What's the point of justifying
Who you are as a individual?
Authenticating, Convincing
someone of your self-worth. Proving one's point
Pre-conceived conclusions, twisted plots
are already illustrated . Proving one's point
I not paraoligmatic I'm striving to be a better
vision of self. Proving one's point
Proving one's point to self dominated, carries
weight, It matters.
I am intelligent, I am resourceful, I am special,
I am love. Proving one's point to self.
SCARS AND WOUNDS
Scars and wounds embedded externally and internally
Over my body and throughout my soul
Authenticating me into my natural being
Causing so much pain and pleasure
As I look into this reflection in the mirror
Its the transformation of this person I am visually seeing
Scars and wounds
Its the gain from the pain
Its the pleasure causing great deals of measure
I could be licking my wounds wearing them proudly as badges, my stripes of honor
To remind and motivate me on futher away from this life I left behind me
Or I can continue to bleed staying stagnant in my past
Which vainly amounts to nothing and I will never last
I’ll just be repeeling the scabs to relive and resurface the bloody trauma of the pain I once had
Continuously reflecting leaving me in my mess, feeling depressed
Or I can just move on ahead and considerate as one of life experienced tests
Nevertheless Im grateful to remain sane, living and blessed
Im leaving it all up to “GOD” to handle the rest
SCARS AND WOUNDS
Authority Supreme
Asserting that "I AM"
Affirmed as GOD and LORD
Assuring salvation
Around love, mercy, grace
Authenticating life
Against man-made god, Zeus...
Zealous king of thunder
Zoomed to gather the clouds
Zestfully controlling
Zodiac, yet indeed…
Zapped by great GOD*’s might
Zenith HIS compassion
Zeroing on true faith.
*1Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Examining the measure of my calamity
I grow resentful and I inflict pain
Seeking to surrender all that possesses me
I lash out at the innocent which discloses my shame
I reach out
The intensities of my suffering I shelve out
Because my quantity is so immense
I become incoherent
Chaos is my universal place
My ferociousness becomes timid
Eternity my expected release date
Society has snatched me by the choker
My community flames an uproar
Makes me want to cry…. Makes me want to holler
What are we fighting for!?
Each morning I rise to the same ole tune
The classic sound
Of the lowdown blues
I have not delivered my hopes or my dreams
My objectives along with my ambitions have went from flares to flickers
To face another tomorrow makes me quiver
I am distressed about authenticating my history
Cry me a river!
A poem authenticating blacks
Black bird
I don’t wanna be called so anymore
I know I’m black but just call me a bird
I’ll fly with my broken wing
And I’ll not only sing into the deep of the night
I’m done with the pain and loneliness
The world will learn to hold me
Soon enough, you’ll see
And I’ll learn to love and care
and I’ll transcend beyond these thresholds
I’ll wear strength and wield courage
I’ll put on insane courage and
an embarrassing bravery
And then I’ll be known as a
BRAVE BIRD
To know your own death
perpetuates addiction
confusing your fate.
To know self feeds life
authenticating purpose
that celebrates Jah!
An 8 year old king
solid food is for the youth
and crickets mean you.
Another day ends with insipid sun
One more uncertain season
Another month ebbs slowly invariably gone
One more uninteresting month another reason
Each bulb impressively pushing old soil up
So absented from every winter irritation
The orchestrated plants unite drinking along nature’s everlasting cup,
Invigorated refreshed, outdoor rains unbidden now and so equip spring’s irrigations
Now offering beautiful uniformity, colours ablaze ferociously
Ever changing illusions painting over the untamed soil
All struggling evermore to imitate natures ordered ways
Unbeatable colours abound, Mother Earth delights in toil
Overlong tall upright grasses allow seeds easy dispersal
Insects dancing on flowers undulating formations.
Accustomed we ever become inclined to ogle things universal
Nature abounds with ever more interesting luscious opulent flirtations
Untold species all working ever closer in harmonious obligation
So unlocking faces all smiling even now in sunbathed oblations still unseen
Yet authenticating spring, escaping winter in fulfilling overall nature’s unification.
