MY ROBOT BENNY

I have a robot at home, his name is Benny,
Who is also, extremely office friendly.
He wakes me up every morning,
As a new day is dawning,
And taps my hand, ever so gently.
I wanted him dressed in a vibrant colour,
So he was delivered to me in red suited armour,
With extremities of a shiny silvery pallor!
He felt at home from the moment he came,
And loves us all, one and the same.
He is an excellent PA, none equal his talent,
And never sprouts arrant,
Nonsense, is always polite, cute and gallant
Keeps rigidly to a daily agenda,
And has been programmed to shed a tear
When he is feeling loving and tender!
His memory is incredibly large, Benny holds a
Phenomenal amount of data,
And has a robot girlfriend called Zeta!
He loves to impress and is rather vain,
Nobody would ever deign,
To outwit him, for he has a certain pout,
Again programmed, and beyond any doubt,
Has a capacity of many bytes
To flirt with the ladies in our office space,
As he twirls and spins, showing a
Blushing face!
What a special robot my Benny is, we have
Reached an era, a future phase
That dictates,
We will all soon adopt a Benny,
Who I have programmed to say
I love you Jenny!

The Positive Agenda

Be positive today and everyday,
You say what you mean and mean what you say,
Be positive, Be genuine too,
These two go together, to make a better you,
Be positive, keep thinking for yourself
You'll make the right decision, without anybody's help,
Be positive, in everything you do
Be good to others, it will return to you,
Be positive, show others the way,
Better to do more work and far less play,
Be positive and always be strong,
You'll strive to do right with very little wrong,
Be positive, that's the way to live,
Knowing how to love, showing how to give,
Be positive, this is the way to be,
Faith in God to guide you, will provide you, sweet victory!
You'll see!

Premium Member The Snowman With a Political Agenda

I love bright outside Christmas sights,
                especially colorful lights
		on evergreen trees
		that sway in the breeze
and snowmen on clear, wintry nights.

I just witnessed something quite strange,
		a snowman so wrongly arranged.
		He stood on his head.
		I guffawed and said,
“Your butt’s in the air. Quite a change!”

Then to my surprise, Snowman spoke:
"You think my existence a joke?
		I’m planning to run
		for office—such fun!”
		I thought I was having a stroke.

He boasted, “I’ve got a good chance
		of doing that victory dance.
		My stance draws a crowd;
		I’m bold, loud, and proud.
I’m getting much more than a glance!

My butt you see up in the air,
in plain view and totally bare,
		is where my thoughts form,
		though that’s not the norm.
My head’s not why folks stop and stare!”

This weird snowman should make the news,
but I heard no journalists’ views
		on what I’d just seen,
		but what I did glean
was proof that some folks have the blues.

They’re saying some leaders don’t lead
		consistently. So many plead
		for those who won’t show
		their butts, those who know
each vow must be sealed with a deed.

Hidden Agenda

Soldiers marching down our streets.
Fear growing ever deeper.
Agenda hidden by the global elites.
Deals made with the grim reaper.

Forsaken by the ones we trust most.
The truth buried in the lies.
We're in a daze, practically comatose.
This fog will be our demise.

We must wake up and come together.
We've got no time to lose.
Our souls are about to be sold forever.
To live we must choose.

Our enemies are hiding in plain sight.
They've trained us through deception.
Their hope is to win without a fight.
Their support is a misconception.

Their plan's begun its well under way.
Their turning us against each other.
Now is the time it must be today.
Believe me I am your brother.

Compassion
upholding helpfulness
toward better lives…
Such is the seed embedded along plots
of noble charitable institutions
to bloom along their vision-mission-goals
as well as to blossom
like flowers beautifying communities
then producing laudable fruits
effectively becoming assets and blessings, too.

Such is the ideal
and the supposed-to-be anchor
bracing up foundations
funded by philanthropists and caring people
in their love-geared motive.
God be thanked for them
May they be blessed to do and increase more---

Yet in the cloak of kindness
adorned with heavenly promises
varied helping organizations sprout
offering poverty-alleviation schemes
toward financial freedom
along gentle persuasion
of "good faith" exercise---

Yes, in the name of wholehearted contributions
they pursue outreach programs
grant scholarships and medical assistance
but with vested interests
verily undeniable---

Can we forbid the proliferation
of life-building ventures
with hidden agenda
lurking in the guise of charity???

May the Lord help* us be a real help to others!

*Psalm 33:20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

Every Creature Has a Hidden Agenda

Every creature has a hidden agenda
Every dream tells different story
With secrets lashing from opposite directions;
So think of the storm on Christmas day,
Rain taking vacation during planting season,
Wind and dust on wedding day,
Or friends forever changing their minds;
For we live in the midst of distinctiveness
With crossroads everywhere
Conflicts surrounding our unique journeys'
Resurrecting doubts in every corner,
So in spite of happiness in our valleys
Every creature has hidden agenda
In spite of joy growing among us,
Every creature has hidden agenda,
And despite sweetness hanging upon our lives,
We still hold on to our forbidden treasures
Secrets hanging in our hearts
Sheltering our separate formations
That keeps us tight to our hidden agendas
For our bond is not immortal
It is like bunch of tree leaves
Truth and honesty are not guaranteed,
For every creature has hidden agenda
Thoughts manipulation is our daily bread,
For we all have hidden agendas

Hidden Agenda

Hidden Agenda

Fighting hard to maintain
Instigating while, hesitating on that last breath, on that last breeze.
Taking all things with ease
Thought of as a dream lost in a tease
Staring in to the depth of the night skies
Where there is no time for disguise or sleep
Man eyes creep, others crawl.
How steep is the climb.
Sublime is how it felt when moving in stealth, chasing the dream of wealth
Flying high above the clouds, like a trustee of adjudication.
Encompassed by that fascination of procrastination when falling to the ground in defeat. Please, place a blockade on this terror. Lost souls, but still so much to gain.
Slain in its rapture of pain. Wondering was it all left to chance or lost in vain.
Hidden in plain visual sense. Now lets commence and forget about the suspense.
It's here!

Premium Member Political Agenda

What if I put up a blog, or comment about politics.
What if it grates on your soul, in your craw it sticks.

But you think I’m a pretty nice guy, otherwise OK.
You want to support my blog not look the other way.

For the life of you, you find you just can not do it.
You just can’t raise the words from a bottomless pit.

What kind of person am I to put you through all this?
Surely no friend would plead to such thoughtlessness.

There are places on the net for one who is in need,
of venting the poison which in so many mouths feed.

Take your place in history, record your verbal feat.
May you be recognized and valued by all you greet.

Just leave the soup blogs free from political agenda.
Don’t rankle and debate the many political referenda.

Don’t ire the quiet multitude reading your dilemma.
Lest someone go bonkers with a little Iwo Jima.

No matter which side you are on.
No matter you brag or complain.
Someone is always offended.
Please, lets keep politics off the blogs.

God's Agenda

It is one of God’s tender amenities
That my love fits perfectly in my arms.
He matched with care our identities
Arranging a fitting exchange of charms.

It is one of God’s sweetest actions
To make our minds of like accord.
He thus ensured honest attractions
For which we daily thank our Lord.

It is one of God’s grand designs
To have us love after years long spent.
He perceives it is time that love refines,
Blessing our lives with that intent.

It is one of God’s goals for all His family
To lead lives faithful, upright, and true.
He knows that would restore sanity
And is what humankind must aim to do.

Another Agenda

Like an accursed
child That has
refused her mother's
womb peace We
hear slogans of agenda
Dangling in the
lips Of our
rebooted acolytes Of
directlionless leaders
chewing their mouths like
kolanut lost in a journey of
an aborted
marriage This
several seasons like
abiku,our ears host
agendas that dumps us in
regenerated darkness
while dollars transforms to
mountains in coded swiss
bank accounts

A Question of Agenda

Fear
Fear of yourself
Fear of the nameless faceless
Fear

If it wasn’t so divided
By wealth and poverty
Would it seem to need
Defending
Protecting the opulence
Thought to own
By a minority who have
And those who have; none

Live so in comfortable peace
While war is waged
In our name
To steal the resources
By which
All their luxury is made

In the agenda of scarcity
On the supermarket shelves
With all the waste that they create
Rob the food from out of the mouths
Of children starving to death

Dependence on a lie
The fear of losing
Everything
And like the beggars of the street
Sleep in the cold and wet
Seeking temporary shelter
Amid abundance

What good are we to each other
So divided
By money, status, religion and nationality
What good are we
While our global family
Is suffering
What good are we
When all we are
Just keeps on dieing

What use are we
When all we do is fear
And we are not evolving
What use are we
With all this technology
When we can’t or won’t
Or think it’s not our fault
When half the world goes hungry

Still by the names and the labels
We fit the agendas
And the divisions of quality control
Pegs the importance of position
In self aggrandisement
And say farewell to conscience

Better then
Their bellies empty
Than ours

Its now to question
It's now to dicuss
It's now deny
Any hold over us
By the spawn of
The unconscionable
The dregs of the dregs
The descendants of
Misfits septic as pus
Unacceptable beings
Being devoid of true
Soul, lovers of gloom
Who live as in holes
Like spiders in Webs
They only can kill
If their dens are not
Cleaned out; nows
No time to be still
It's time to be active
Spread the news all
Around , their agendas
Have lost it, Humanity
Is taking back ground.'

Premium Member I must have promised

I must have promised to diligently strive
to get up each morning by half past five.
Drink my java, watch the news, keep
things quiet and let her snooze..
Wash up at our bathroom sink but keep
the faucet trickling so she gets a full drink..
Serve her a chicken pate dish, never meat
and seldom fish..
If I'm met with defeat offer a few temptation treats.
Brush my tresses and her hair, bless her with
a St. Anthony prayer..
Once the sun is fully up, let her out to strut her stuff..
When I forget or show some slack, I'm actually snubbed
by my very own cat!
I'll be sticking with this cat's agenda, heaven forbid I
might offend her..
