Achievement

Almost reaching desired dreams...
requiring, pushing all I achieved.
Failing, attempting many times before...
conjuring, struggling and so much more!
Loving support from friends and family.
Thankful for, making my dream a reality.
Finally succeeding, always striving
to conquer my dreams ever thriving!

HE WAS AN AUGUR,
SHE WAS A SIGN,
OF HOW THINGS WOULD BE
IN A MATTER OF TIME.

WITHOUT SAYING A WORD,
SHE DREW HIS ATTENTION.
TO GODS GIVEN GIFTS
WHICH ARE OFTEN NOT MENTIONED.

PEACE AND TRANQUILITY
OR JUST A REFLECTION
OF THE SPIRITUALLY ENLIGHTENED
AS SHE FACED HIS DIRECTION.

DEEP IN THOUGHT
HE HEARD HIMSELF SAY.
HOW CAN I TOO
BECOME ONE OF THIS WAY.

UNEXPECTED RESPONSE
WAS CLEARLY PROJECTED.
YOU'RE A CREATURE OF GOD
AND NEVER REJECTED.

OPEN YOUR MIND.
SET YOURSELF FREE.
SURROUND YOURSELF
WITH TRANQUILITY.

HE TURNED HIS HEAD,
TO LOOK AROUND.
NEVER BEFORE
A THOUGHT SO PROFOUND.

HE TOOK A DEEP BREATH.
THAN SET IT FREE.
THE GOAL IN MIND.
PUT THE MIND AT EASE.

IT WASN'T THAT EASY.
IT WAS MORE LIKE A TEST.
TO REACH HIS GOAL.
HE WOULD GIVE IT HIS BEST.

HE THOUGHT OF THE SIGN.
HE SAW ONCE BEFORE.
HE SAT HIMSELF DOWN.
DOWN ON THE FLOOR.

HE FOCUSED ON BREATHING.
TO SLOW DOWN THE HART.
IT ALL CAME TOGETHER,
BECAUSE THIS WAS AN ART.

STILL SITTING THERE,
AFTER DAY TURNED TO NIGHT.
HE FINALLY STOOD UP
AT THE SIGN OF SUN LIGHT.

HE STOOD ON HIS FEET.
IT WAS THEN HE REALIZED.
WHAT GOES ON IN MY HEAD.
IS SEEN THROUGH YOUR EYES

Premium Member Top of the List

Let there be no shame in a struggle to the top
For everyone who is achieving is not being a fop,
But expending the effort to be the best they can
It means climbing further upward again and again.

Do not be jealous of those at the top of the list
For they had goals you may’ve, heretofore, missed,
Consider them excellent examples of fortitude
And do not upon their fine successes intrude.

Congratulate and encourage those on the ladder
Above or below you, it really doesn’t matter,
Everyone reaches the summit at his or her own pace
What’s really important is doing so with verve and grace.

Achievement

Never to undermine your own power.
Negative thoughts always upset feeling
Don't ever try to probe your past failure.
Vast capabilities for succeeding.
Needs positive attitude for working.
Decide steps to reach dream successfully
Remember to attain plan finally.
Don't expect any external frequent
help; for your success just work truthfully,
your sincere attempts will bring achievement.

Get The Lead Out

You always think on everything bad,
feeling one mistake will cost all you have,
seeing all sides until it’s too late,
if not satisfied then you just wait,
while other men are playing the game,
half as good as you but winning all the same;
when you can seize it at any time,
overthinking things ain’t always wise.

Get the lead out, get the lead out,
get the lead out, get the lead out,
time’s running down, there’s no doubt,
get the lead out, get the lead out.
Get the lead out, get the lead out,
get the lead out, get the lead out,
time’s running down, go seize it now,
get the lead out, get the lead out.

You always think that it’s too much risk,
only a mad man would dare to do this,
you come up with plans for the right time,
only to see all of them pass you by,
Sometimes you must act fast, on the wing,
stop the damn scheming, just shut up and sing,
the world doesn’t wait for any man,
so take your best shot with what’s on hand.

Play it for the business,
play it for the fun,
play it for the people
until it’s done.
Sing it for the future,
sing it for the now,
sing it so the people
can hear it loud.
Rock it for the pleasure,
rock it for the fame,
rock it so the whole world
will know your name.
Do it for the glory,
do it for the thrill,
do it now ’cause so many
never will.

Is not willing for success
But perseverance.

Victory of Success

Say it loud if that is what thrills you
Say it twice if that is what you don’t want
Say it loud if that is what brings discomfort in you
Cough it out if that will make you feel better
Run it fast if that will take you to your destiny
Step it up if that will take you higher
Dream it big if that’s what feels to be real
Fight it back if that’s what jeopardizes your peace
Give it time if that’s what worth your wait
Pay attention if that’s what you need to understand
Dress it smart if that’s what suits you
Paint it colorful if that’s what brightens you
Push it hard if that’s what you want to achieve
Keep on trying if that’s what fails you
Keep the ball rolling if you aim to reach the net

Goal scorers are those who keep on playing
Possess intelligence to be an intellectual
Be content to be constant but never let the contend
To keep you out of consistent.

Take you position but don’t use it as a possession.
Fly high if you believe that the sky is the limit.

Connect if you want to be collected
Don’t be a captor if you want to captivate.
Stay out of captive so you can be the captain
Be a commander to avoid being a demander.

Civilized is a way better than being a civilian
Hop to host high the classic but be gradual to cut the cost to graduate with gratitude.

Crave not to see yourself in the grave before you create life that will lend you in higher grade.

Be bold to hold the high volts that keep the cold away from the world of your own.

Be vital to visualize the visible visions that will
Violate the violence that victimize the victory of your vigorous success.
Defy to be dependent in order to deposit
The devotion that will deplete the negative emotions in you.

Stand still your integral being to give integrity that intact the instrumental mind you are installed in.

Know that nothing can change the chances that challenges the champion that chairs the chambers of your character
Be ready to cherish the charismatic chapter with champagne that will cheer up the chemistry in you to charm forever

I Am Destined For Greatness

I believe in myself, the greatest I

Ambitious and artistic in every agenda
My ability grows high yet I lay medium

Destiny that I am born for is already designed
Even though I admire my admittance
Serving with pride is my priority to success
The challenges I face strengthen my talent
I believe that one success will Di and Tri
Nothing can stop me because i am forever green
Energy that i have gives nothing but perseverance
Destined but not determined to demand

For I know that my creativity is what I am proud of
Off the limit my ability gives me courage to do
Reality is that I am born to go greater

Greatness is the passion that gives me everything
Repetition of my failure grows me even greater
Even when I am down I still feel the best I deserve
After all perseverance is on the list of my agenda
Trials and tribulations are what give me height
Nevertheless when the pain hit me more often
Enthusiasm is the only essence of my excellence
Success is the song i sing for greatness
Slogan that i pride myself when reaching my goals.

Memoir of An African-American Man, Achievement, I

Achievement, 1 of 2
                            —Time to share—

I grew up in a slum where the gang members,
at the risk of their lives, fight over their turf.
My lullaby was red and blue warning lights
flickering from dashing squared cars and ambulances,
and my bedtime story was the blow of sirens passing through
the streets and alleys between boarded up abandoned houses
standing in rows here and there.

My mother, though loved me dearly,
happened to be a high school dropout
and single who brought this world to me at her teens.

She was a minimum wage earner, therefore, her life was
nothing but struggles, kept body and soul together in misery
between laid off to employed to laid off, between paycheck to welfare
to paycheck that is thinner than a sheet of paper.

Although under educated, she was a pious woman,
and that is why her keen desire was not her son to follow
the steps of her mistake and suffer like his mother.
Her wish was to raise her only child to be a decent citizen
with a noble profession and thereby add some value to the community,
return some good things to the society.

Apart from mother’s great expectation, however,
I was a disobedient rogue child, a kind of problem kid
on the block when I was a lad. I got into bad company
and led astray by them, was irregular in attendance to a school
and cut classes whenever I felt like.

Until one day I learned of my mother’s tragic death
on the way back home from her work,
she was struck by a stray bullet
in the midst of gang members cross fire.

Premium Member My Happy Heart Sings

‘Tis not for me to judge the performances of my life
Or grade my talents, or, speak of some bold endeavors,
Folks who watched me do what I felt needed to be done
May, perhaps, speak of things I could never measure,
There were, to be sure, grand achievements I thought
Worthy of note, a child guided along the way in school,
Occasional opportunities to support the worthy cause
From pulpit emphasizing adherence to the Golden Rule,
From time to time I wrote something worth mentioning
Played instruments, lead choruses, music performance,
Growing a choir of Singin' Seniors was an accomplishment
Trying to make a difference, sometimes a consequence,
I’m personally proudest of always standing up for a right,
For believing in, and standing up for, fair-play in all things
When I think about those small victories for civility won
A medal for social justice, then my happy heart truly sings.

Achievement

Achievement

Achievement…
Is not basking in the glory
It is
The glory of the endeavour

Achievement…
Is not public acclaim
Rather, it is
Personal vindication

Achievement…
Is not looking back with pride
It is
The satisfaction of moving on

Achievement is…

Realizing a goal set,
Fulfilling one’s potential,
Hurdling over an obstacle
The success of one’s dream

Perseverance over failure
Accomplishment against the odds
A step in the right direction
The triumph of one’s spirit

Achievement is…
The reality of a dream
That was, once, shaken out of its trance.
