(Another look at Funnel Spiders)

They spin and spin in dark of night
funnel and tunnel beneath my sight
then slide inside to hide from view;
yet, like a thug with talons, tug
an innocent bug, snag him snug,
then proceed to chew him through.

Check the sky aim high and then just fly
There's so much you can do, achieve

~Author's Notes:

"The Pantoum" is a Malaysian verse form adapted by French poets and very occasionally imitated in English. The pantoum is a poetic form derived from the pantun, a Malay verse form: specifically from the pantun berkait, a series of interwoven quatrains. The pantoum is a form of poetry similar to a villanelle in that there are repeating lines throughout the poem.

Aim High

Aim for the best in life
Try to be the first
Greater heights await you
Never give up hope
Its true life is very short
But make the best out of it
Stand on the highest mountain
And have the best view in life
Achieve bigger goals
For greatness awaits you
Shake the hurt away
Say goodbye to pain
Don’t be shaken by anything
Coz you are not the worse
Big moments are ahead of you
Never fail to fly high

I Was Born For Heavenly Aim

Who said, a soldier was born to die?
Hitherto dose’nt prove hence who said why?
Why do they yell and, do cry?
For a man who reached ample high!
Abode of eternity!
Heaven of infinity!

A soldier ,who live and die for the nation,
Is not a forgettable or midget creation,
He who died in this passionate passion,
Left a noted precedent of noble division,
Of his noble birth
For his nation worth,

In peace in war, who stand still,
In rain,rage,rill,tempest,tornado,typhoon and fill,
His soul with a righteous will,
To bring back peace in country till,
Comes serenity,
Comes tranquility,

I’m a soldier, born to live, for heavenly aim,
Born to serve, defend, and earn eternal fame,
My life is reserved hence not lame,
Man of concrete, Soldier is my name,
Don’t matter, If I’d die,
Tell my mom not to cry,
Born to live,
Not to Die.

See
The
Sky
Now
Aim
And
Fly.
There's so much
You can achieve
Just set your mind and focus
Don't let anything stand in your way
Because God has a divine plan for you
Look at the sky when in doubt, don't stop
For the sky is the limit and you can do it
You can do anything that you dream about
Just aim very high and accomplish anything
You desire, don't be afraid, just fly and then

~Author's Notes:

The "Pub Bell" is a poetry style created by Patricia Ann Farnsworth - Simpson.

Aim and Power

we all suffer from fatigue
we all suffer from pain
we all suffer mood changes
we all suffer personality changes
we all positive and negative
we all withdraw from
we all obsessive about
we all abused and abusers
we all harm ourselves and others
we all seek physical and psychological pleasure
we all take prescription medicines
we all know that there is not a straight border between illness
we all know that there's not a straight border in Cardiology
we all know that there's not a straight border in Urology
we all know that there's not a straight border in Mental illnesses
we all know that there's not a straight border in Medicine(s) (s)
we all have a power deeply strong in
we all blot on
we all receive into the mind and retain
we all take in something
we all take in
even metaphorically
we all assimilate
consume
soak up
sop up
belt down
guzzle
we all kill like cigarettes with our concluding actions of defeat
we write quickly afraid of,
life is like Sports where we all want to score the most
in our search for the New we want to differentiate dissimilate
We all want to be very positive in our features and attributes
we all have our dues
we all want the best for the other
we all linked
we all care about
we all have our causes
we all have the right to a better tomorrow
we all wish the best to our friends,
we all want to help the disadvantaged
But are we listening to our power that unmistakable guide us along the path of life, Our love, truth and abundance,
Are we following it?
Are we close to others?
Are we respecting the natural environment?
or we all do the above as climbers,
kidnapping the flame opting-show off (commercial also)
replacing Power for an aim leaving the traits in oneself-locked

Premium Member Cupid's Aim

CUPID'S AIM
Here are the hearts and roses I might send,
wrapped in a tapestry not meant to see,
depicting Cupid's aim, at someone's friend,
who's unaware of what's about to be.

I visualize the scene, and know it well,
that arrow tearing deep into the breast,
a poison tip, the ringing of the bell,
the dizzy feeling, helplessness at best;

in cold of winter, most appropriate,
for love, the warmer of all things divine,
to come along, as if it hadn't yet,
allowing us to send a valentine.

The day will echo love songs light and deep,
and sweets will tease the palate and the tongue,
while someone's heart, falls to uneasy sleep,
and breaks no matter if they're old or young;

in this, the tapestry, I wrap the rose,
and bury it into the deepest part
of all I am, and will be, I suppose,
where it will keep, forever in my heart;

and on this empty day, when Cupid nods,
acknowledging what love is bringing on,
while laughter from Olympus, Grecian gods,
are pleased with how their little joke has gone.

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV)

-“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 (NIV)

- Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer
Romans 12: 12 ( NIV )

-The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”
 Exodus 14: 13 ( NIV )

~Author's Notes:

The "Pantoum" is originally a French poetry form or style.

-Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you plant - Robert Louis Stevenson.

Make Aim To the Star

The motion of the tides and movement therein beckons on to me,
Silent as it moves over the oceans width, gentle as a wind from the sea;
A mystery is the future of our passing lives, only a semblance of what’s to come,
Through the miracle of our own emotion, or the brilliance of the setting sun,
For in the time it takes to aim at a star, we may only get to the moon

The passions of hope to a child is measured in an instant of time,
A sound so soft is the prodigy of ones time, making faith in our own religion…
Captured is the sight of a comets storm, or the twinkle from centuries past,
Yet the wisdom we gain from our dark privations is held in the semblance of space,
But we reach in thought to a billion years like the measure of a second past by

Look to the wisdom in the extent of our lives, and relinquish all that’s gone before,
Our strongest belief is held deep in the heart, like that which shone from a star;
So bright the light that beams through darkness, over oceans deep and wide
But held secure waits the aspect of a man, and the realm of his wants and desires;
For in the time it takes to aim at a star, we may only get to the moon

He moves quickly through the underbrush
I follow close behind, pushing
Briars cautiously with a hand prepared
To let go hastily and a throat
Holding onto a shudder in response
To the graze of the briar against
Soft, naked skin

He pulls bare branches back,
Threading his way through the pines,
Oaks, birch and different trees
Who sit waiting the first sunlight beam
Of a morning breaking through the night
Delighting in the flickers of life
Birds chirping, honeybees buzzing,
Deer and rabbit scurrying back toward
Their havens, dens awaiting
Leaves crunch softly beneath our feet
In the heart of the forest where
Silence is never as silent as it seems

He keeps moving and I keep following
Listening to the soft whisper
Of a mountain wood coming alive

I break free from his heavy step
Begin to follow the trail of a doe who must
Be going back to her fawn
And look closely for the signs of life
That cling to the dew covered vines and wild flowers
As they grace the edge of the woods
With lavender breath and a crimson caress
Creating beauty amid the jungle of emerald sighing
Softly, like a trace of joy embracing
The colorful nirvana of a realm that relieves
Hearts of their suffering and minds
Of their anxieties, creates a sphere of bliss
Where only God has the ability to grace its perimeters
With gentle hope that warms the heart
And soothes the spirit

He is with me, but up ahead of me
Where I have yet to see
And I hear it – the lifting of the gun
The cocking is quick and it remains to be seen
If it was my step or the raising of the barrel
That caused the stag to lunge forward
Free from the freezer
Free from death
Free for now

Hunting brings me the assurance
That there are still treasures untold
Within the heart of these mountain trails
Where God’s creatures remind us all
God blesses each one
With a purpose
A function
A aim

I Aim For the Twenty, But Hit the Mc

I aim for the twenty, but hit the MC.
I'm doubting that darts will launch me to fame.
It must be bad luck. How tough can it be?
I aim for the twenty, but hit the MC.
I can't let it get the better of me.
I work hard in practice then play the next game.
I aim for the twenty, but hit the MC.
I'm doubting that darts will launch me to fame.
