shove
such gives us dear Lord's blessings and truth to walk straight
walk proud as we live, remember it's not too late
share our happiness with family and our friends
with conviction know Heaven be ours in the end.
Dare we beat evil with truth and a heavy sledge.
With our faith know wisdom and truth gives us the edge.

Drum beat
The sound of hearts
Beating to love's smooth rhythm
Sometimes a brokenhearted tune
Hoping for another chance at love's oft
Moody melodic emotions
That dance upon lyrics,
The beat goes on...

Not Missing Love’s Beat
Not missing love’s beat . . . .
Sails to you this golden bright morning rising so high
Sails waving with light, joy, and such promise and hope
One smile gasping breathless always for you my love
As you walk with me deeply into Eden’s very paradise
Dancing my heart love on that yellow brick road of dreams
Dying to be with you my love forever and ever and ever
Dreams inside of eternal youth with my heart pounding so
Awaiting the very day to come when I stand before you
Down on bended knee holding your hands warmly smiling
Kissing each and every single fingertip so exquisitely
I shall ask you to be forever and always with me my love
You will be my Queen with dazzling jewels of an ocean wide
The other heartbeat echoing as two becomes one complete
Our thirst for love and passion is almost unquenchable
And my very psyche is afire with excitement when we caress
Sleeping at night my love brings me into your dream world
Where it’s me and you and you and me together floating
Through the very ether of time breathing rarefied air so
Deliciously as we’re hopelessly mesmerized in true love
When I awaken from our nocturnal dream trance so joyously
We hold one another so lovingly and caress so warmly at once
We kiss passionately and longingly in a most sublime spirit while
Not missing love’s beat . . . .

Your Beautiful Heart Doth Beat
Your beautiful heart doth beat with rapture,
And the sweet of your kiss doth now swoon me.
We caress now and my soul you capture;
My love no place other I wish to be!
When we embrace my love in joy and fun,
Our hot passions spark an alchemic fire.
Our spirits soar high now becoming one,
Affirming love only God can inspire!
Your heart beats a brilliant tempo of love,
That enchants our eternal souls replete.
It’s God’s gift to us from Heaven above,
And His divine love is true and complete!
To God now I pray your love forever;
I declare my love leaving you never!

A brand new car is what I love,
Love the body, the new car smell,
So to local luxury garage I drove,
that’s where I met lovely Shantelle!
Bright blue was the colour in mind,
A four wheel drive good for snow,
For my golf kit, lot of space behind,
A shapely front, as men will know!
I was shown to a desk at the rear,
Sitting in her chair was Shantelle,
Divine looks, heart stopping stare,
Like a Sharon Stone, behind a Dell!
What transpired? I can’t remember!
Who spoke and if anything was said?
My mind stoned my legs were timber,
Was I dreaming? Was I still in bed?
Later in the open, to show me the car,
She walked like she was on catwalk,
Blue skin tights kept my mouth ajar,
Her pretty smile was her sales talk!
The blue she wore, was blue I love,
every breath I took was her perfume,
She was so close, when I test drove,
my eyes on her, eyes focus and zoom!
The deal was done, the car was sold,
Shantelle I loved, not the four by four!
Ignored the price, paid what I was told,
Borrowed from a bank, to settle score!
Stone by stone every necklace grows,
Drop by drop, love and ocean soar,
Shantelle I wed, with marriage vows,
Now we are four, in our four by four!

Forever
Insatiable
Thrashing out the tempo of life
Misses a beat when presented with strife
Within Private chambers
initials inscribed
Etched with a promise
None but one can revive
If I could be the blanket,
That kept your body warm.
I’d be right beside you,
Weathering every storm.
I’d shade you from the sun,
And hold you in the rain.
My chest would be the pillow,
As I eased away your pain.
You’d never have to worry,
And feel unloved again.
You’d never feel the cold,
Within the bed I’m in.
You’d always have a smile,
I’d never, do you wrong.
And right beside my heart,
You rightfully belong.
All I do is whisper,
And hope you hear it too.
No matter where I choose to go,
My heart will beat for you.
[NOTE:This is just a bit of silly fun]
Beat out this rhythm baby,
You can surely do it baby,
Beat out this rhythm to the clock!
Beat out this rhythm baby,
There’s no room in it, for maybe,
Do it, with a goofball in a sock!
There, is no room for error,
We can pull this off together,
Beat out our rhythm with your sock!
If you feel you cannot play,
Try it out, another day,
Our rhythm will, never cease to shock!
So:
Beat out our rhythm baby,
There’s no room in here for maybe,
Never mind those people who will mock!
Beat out the rhythm baby,
Do it like your acting crazy,
Smash up everything that’s in the shop!
Listen to the beat of life, hear its thunder,
yet underneath lurks a murmuring whisper.
Some days almost unheard, others louder
always there it taunts, teasing like a lover.
Deep within you know who makes this whisper,
it is life itself ticking away as you falter.
Yes now it shows its face as it comes closer,
our old friend death claims us with loud clamour.
Lonesome on the beat and path;
I am lonesome on the Beat way.
On the Road with Jack Kerouac
and having a lunch naked with William S. Burroughs,
while listing to Allen Ginsberg
telling us how he saw the minds of his generation
go with madness.
The red heads and the brunettes
lost all their ways
as they go down on one-another.
Women in white lingerie
killed as the boys in blue jeans
kill each other with laughter and foolish jokes.
Agree with me,
if you may;
and paraphrase if you would, please do,
to see if I have gone mad,
or just talking outside of the box.
I walk alone, lonesome with books of dead poets,
trying to become my own person,
losing that war to me, myself and I.
Hold close to me, but don't stare into my eyes,
for you'll fall madly in love with me,
or grow mad yourself
and feel my pain.
Can you still remember
How it used to be
The poetic fire we had
When our pens were chemistry
The dance floor was full
But it was only you and me
Your gentle whisper
How you could set me free
In my mind you were in my arms
Could not resist your sweet charms
Can you still remember
It's not too late
These hearts can beat again
If I can find the words
Girl, just breathe me in
You never know until you try
This could be hello, not goodbye
We could start anew
Make it like before
Your perfect lines
Make me long for more
Until finally then...
These hearts can beat again
Can you still remember
When you were my island girl
Separated by ocean waves
Still we gave love a whirl
You were the painter's canvas
I was the painter's brush
Every stroke was magic
A masterpiece.. My rush
All the inhibitions fell away
Lover's lyric the music played
Can you remember
It's not too late
These hearts can beat again
If I can find the words
Girl, just breathe me in
You never know until you try
This could be hello, not goodbye
We could start anew
Make it like before
Your perfect lines
Make me long for more
Until finally then...
These hearts can beat again
So, God I'm begging please
Down on the floor
See me on my knees
Make it like before
When I close my eyes
Bring me to her coast
Melting all my whys
Until she's so close
That she remembers
It's not too late
These hearts can beat again
If I can find the words
Girl, just breathe me in
You never know until you try
This could be hello, not goodbye
We could start anew
Make it like before
Your perfect lines
Make me long for more
Until finally then...
These hearts can beat again

Note: This write is about two poets who used to have such powerful chemistry that it was almost like a romantic dance. But something has happened to that chemistry.. and the longing poet is pulling on remembrance in the hopes of sparking again what once burned bright.
If you could peak in the inside of my heart,
you would have no doubt that it beats for you.
For without you it would have no rhythm
or flow.
I am so elated to share my life with you.
You make my life worth living!!!!!!
Before you, I just existed in this vast universe.
You gave my life a reason and a purpose.
It is such an honor to be your mother.

How different we are
And in the way we act
In love and romance
A heart filled pact
It can start out so good
To a thunderous applause
And fall by the wayside
Just because
Corners are turned
Sometimes we go the same way
And sometimes round the same corner
We can go slightly astray
At the start of it all
To the table we bring
But somewhere along the road
Different hearts, beat on different strings
