Beseeched Poems

Premium MemberSecret divine sublime

Sensing that in our life something was amiss,
we beseeched our polarities to entwine
in our heart’s cave, where they may as lovers kiss,
that nodes within us gather under love’s sign,
manifesting boundless rapture, borne by bliss,
as with pulsations of love we so align.
God’s magnetism holds our soul in close embrace,
ignition renewal, at a rapid pace.

We’re touched by Holy Spirit but no one knows,
save our soul’s presence enraptured in delight
and as the benign bliss burn steadily grows,
we’re transfixed in heightened joy by day and night,
for we are in the boat that God Himself rows,
transmuting us here and now as living light.
Such is our secret which with mankind we share,
hoping some pure souls with childlike hearts will pair.

where do I go from here

where do I go from here Jehovah. I have tried and I have not succeed. I did what you have adviced and failed. I have followed your example and instead I am being ostracized. You have seen my affliction, and you have heard my out cries. I wobbling in a pit of excrement, and where is my rope. I have done nothing wrong again, and I am being slaugthered. You have seen the two side of the coin, and why sweet Jehovah you have not saved me. Why perlong this saga when every story has an ending. Why make bad people look righteous and good people look wicked. I have beseeched you on matters and I have groped for your advice, and I have followed them. Then where is my victory; you are Jehovah God of armies, and I have lost the war.

Premium MemberFrom darkness to light

Tricked by ego, troubled by desires, heart sank,
grieving, searching like a ghost, lost in darkness,
turning inwards, to softly slow such thought forms …
   taming the tempest.

Doing nothing, poised in the void, we beseeched
powers that be, to hasten to our rescue,
that we may be bestowed with spherical sight …
   before our exit.

Setting up thus childlike intent, soul softened,
gazing at the radiance surging outward
from our very core, a bliss mist enchanting …
   exhuming all fears.

Premium MemberYou Took the Wind

You listened to the lessons in
the stories that I told,

and nestled in my shadow when
the winter winds blew cold.

I kept you close, beneath my wings,
when shadows came to call,

and when your gaze began to shift,
I fought the coming fall.

I pleaded with the darkened night,
the very moon beseeched,

and painted you a portrait of
the stars you never reached.

You always felt a step behind;
did I just walk too fast?

Of all those steps behind my stride-
I couldn't catch your last.

You once told me you’d chase the dawn
if you could know the sun.

You said my light would keep you warm
if only you could run.

Without you here to trail behind,
my shadow, it turns cold,

and when you fell, my light grew dim;
now broken wings unfold.

You took the wind with your last breath-
I guess you never knew

that all those times I touched the sun,
I flew because of you.

Blue Bird

She flew towards me
A pretty bluebird
Warbling her love

A call of passion

Her hearts desire
Beseeched freedom
As she flies
A marvel in the sky

She lands on me
Takes me by surprise

A pretty bluebird

Premium MemberI Saw God, Now What

At first, God would but listen to me
As I beseeched him to tell me why
many of his creatures were hungry
underneath his heavenly, blue sky

Why did words of hate and anger spill
from lips that, instead, should only sing
Because, my child, you must climb each hill
and each of you then the answers bring

For mountains, meadows and tiny creeks
we are the guardians of the wild.
In caring for them, we must also care
for each other and the homeless child

At last, I hoped, I would see God's face
But then I noticed his rose-hued skies
and in lilac clouds, I saw God's grace
and love extended in a sunrise.

Oh To Wish

Oh! To wish of a far-away land,
Where flowers of all colours bloom without fear,
The colours that our eyes can meet,
Of all the dreams we left unseen.

Oh! To wish of a serene icy lake,
Where the ice sparkles at the morning rays,
The rays of sunshine we beseeched,
Of all the people we left behind in memories.

Oh! To wish of a majestic forest,
Where the canopies are taller than our hopes,
The leaves protecting our inner souls,
Of all the rumination we cannot forsee.

Oh! To be so wishful in existence,
Where the whims of emotions rush a breeze,
The wind reminding us of our liveliness,
Of all in this world we can imagine and be.

Premium MemberVanilla Grace

A spirited moon skipped and skid
across the silent snowy steppes
as a pale sun sidled and slid.

Her passionate sensuous steps
softly seduced the stars to shine
across the silent snowy steppes.

I beseeched the night to be mine,
singing a sentimental song,
softly seduced the stars to shine.

The Milky Way formed a sarong
surrounding me with deep desire,
singing a sentimental song.

I followed lustily in dire
need of fragrant vanilla grace,
surrounding me with deep desire.

The mystical night chided me,
a spirited moon skipped and skid.
Her radiance had blinded me
as a pale sun sidled and slid.

Premium MemberThe Hourglass of Time

Wave upon wave of melancholic feelings of foreboding
barely seventeen and the world was closing in
She would never get the chance to watch her body aging
because of a genetic aberration that was inherited by next of kin.
While the hourglass of time sifted gently through her fingers,
every fiber of her body beseeched and urged, for one more day;

As the chamber of life emptied
her soul became readied *

Then like a dandelion to the lips
she blew the seeds away,
scattering all her hopes
throughout the living air

It was a sad dispersal
f a young girl's passions, and truth be told
she found this to be, quite unfair.

Time's Rebirth

Reality pregnant
gestation released
Facts have been fathered
new mothers beseeched

The door to tomorrow
swings only one way
Birthing conception
—redemption belayed

Pink Beauty Exposed

Beach rose
The blessed shall say
What a joyous day
My Lord beseeched
This day at the beach
Musk Mallow
Watched them grow
Yellow daylily
Caressed immediately
Discovery, a butterfly to be
Look how this miracle spoke to me
Love procured
Secured
Visit
Wild tulips
Strong and undefeated
Change proceeded
Faith within
Where it has always been
Hearts may recall
I chose love above all

God's Time

I welcome change as long as it is God breathed
Like peace turning to war, the blade is unsheathed
Like rain tending the crop, then the sun comes to ripen
For in futility we push to cause, no let God's Will happen

No aspersions cast on diligence
Just that times and seasons know our negligence
As we fail to read the signs of the times
Nothing of the moment and deed rhymes

For until time came did Christ enter Jerusalem
Though beseeched He commended not Himself to them
And when came the hour of the Son of Man to be lifted up
It was the very time to drink of His cup

None knows the day nor the hour but the Father
All knees shall at the place of bow gather
And it shall all change suddenly to eternity
To the baffle and relief of a great fraternity.

Premium MemberMacedonian Man

To Phrygia, to Galatia,
And then up further north:
Thus, Paul and Silas hatched a plan,
And so they ventured forth.

But then, a bit perplexingly,
Christ would not let them through.
The Asia route was blocked to them;
The explanations, few.

When they arrived in Mysia,
Again they tried the north.
Bithynia was blocked as well;
They traveled west henceforth.

And in the middle of the night,
A man came in a dream,
“Please come to Macedonia!”
’Twas from the Lord, they deemed.

So they proceeded with all haste
To those who had beseeched,
For God had given audience
To hear the gospel preached.

Lullaby For Sleepy Joe

Old Man Biden
Dat old Joe Biden
He must know somethin
But seems like nothin
But he keeps rollin
He Keeps on rollin along

Old man Biden
dat old man Biden
While country’s slidin
He stays in hidin
He keeps on stumbling
He keeps on bumbling along

His best advice is
To find a crisis
Like climate change or
Some ‘viralitis’
With this malarkey
Then his autarchy goes on

You may work hard
With sweat and strain
Then make a little money
And you get the blame
But stay at home
In feckless glee
Or walk across the border
Get it all for free

When he starts speakin
Your brain starts freakin
Mind in absentia
Could it be dementia
We took our gambles
Now he just rambles along

Be he impeached
Or he be beseeched
To vacate his space
Look what takes his place!
So let old gone Joe
Let Old Sleepy Joe
Just keep on rollin along
