My Allegiance I Vow

To my terra of roots
my allegiance I vow
I wallow in your fruits
and to your flag I bow.

Dream not till wake of dawn
beaming sun light I wait
burst of glee of no bourn
the feels of the soul, sate.

Awe chills into my spine
as your Hymn in pride sung
for Home in peace I pine
and love never be swung.

How could my pen, you turn
in a fine rhyming word
as my quill longs to learn
inking with grace and verve.

My Pledge of Allegiance

"My Pledge of Allegiance"
by: Eric L. Boddie

I Pledge Allegiance To The Word
Because there is no greater sound I've ever heard
I Pledge Allegiance To The Son
Because His Sacrifice Allows me Earthly Life And Beyond
I Pledge Allegiance To The Father
Because He Loves me better than any other
I Pledge Allegiance To The Holy Ghost
Because His Level Of Power Is By Far The Most
I Pledge Allegiance To His Love
Because It Protects me from danger and things thereof
I Pledge Allegiance To His Teachings
Instead of the one who is doing the Preaching
I Pledge Allegiance To His Every Commandment
It takes both, Reading And Prayer, To Understand It
I Pledge Allegiance To His Work
Even if it leads me to where evil lurks
I Pledge Allegiance To His Holy Fight
Because i truly want to bask in Heaven's Light
I Pledge Allegiance To His Faith
Because nothing is more Beautiful than His Grace
No flag, no nation, no constitution....I know so many will say that is odd
But I am just one of His Children, my Only Allegiance Is To God

Premium Member I Pledge Allegiance To a Dream

I pledge allegiance to a dream
embodied in the fabric of a flag.
A flag imbued with hope
tarnished by fear
bloodied of necessity.
This flag, this weary tattered symbol
of what we strive to be.
Countless men and women
have bled, grieved, died
not to glorify a symbol
but to defend an idea, an ideal
keep our fragile hopes alive
make our dreaming possible.
This flag does not speak
It needs our voices
It does not weep
It needs our tears
It does not forget
it must mourn
those who swore allegiance
to its dreams.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.
And to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God
With liberty and justice for all."

The Lord Jesus Christ spoke to me and gave me specific instructions. Number one I was to post The Pledge of Allegiance on all of my websites. Number two was to post the Lord's prayer also. My latest instruction was to post the 23rd Psalm.

The Lord's prayer

Our father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on
Earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts as
We forgive our debtors. And
Lead us not unto temptation.
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
And the power and the
glory forever.

Fall's Allegiance

Autumn leaves dance in the wind
As it's breath awakens the trees
The limbs tremble in defiance
As they try to resist the breeze

The trees shiver in the cool morning air
As the dew gives way to the frost
They know their armor will soon be gone
For all of their leaves will be lost

Winter stands ready to enter the stage
And for Autumn to relinquish it's hold
It's time for Winter to abandon it's slumber
And Autumn must welcome the cold

Winter demands Fall's allegiance
Like a General shouting commands
Autumn must follow it's orders
For the time of change is at hand

Winter's cold winds show restraint
As Autumn surrenders in shame
The trees bow in silence
With only Winter to blame

Winter takes it's rightful place
'Til Spring revenges Fall's death
But Winter will battle until the end
'Til it breathes it's final breath

I Pledge Allegiance

Counterfeit in politics a prerequisite
For sale by owner, got cash, you can buy
Their influence
God Bless America and all the Capitalists
Starting vanity wars, to the public's pleasing
Forget humanity, we don't need a good reason
You've got a resource, we'll exploit
And criminalize all you endorse
Comply or die, our foreign policy
Ain't about you..it's about me!
The American dream..
Forget about your culture
Cause it's about to get raped
Your new God's the dollar
Won't assimilate?
You just took your last breath
Suckers thinking about escape
The hypocrisy of democracy
Disguised with the mask of liberty
Cause ain't nobody here truly free
The only saving grace
Of infiltration to western waste
Is absolute power corrupts absolutely
Even residents of an establishment
For the people by the people
Have become blase
Sitting and thinking about
What would our forefathers have to say?

Pledge of Allegiance, Revisited

I Pledge Allegiance
a solemn vow of obedience, from the earliest age of grievance,
when found deliverance, one people, united against tyranny and intolerance,
become the model of democracy and toleration

To The Flag
the symbol of once colonization come together in celebration,
a new unconquerable nation, a successful castration,
of oppression and dictation

Of The United States Of America
a conglomeration of peoples form one nation,
13 colonies a single relation, one voice, one oration,
tread on me, expect retaliation

And To The Republic
a democracy, its creation, the Constitution, its foundation,
agreeable to all in origination, fiercely guarded against demolition,
militarization, and impregnation, over all these years, still on station

For Which It Stands
the protector of all oppressed lands, the world over she lends a hand,
her signature, her blood, in foreign sand

One Nation
from sea to sea, whether rich or poor, some vocal, others, chose to ignore,
those who guard the shore, those who knock on heavens door,
one nation, esprit de corps

Under God
in a time when belief was strong, today, should not be wrong,
having been with us so very long, a few may sing a different song,
most will believe, as they have, all along

Indivisible
one, as a whole number, cannot be divided by any other,
many have tried under guise of brother, only to be denied by the mother

With Liberty And Justice For All
the means to end all oppression, infinitely wrong with transgression,
succession, regression, and repression along

Our Pledge of Allegiance
a pledge of a nation, a history profound, one indivisible number,
all it takes, to be no longer allowed

My Pledge of Allegiance

I pledge allegiance to each self-loving, self-made individual
Whose sole need of men is force-free profitable trade,
Who judges aims and acts with his own thinking mind
And stands proud to receive judgment, sure and unafraid.

I pledge allegiance to the state of individual rights,
The law-bound republic of only private property---
Private flesh and thoughts and lands and tools and lives,
Where each man holds the wheel of self-responsibility.

I pledge allegiance to the rationally selfish self,
And to the happiness on earth that each may find;
And I pledge totally against the death-blow evils of altruism---
Communism, socialism, fascism, religion and environmentalism.

I pledge allegiance to life---human life above all other--
Actual life above potential---fact above wishing.
I pledge allegiance to me; yes, to me I pledge allegiance;
With myself and by myself and to myself, I pledge allegiance.

Premium Member Allegiance of Mini-Kingdoms

Let me begin by declaring
a well known cliche:
our skin does not define us,
nor does our place of birth
define our worth.

And yet we are scattered
across the globe,
sometimes whole oceans,
separating us.
We see countless borders
that man has made
serving the purpose
of temporal order.
And what a fickle creature
is this race of Man.
With flags speared into the sand,
time and time again.
You wonder what it's all coming too,
to what possible end?
Taking ganders at the past,
looksies at the ancient,
never hurt a soul.
If we don't know the origins
how can we hope to devise a goal?

Some say these lines in the sand
divide us so - but is this true?
Does it not show respect for your fellow man:
your way is not my own,
but, please, if you will,
let me share my truth
and you do the same.

I believe in the Sovereignty of Nations,
the Allegiance of mini-Kingdoms.
I believe that Charity, however well spun, with the best of intentions,
cannot be coerced with sticks and stones,
that archaic method - it must be written on our hearts,
on our very souls. Not in the Manuscripts of Man
will you find such power as the one pumping in our veins.
To Salvation's Sky, to our Savior's Loving Stare,
Rules and Regulations will never take us there.
Legislated Robbery does not compassion make,
for it only serves to pin
Neighbor against Neighbor,
Gender against Gender.
How can human freedom be so readily forsaken
with the perilous pens of other fallible men?

We are One People,
One Race, flying the
banner of peace and love.
No one desires war,
no one willingly
looks for discord.
And yet here we are:
fighting battles
that none can afford.
The chaos of the earth
is the collective reflection
of the Human Heart.
If you want change to occur
that's a fine place to start.

NOTE: I like to think of myself as a hardcore libertarian with a strong moral fiber. I don't always agree with the absurd antics of others, but recognize that people have a right to make their own bad decisions.

Pledge Not the Allegiance

It's the third verse,
I got the urge to purge
All the curt words I've splurged,
I've submerged in sin,
I'll go to church repent,
Then go curse again,
Lets reverse this trend
We nurse tolerance,
When it might offend,
If I white wash my fence,
So try to not get tense,
When I do not defend,
Those who chose to be dense
And not use their two cents,
To show kids the reverence,
For the pledge of allegiance.

War and Allegiance

It was there, in lands afar, where
War knew nothing of disdain and mar

Where winds wafted zest amongst cavalry,
And dignity was a line drawn upon rivalry

It was a time when death beheld justice,
And when the sinful held torment for injustice

It was when nobility was a statue of gold,
And when religion, in word and action, was told

There was infidelity yes! Disloyalty, and deceit,
But goodness then, would always be there to compete

It is death today… it is venom in blood,
It is only plight, and fear of all but God…

Premium Member The Liberal Pledge of Allegiance

I, ex-conservative, do swear
The liberal view beyond compare,
Obama’s term, all heaven knows,
Like sweet lush grass between our toes,
Conservatives of good intent
As rare as bread from heaven sent.
I kneel before my liberal friends
And pledge my heart to make amends,
You stood by me when still a geek
Forgiveness mine, no need to seek,
Helped me to see the longer view,
Rejoin what Nixon split in two,
Let all of us forget our pride
And bury hatchets far and wide.
Let politics work as it should,
With give and take, sweet brotherhood.

Pardon Mine Allegiance To Infidelity

Unfaithful marital transgressions
self admitted indictment,
crime and punishment,
no longer think high lee
entailing no mister re: demeanors,
I searingly weathered

(George by bushed, albeit thankfully,
no unwanted child left behind),
nonetheless one unforgettable
indelible, execrable, and abominable
professedly owned his
civil warring battle of life

transgressions undeservedly heaped
(Uriah hit about that)
(carnal feral hormonally seething
gone astray nightwalks)
woven by basket of deplorable
emotionally painful selfish object lesson

forever etched upon mine psyche
(left by one bobbing sponge -
cheeses crust station of his life
within sea of human life now
affixes moniker re: mister crabs)
inflicted courtesy yours truly

said marital indiscretion (philandering)
one among many issues discussed,
during treatment plan earlier today
February eighteenth 2020
concerning complex edifice
regarding mein kampf

existential bleak house
(figuratively crowded cheek to jowl)
with and hard times
fraught with many
unattained great expectations
unwittingly accepts psychological fallout

(among kissing kith and kin,
a shellfish chicken and hen thing for sure),
despite years elapsed ex post facto
deploying, incorporating, narrating, signifying...
narcissistic, opportunistic, and phlegmatic
self incriminating doom
visualize deus ex machina

betrayal rendered adopted smugness
invariably set in motion domino effect,
whereby emotional alienation
devastation, humiliation, maturation, suppuration
(yoking impossible mission
to shuck off penitence, the price to pay),

thus rightfully, truthfully, and veritably...
ably, readily, and willingly
allowing, enabling, and providing
incomplete resolution, (hence iresolution)
thwarting rancor thy deux daughters
(livingsocial many time zones distant)
embark quest to guide their own

metaphorical maiden voyaging ships of state
countless transpired hours
at counseling facility, where poetic papa
aired and mulled over bothersome
anguish to complete requisite treatment plan
to receive psychiatric appointment
next (and last) Tuesday of February 2020.

Pledge Allegiance To the Lamb

I never really thought about it until I was listening to a song
But that's why Cassie Bernall is dead today
Because she was making a stand to pledge allegiance to the lamb
And what she said woke up a lot of people of all ages!!!

She just said one word
Oh but the impact that word had on the world
Because it's a challenge to everyone as a person
To take a look inside and see if your relationship is right with God.

It sounded like she was just a normal teenager
Who most likely wouldn't of said what she did
If it hadn’t of been for Jamie inviting her to go on a youth retreat
So, Jamie, I'm sure that her parents want to say "thank you".

The song is entitled "I Pledge Allegiance To The Lamb"
When I heard that song for the first time after her death
I said, "that song was written for and in memory of Cassie"
Because she pledged allegiance to her Lamb.

Wilderness edible forests,
to hungry mothers,
became wild undomesticated wastelands
to commodifying and taxing FatherLand patriarchs.

Wilderness matriarchs once Pledged Allegiance to the Sun,
and Gratitude to GrandMother Moon
for both interdependent fullness
and new womb emptiness,
grace-filled promise
of future healthy integrity,
pregnant with promising fertility.

We pledge allegiance and gratitude to our Sun,
One Icon of our First Native Nations and Wilderness Tribes,
reforesting and harvesting indivisibly synced
under and within SkyMother Earth
with liberty to not be unpatriotically bullied
to rescind each democratic individual's right
to equal liberty of mind and heart and body,
and forest wilderness ecojustice
for all GrandMother Moon's health planting
and wealth harvesting children,
Moon-matriotic matriarchs
and Sun-patriotic patriarchs.

Expressing grateful loyalty within
wilderness edible forests,
to and for hungry parents and grandparents,
becoming wildly domesticated fertile lands and waters
co-arising fire-lit atmospheric climates
to cooperatively commodify
and sacredly deify
and co-invest Mother EarthTribe
matriarchs rewombing
maturing matriarchs with patriarchs,
born equally of transubstantiating Sacred SunLight,
Love,
Grace
breeding and feeding
cooperatively owned Gratitude
of sun-drenched EarthTribes.

Could our polycultural history of sun worship
trump mere nationalistic supremacist flagships
for more sustainable healthcare
within patriot/matriot-balancing
multiculturing identity?
