Bedmate Poems | Examples

Dream

I awoke to screaming
while my bedmate slept,
telepathic scheming

from the dark world
where evil crept.
My body curled

my mind darted
and skin leapt.
Reality faded; illusion started.

I awoke to screaming,
where evil crept.
Reality faded; illusion started.

The Harmless Walkway

Walk for peace as quiet as a stranger
Tread softly without digress on this road
It does look so lovely to endanger
So, neither jump nor leap like a smart toad

Switch left or right if that is your own wish
Just don't change the channel to trade urge
Interconnected scopes will soon vanish
All boosting swags will openly converge

What a shame to the secret explorer!
With many voluntary and shameful mess
Like a bedmate sleepless nights with snorer
Continuations merely stand to impress

How a loyalist turned a turncoat prey
The best means to serve a free turn its sway

Premium Member Cold Feet

March nights, cold and bitter,

       Awaiting spring

         Just teasingly out of sight.

       Cold feet pressed up against

         The warm calves

        Of a muttering bedmate.

      "Are you keeping those

             In the freezer?"

        His almost nightly refrain.

Vengence By Plastic

If someone wrongs you...
Is cruel and clueless...
And you want to get even...
Wait till they're shoeless...
And hand them a pair
Of shiny plastic shoes,
You can't buy one,
They only come in twos...
Then take them upstate,
On a non-returnable
weekend trip...
Set them up with a bedmate,
Young and alluring...
Snickering secretly,
While acting assuring....
Give them a bed,
And leave them alone...
Call all your friends,
Quietly on the phone...
And let them know
What a fool you made,
By acting a shoe giving friend,
And watch their pride fade...

The Man Behind the Scene

You’re so cynical, your mind is kind of hazy,
you’re out of touch and you can’t see reality.
Wrestling with your demons it’s plain that you can’t win,
you scheme and you plot over and over again.

So hateful of opinions that differ from your own,
you turn your ears to no one but yourself alone.
You are but a shadow of what you ought to be,
far removed from all the rest of humanity.

Fences you have built all around you,
holding back all the good things that you can do.
When will you ever learn to show your trust,
when will you finally get rid of your mask?
I can see through you, it’s plain to see you’re lost.

How can you ever think that you can do no wrong
when I see confusion follow you all along?
Isn’t that self-confidence just a front you keep
to cover the pain that you’re hiding there down deep?

Arrogance is your profession, you’re worse than a fiend,
vanity is your bedmate, pride is your best friend!
Love is what you hate and hate is what you love,
all that others own you want to steal and grab.
