A thousand simple things make me smile...
The sleeping form of a precious newborn,
A child's drawing in his own artistic style,
Pastel shades of the sky in the early morn,
Fairytales written about a magical unicorn.
I am amused by hair with corkscrew curls
on heads of adorable little, giggling girls.
By puppies tripping over their own feet,
Watching moonlight's glow as night unfurls,
And a surprise kiss that's incredibly sweet.

Someone falling should never make me laugh,
But quickly, I'm chuckling out of control
Then sincerely apologize for my social gaffe.
I wildly cheer when my team scores a goal.
I've heard that 'Laughter is good for the soul.'
In a spontaneous moment of outdoor fun,
I've jumped into a deep snowdrift at full run,
I find great pleasure in setting myself free
to share the taste of cotton candy, finespun...
Life is sweet when I make no excuse for being me

You capture me with your radiant smile
Hearty bold laugh impassive and vexing
Little grey hairs in your barely there beard
Needling your chocolate chin for years
Your artistic style and fashion sense
In a suit that could pay purple rent
Of course you write and to my delight
You include me in the story of your life

Premium Member Beauty

There is beauty in this world that’s truly a miracle to behold.
Unexpected romance, that will turn your blood hot from ice cold.

I have loved with a passion that made fire rain from the night sky.
I’m in love with just one woman, and I will be until I die.

I’ve seen the Grand Canyon and felt its majestic and artistic style.
I was captivated by the great pyramids, and the headwaters of the Nile.

I wept at Peyto Lake, with its water of neon blue.
I’ve felt the kindness of strangers, that helped to see me through.

I’ve witnessed the setting sun, drizzle crimson on the coast.
There are so many wonders, but just one I’ll remember the most.

I’ve held it in my arms under this endless sky of blue.
A miraculous work of art, it’s the beauty I see in you.

If tomorrow this world should end, and the beauty it holds is gone.
Your face is what I’ll remember, as I greet my final dawn.

The memory of your smile will last forever more.
When I look, I’ll just see you, the one I most adore.

Blackberry Winter

Reluctant tranquility fills the air
Dismissing expectations with her smile
With frozen wishes melting everywhere
She paints the earth in her artistic style

Dreams, dripping slowly from shivering trees
Transparent presents, covering the ground
Leftover kisses now lost to the breeze
Green taking over where white was once found

But tranquility's brush runs out of paint
As her masterpiece starts fading away
Blackberry winter will cause her to faint
While leaving her empty, filled with dismay

Tranquility's brush was made to admire
She'll paint again when blooms kiss the brier

Note:In South & Midland North America,
Blackberry Winter
is referred to as a period of cold weather as low as -6 °C (20 °F)
in late spring when the blackberries are in bloom.
This is generally in the month of May and is known to
last approximately up to 14 days.

Gentle voice
Soft and soothing on the phone
At any hour, you’re never alone

Spiritual heart
Fills each day with acts of kindness
By her presence you are blessed

Faithful ally
Stands by you when your world’s cold
And never utters a secret told

Generous nature
Whatever she has she will give to you
Knows what you need and takes her cue

Joyful soul
Dries your tears and makes you smile
Paints happiness in artistic style

Loving spirit
Kind words she offers to everyone
Even the most trying son of a gun

Forever friend
Not a ship that passes in the night
Makes your entire lifetime bright
