The Advanced Daydreams of Daisy

Rolling hills of buttercups align a picnic world
A place where roses can be blue in gardens filled of pink
And where the eyes of strangers meet in gaze of tolerance
A place beholding sympathy and empathy and love
Perhaps, a mere illusion, such a world could ever be
Yet, these are the advanced daydreams of Daisy

Cliché: Writing on the wall
Image: Three

I talk with you, again
on the elevated train.
No more writing on the wall
to ten thousand people,
maybe more.
Graffiti ignored,
it’s just you and me
side by side
engrossed
in fast finger talk
to someone else
before the train goes down.

Oh time,

My once trusted childhood friend,

It is so difficult for me to accept the fact

That with the passing of years

You have turned into

A vengeful foe!

Both our brains hazy (and you may be crazy,)
But damned if I don’t seem to love you, dear friend,
Each of us “nutter” on other one’s clutter
But both can be true, with no need to offend.

Our kitchen’s well stocked, but arrangement’s half-cocked,
But a truce still survives for the world is our oyster.
What’s flaccid on grill can be spiced up with pill,
So no need for retirement to monk-dom or cloister!

We eat out a lot and prefer Queen to cot,
Where our snuggling makes time in the sack, time of giving,
Though thoughts of dream home can make both want to roam
Very best’s when your home is wherever she’s living.

Good friends come over, we’re rolling in clover
For friends, hers or mine, always magnify bliss.
Easy to measure, a feeling you treasure,
The rapture you felt when you got first French kiss!

Strange Days In Advanced Stage Loneliness

somewhere in the back of the freezer,
there is an old gallon of ice cream
somewhere in the middle of the refrigerator,
there is a cup with some cold cashew milk in it
somewhere deep inside of me,
there is a hollow space where my heart used to be
my whole body has been replaced by ice
my whole mode of thinking has been overtaken by the mercilessness of the cold

in the center of everything that is me,
there are no friends
in the corners of my life that used to be free,
there are no ends
at the surface of every angle that struggles to be,
there is no life who depends

somewhere along the way,
i lost touch with the rudiments of life
someplace within the decay,
i allowed black cloud normality to simply suffice
at some point between the turn of night to day,
i ceased all efforts to healthily sacrifice

the ice cream is now gone
there is no more cold cashew milK to sip on
all that remains is bad gas, regrets, and many wishes
i now barely exist counting the merciless gnats as i wash the same six dishes

perched on the handle of a spade
looking out for bugs and worms
went on a holiday to Adelaide

off to the pub for rowdy fun

sends birthday cards that are very rude

We live in a time
Where people will
Instantly and instinctually
Grab their cell phones
To record someone in need of help
Instead of rushing to help them
And I wonder…
What did they do before they owned one?

Premium Member Advanced Degree In Plagiarism From Tromp University

These days, the most sought out advanced degree
In Extreme Higher Education is in Plagiarism.
A student can also minor in Overt Racism,
Sexism, Misogyny, Stupidity, and Bigotry.
Help wanted signs will be posted in January,
On every freaking corners in Washington D.C.;
Muslims, Mexicans, Syrians and minorities'
Applications will not be accepted. Senior citizens
Can apply unless they voted in the last two elections.
The reason for the change in rules and policies
Is to NOT 'Make America Great Again'.
Only Europeans and Aryans can apply for political asylum.
The Statue of Liberty will be returned to Marine Le Pen.
More pamphlets will be distributed at the next symposium.

Miracle Man Thoughts
2/2/2023

Old age shown me its face,
when throwback years,
Became the lodging of my thought;

But I’m ready to leave this place,
and in my heart hold no fears,
but review battles that I’ve fought.

I’ve grown old through God’s grace,
life blessed, while awash with tears.
Soon I’ll leave with what I brought.
NOTHING!

Advanced Nouvelle Cuisine

He did his hash slinger training
Then with a couple of his mates
Set up this high class restaurant
Where they didn’t bother with plates,
Just bits of brickkies rubble,
Guttering and such,
Jam jars and slabs of wood
Stuff not costing very much,

And they served minutest portions
Arranged with artistic taste
Just little appetisers really
So very little went to waste.
And they did the strangest things
Like serving food in hay
Even chocolate covered ants
One special gourmet day.

Folk came from near and far
Just to be seen
Eating his creations of
Advanced Nouvelle Cuisine.
And they charged the highest prices
Just to keep it riff raff free
And so very very soon
It became the place to be.

They worked and they strived
Seldom long serving the same
And so they managed to stay
Well ahead of the game
And they thrived and multiplied
Were franchised all over the nation
With proposals from America
And internationalisation,

They got gongs from Palace
And nobody ever knew
They’d only been to night class
To do Catering, NVQ Level Two.
Then came a call from on high
The Palace of Westminster beckoned
He stood a good chance
So the Party Hierarchy reckoned.

It was touch and it was go
But he only just got beat
Standing for the Tories
In a very marginal seat.
Thus he’d proved that old adage,
If you’re daring and brash and bold
The people will swallow
Any old garbage that they’re sold.

In Peter Pan's Advanced Years

IN PETER PAN’S ADVANCED YEARS

What is this life if full of care
We have no sight or teeth or hair,
And when we stand beneath the boughs
Our waistline resembles that of cows.
No time to see when kids we pass
How these young kids smoke their grass.
No time to see in broad daylight
Hotrod cars; or disco clubs at night.
No time to turn at Beauty’s glance
And watch her feet how they dance:
But lots of time to hear her add
With pity, “Not for you, grandad.”
A poor life this if full of care
We crave youth from our rocking chair.

My Ship

In the deep chambers of thought came an idea of the optimal comfortable personal transport vehicle.
An extremely extraordinary craft using off world bio medium technology, with alloys making it highly tactical and strategical.
The outer core increases in strength as it absorbs, stores and release large amounts of controlled connectic energy.
It repairs any hull compromising conditions and works in conjunction with the body in complete synergy.

This amazing out of this world technology can automatically mold to protect a human body against foreign debris from the feet to the cranium.
As energy is collected, controlled and can be released on call constructed of off world material called Vibranium.
A simple water-based compound that can lightly be sprayed on anything which makes it invisible is called Viewayium.

It glides through space, air, water and time without disturbing one molecule which is called transmutable technology but leaves a sweet hint of strawberry geranium.
The time for a dramatic shift is on the rise, ever elevating becoming a space fairing society and my ship will be at the forefront.
Before opposing such a highly technically advanced ship, one should think it over, reconsider, stop, drop and punt.

Premium Member Age Advanced

“I fall behind the age I am, to keep as youthful as I can.”

I'm age advanced, but who could tell
I believe I hide my age well
Face makeup covers the truth
When one's lost the glow of youth
And dressing in up-date gear
That hide bulges that appear
I'm age advanced, but who could tell
I believe I hide my age well.

Premium Member Advanced Animal Mutations

It's the latest intellectual thing; it's in vogue
To dare to say it doesn't make you a rogue
You can let people know that experts can show
That we are just two-legged animals: It's so!

Between us are no unbridgeable separations
We are merely advanced animal mutations
Our music no better than a Thai elephant's clanging
Our language duplicated by an ape on a keyboard banging

So, I'm terribly sorry to be behind the times here
But I find all of this to be unutterably *****
For to me it is the height of laughable misinformation
To try to conceive of an animal with a human's imagination
