Midnight rides—his pulse aligns with the thunder beneath him
fingers tracing her curves polishing fire into steel.

Wind against his skin she sings beneath him once more
Saturday mornings spent bathing her shine in devotion

One last glance—wait for me—before stepping inside
his grip firm not on the world but the rhythm of her frame.

The highway fades yet she alone knows the way home
rain or shine she waits unwavering at his door

Twilight drapes them in gold two shadows stretching as one
beautiful chrome heart racing—her name dissolving into the wind.

December - a Time To Remember

December – A Time to Remember

Deep into Fall, as brown wrinkly-faced leaves wave adieu
Ebony evening sky twinkles with rhinestone-studded stars
Chilly winds blow … a sign that winter’s just next door
Erubescent sunsets flaunt their majestic golden crowns
Mingling with gray and white patches of layered cotton-white clouds
Beautiful, ruling planet Jupiter aligns with Venus and Mars
Ever the auspicious harbinger of wisdom, prosperity, and power…
Reminding my mother of the day I, her first child, was born.

I Owe You

I owe you

The seeds of wonder sown into my land
The deep well of true feel I'm drawn into
The height and breadth of visions that expand
The magic of music, a deep world view.

You awe me!

A book of Truth, its flavours and tempers
A brush of colours that sketches and rhymes
A radiating flame bursting from embers
A sword of thoughts with sweet Nature aligns.

I owe you

The new Smile, the Spring time, the blazing verve
The thrill of the heart, the mine of countless spaces
The thirst for verses of instinct and nerve
The Muse of genuine Art one embraces.

You awe me!

Nature, your beloved.. your sanctified creed
The love declaration to pen Juliet!
God's purest Gift, of verse a devotee
The silence of mountains is your asset.

Between frosty cobalt-cliffs, cruise-ship hesitates to pause,
Amidst ice sculptures echoing cheers of spirited applause,
Mesmerizing enthralled sights evincing awe-struck trance,
Lauding vast gelid expanse, hypnotizing eyes of romance.

Buoying on inlets, flaunting aesthetics of sculpted designs,
Dark blue glaciers rise for miles, as our ship gently aligns,
Watching seals resting lazily, ruminating on blocks of ice,
Empathetic of frightened sparrow decrying the crowd-size.

Gracefully ship circles around, as if staging a festive dance,
When in enamored glance, caressing hints of romance,
We praise motifs on water~ floating white cotton balls,
Where shards chromatic fall from frozen-tall bluish walls.

Miles of crystals adorning yonder, glinting cerulean blue,
Stack mounds of white contrast on distant emerald hue,
As Glacier Bay begins to fade retreating in rearward view,
When ship's whistle blows aloud, bidding a fond adieu.

A journey we treasure now in albums of cherished past,
Where moments unsurpassed, coveting-forever last,
Embracing precious memories evoking paradise on earth,
Glamorizing place-idyllic, luxuriating in cadence of mirth.

Heavy heart hears,
Ink invokes ire;
Dance deeply dear,
Expose empire.
Hurl hurry's horse,
Expose empty;
Ask apt applause,
Voice vanity;
Yield yonder yes.
Hide hopeless husk,
End each express;
Air aligns ask,
Rust reaps refill;
Thrust troubles thrill.

Born into this earth one day quite unaware,
We grow with time and eventually age.
Pass through stages many and varied,
And in activities manifold, we busily engage.

We do not know what tomorrow unveils,
Or where the road we tread may lead.
But within us is a realm that will never change.
It is something that to vagaries, never shall yield.

Beneath all fluctuations, it stays static.
It is the light of consciousness that in us shines,
That has been slowly built in us through our breeding.
Through values garnered and what God in us aligns.

This screen of awareness is something so palpable,
But can never be seen yet stays securely intact.
It is the consciousness that God has planted in us.
Defeating all deceptions, it helps us choose the right act.

When we experience pain and heaviness of heart
On the screen of awareness may appear a shining star
It will sure pilot us through the dank and dark corridors of life.
Help us stay firm in fluidity, showing who we truly are.

Beliefs and concepts may evolve and change with time,
But as long as we are insulated within the protective screen
Of awareness, it will distinguish the genuine from the sham,
And our life will glitter in all radiance and heavenly sheen!

The Wisdom of the Solar System

Blanketed in crimson, Mars glows with fire,
while Venus sparkles with deep medallion-
The twilit moon shining in fierce desire,
each planet aligns into a stallion.

Jupiter is the largest sphered planet,
it acts as a strong mirrored reflection-
Pluto’s surface is rough like harsh granite,
the sun and Neptune make a connection.

Our home galaxy is the Milky Way,
containing two hundred billion bright stars-
The comet soars like a keen castaway,
bringing stunning life to earth from afar.

The pure wonder of the solar system,
brings phenomenal wonder and wisdom.

This Magic In the Sky

As the dusk of darkness settles in the
sky above
The setting of the sun masters
colors we all love
Stars begin to twinkle, covering the
heavens at night
As the moon appears in its beautiful
array so bright

Magically in different forms until it
comes to be full
The starry dippers chasing one another
as in a duel
Disappearing as the clouds come into
sight with haste
The rain falls supplying the earth with a thirst full taste

As the dawning aligns itself with the rising of the sun
Creation blossoms as a result of what the
rain has done
Blue skies allowing its rays to bear its warmth upon us
White clouds puff across the sky, as large
as an Octopus

Figures are created with each cloud
whether big or small
The wind moves the tops of trees,
whether short or tall
Watching the sun half circle, shading each part of our land
Birds singing in harmony like heaven’s marching band

The magic of beauty is seen in the
heavens day and night
Planes flying from east to west until
they are out of sight
Hot air balloons of all colors rise above
following the cloud
People watching noisily with clapping hands so loud

Paratroopers falling from heaven framed
in pictured glory
Flowing with grace as this majestic
 view tells their story
Children releasing balloons while watching their flight above
Their face reminds us why this magic
in the sky is so loved

The Painted Islands

The beaches brushing Hawaii's sea blues,
in and of itself are impressive track,
perceptive picturesque color-filled views.

Like some isles, Punalu'u beach is black.
Elsewhere here, famed Kahena, sandy scene

called *Papakolea ... fanned sands of green.

Though, appropriate they're olivine, said

If no signal fires a mental wasteland blazing passion,
Angelic vibes are only found through third-eye action

You'll feel less discomfort if you're into the ideal aura
Life is not naughtiness, disdain, nihilism, or oxymora

Be selfish, but invest your life in an act that can last
Before ceding to entropy, face qualms and hit aghast

Freedom is to be oneself without asking permission
Be caring and vest a mark—even if it faces suspicion

You are not bound by this body, intellect, or reality
You are unimpeded mental alertness and eternity

Prayer opens the third eye and links one to space
The spine-full mind travels across key psych places

These nodes agape consciousness to cosmic awareness
Divine corridors—yet eons of vacuity obscure fairness

Vipassana is being mindful of this staple life reality
Spirituality aligns, awakens, and merges life's vitality

Assume your previous assumptions proved correct
You learn you agnize less than you thread, in effect

With a third eye wide agaze, one can peer at foresight
When the truth appears, you will find out the real sight

Clear thinking requires the transcendence of cognition,
With a clear mind, hearing, and insight, reach fruition

After profound interior changes, you saw an upheaval,
Lucid dreams disclose our unconscious facts retrieval

Living with other-dimensional groups implies sharing
Your or other people's vitality isn't optimal or bearing

Wildflowers in the desert can survive without water,
They delve deep and trust that the rains will never falter

Altering makes us dance, as our hearts are dazing
This is a path to caring, inner sight, and stargazing.

Premium Member Jolted By Twilight

Once again the silvery moon has pilfered the golden sun
Total eclipse is upon me, time has elapsed suspending orange
Twilight’s begun on the orb’s descending softer glow

Veiled in twilight…
Placid and limitless, I’ve glimpsed into the frontier in tranquil rapture
Moon aligns sans sun’s bright face

Jolted by twilight…
I coast along a sea of stars juddered wildly
Waves spanning the sky avec abandon
Embraced by star-strewn externals
I leave behind a familiar harbor
Anchored are my temporal remnants down in the terrestrial realm
My spirit soaring, a mirthful lodger I be,
swimming in twilight’s radiance
Its celestial smile shall be the death of me...

embracing star-strewn
crowned external forevers~
we soar the tides dance

Shadows

As the moon aligns itself with the stars
I search to find me
Can’t find my way
My psyche is perplexed
Seemingly, I long to be found
Yet, I have left no trail of sanity
Left no footprints of sincerity
Silhouettes are numerous
Where I was last portrayed
A mire outline, a profile
A mirage
Depicts the whereabouts of my mind
Illusions and premonitions
Forebode life
Foreshadow the inhabitation of despair
Predict the transition into solitude
Sheer hues of the deep, dark night
Diversify the challenge of discovery
Still I search
Overlooking not one possibility
Though my vision impaired
I continue franticly
Seeking for myself
Among the many shadows

Premium Member We the Eagles

To fellow young Eagles,
At poetry soup,

Such a confound,
The pull down,
Once an Eagle gets off the ground,
Flying I guess prohibited,
Once exhibited,

Good advice to fly,
Remove sty from eye,
For will pull us all down,
Before out love is wound,

To fly safe and sound,
May we all wind, love on level ground,
It is our license to fly,
For love doesn’t lie,
As we fly in God’s sky,

Love’s proof is in our pudding,
Or flying we couldn’t,
Our protocol, is all,
That keeps us from fall,

So mixing a little spittle,
In our dirt, wouldn’t hurt,
And placing that on the sty, of eye,
So as to see clearly,
Everyone’s, love pie, in the sky,

A young eagle flopping around,
Of course, should remain on the ground,
Un till love is found,

This I write to all of those,
Who might think to them,
I am apposed,
We all came from the same nest,
Eagles at best,
May we all reach our quest,

For faith will see us all through,
And make us all new,
Stuck together as glue,
By the unity of us hon,
The world will be won,

This is my love’s scoop,
Written to all at poetry soup,
I am here as you all,
I don’t wish any to fall,
I just believe, that love is the gall,
That prevents any from fall,

We are all on the ground,
Flopping around,
Let it be the love of each, that is found,

This is certainly my wish,
As we push,
Toward better times,
As our love aligns,
And refines,

If any be offended,
I challenge we end it,
I am not you,
And you are not me,
But in love’s garden,
There are many roses,
Sincerely Moses!!

Premium Member This Morning So Fine

Fall begins this morning so fine
On the mountain hill, I reside
Crisp fresh air and warm sunshine

Greet me, as everything aligns
The season flows in like the tide
Fall begins this morning so fine

The wispy leaves and plants entwine
Within this scenic walk outside
Crisp fresh air and the warm sunshine

Some trees with color of red wine
Happy thoughts send others to hide
Fall begins this morning so fine

For now this moment, is all mine
For now, only happy tears cried
Crisp fresh air and the warm sunshine

Soulful food, to enjoy and dine
This new day takes me on a ride
Fall begins this morning so fine
Crisp fresh air and the warm sunshine
