Under star filled skies,
The ocean recites its verse:
For the pallid moon.

Aquatic

Zapholus was once his name
One and alone since the storm
Empty oceans, without claim
Nestled him where he was borne

Octopi then made him strong
Round he grew, and twice as long
Mates he saw on a beach
Attacked a male to them reach
Now you know the sea lion's song

New Aquatic Species

Science in all fascination has discovered a species aquatic

Theorizing this new yet old species remained hidden as Merman

only to live in secret at the oceans floor the mermaid a tribe indigenous

once said to be myth yet all proof and technology film does not lie

Tsunamis has given the ocean a true glance of the man with webbed hands

The species communes with dolphins will be under a microscope to analyze ?

Into the cool crisp water the swimmers plunge,
from high above the divers arch like liquid silver;
aquatic Olympics is my favorite sport of all others,
Oh, how I admire the swimmers and the high drivers.

The women with their perfect bodies so lovely,
gliding through the crystal blue with a sweet goal;
dedication and determination has brought them here,
and when they reach the wall they rise up as water cascades.

Oh, the men, strong and powerful with muscles,
flying in that emerald blue mighty with endurance;
they seem unstoppable until they emerge dripping wet,
like a wild waterfall the drops falls off their beautiful bodies.

Yes, it is the swimming and diving for this girl,
I, so admire their perseverance, patience, excitement;
years of training and a positive attitude has made them,
winners even if they do not get Gold, Silver, or even Bronze.

Aquatic Version 2

Zanthalous was one time his name
On the shores where his parents dwelt
Endings came with the hurricane
April storms ravaged his pelt

Under stormy seas he was swept
Going south even as he slept
Until the icy lands
Shoals above rock sands
This sea's fish he came to accept

Alone so long, he finally saw them
New Mates. For this, by the bull he was condemned
One male attacked him
Rushed, and lost a limb
Made Zanthalous king in land by sea hemmed

And so ends the tale of the Finn-like Sea Lion
None else so well follows the path of Orion

Aquatic Home

Aquarium with green lush moss gives a fish a habitat
Ph is an important part not too low, neutral is a safe state
Overfeeding is a disaster such unpleasant smells and algea blooms
you'll want to move into another room
Across the tank the fish like to swim darting in between plant leaves.
Snails like to stick on the walls eating little algea pieces and water fleas.
Snails are tastey to the old clown loach He can crunch and munch.
Trapdoor, mystery purple and orange, olive nirite look like little Mr. Magoos
Mystery is the most beautiful if ever in the notion to adopt a snail pet.
Beware potassium permanganese can kill snails and shrimp.
Cherry red shrimp are the cutest little guys; only an inch long full grown.
No better swimmer has ever been known!
Marimo is a legend of the orient kept for good luck and serenity.
Koi are not coy so don't be decieved they get quite large and spit for attention.
Gold fish are such a simple little fish bright and personable
Gold fish have a lot of ammonia which causes the fin rot.
Aquariums are not for the easily discouraged....
Fish are a wonderful enjoyment but sadness overcomes when life is cut short.

The Life Aquatic

I donned my best Sunday working coveralls
Plopped the hardhat on my waiting head.
Just another twelve hours of service rendered
To an employer who cares not if im live or dead

Ive seen days and months and years fly by
As I travel horizons far and wide
You become bitter to the loves lost along the way.
But you learn to bury the pain deep inside.

Ive fought with men with hardened hearts
Who poured out their hurts in the fists they threw.
But in the next Port of Call all was forgiven
And you would share an ale or two.

The land dwellers never witness the struggles of this life
Or the burdens of each cross we bear
Or how much we anticipate coming home.
And falling into loving arms that still miss and care.

Ive seen young lads come up the gangway
Thinking they have found an adventurers paradise
And watch their smiles turn to grimmaces
Once the sea steals their soul and life.

Its a job unlike no other
Where your gone for months that just drag on
And when you finally make it home again
You find your feeling like you dont belong.
