Of course, a clown
is always clowning
as poets paint their write --
before with pen and ink

dip we nibs wells of performance

transforming dark ink
to colorful spectacle in showtime
spot of light -- like the pancake

our many harlequins,

like Arora, a rainbow
after cloudburst
real tears or daisy squirt?

we apply our big-top makeup

to cover-up and hide

otherwise unmanageable crowds

of deeply incised hurt --

Exquisite Nature

When it rains & the earthly soil smells,
Raindrops fall on the water surface n rebounce,
Nature manifests itself.

When fireflies emit their dazzling light,
In the dark gloomy night,
It's a vision of great delight,
Nature manifests itself.

Arora borialis has it's own grace,
Near the poles reside it's trace,
To brings us out from the worldly race,
Nature manifests itself.

When raindrops get stucked in the spider's net,
It's an appealing sight with each strand so wet,
Nature manifests itself.

The Rainbow river of Columbia,
Is the rainbow on mother earth,
Feeling it's glimpses is indeed a worth,
Nature manifests itself......

When the underside of Victoria waterlily is explored,
Like a natural chair it is floored,
Nature manifests itself ......

After a Huge Hiatus

What a way to appear on status
After such a huge hiatus
Pulchritudinous grace thine
Has inspired poetics mine
Tall beautiful belle flaunting
The pose simply enchanting
The smile emitting the aura
Of my favourite Lord Arora
Ethnicity being your logo
Proud I’m as thy amigo
How dark hair run down
From the cliff of your crown
It resembles the cascade cool
Making me a poet powerful..!

A wide face and broad forehead
The grace that never does fade
Eternal quotient of charm such
Making my poems marvellous much
Infinite is your superfect style
Simply classic being thy smile
With a heart lavish and candid
To verse nonstop thou I need
Magnificent and magical posture
Munificent and magnetic gesture
With tender looks of a Venusian
Martial mavericks of a Martian
How delighting to see thy pic
That makes me a poet prolific..!!

To Reserved

Such a glorious grace of diva
Limitless is her divine aura

Poets compete to verse on her
For she is a presiding Lord of flora

A beauty with brains in tons
Besides being Lord Goddess Arora

Blue gets fixed precisely such
As her drape is like anaphora

Who is she-the enchanting one!
Of course it’s hypophora

Is she a seductress or temptress!
I am sure not less than Tamara

Winsome mien and gorgeous grin
Looks just stunning in coat angora

Wherever she is my lady luck
May she’s all laurels like Laura

A super woman so beautiful
And enamouring in this era..!!

My Plum

I'm a lad, seven and ten

Don't know why I hold this pen.

I'm just a kid, caught in the middle.

Life is a maze and love's a riddle..

Cute little girls, when I do see,

I smile at them, they wink at me.

I'm a bit shy; but do say"Hi.."

To impress 'em, well I do try.

There's this cutie, who lives round the block

It is seldom, but we do talk.

She's a doll, with a zest for life-

Beauty like her,- well that ain't rife..

My heart beats fast, when her I do see,

Only god knows what she thinks of me?!

She stays with me, night and day

I don't know what else to say..

It is love- Or maybe just a phase;

But It sure is a damn good craze.

GLOSSARY :

1. lad- young boy.

2. seldom- rare.

3. zest- a feeling of enthusiasm, excitement.

4. rife - common..

Another Chance

I did what I had to do,

And maybe that was wrong..

So let me sing my heart,

Out with this song...

I know I made my mistakes,

Like everybody does.

I know I didn't apologize,

Is that the fuss.?

You weren't my puppet,

But I made you dance.

I know this is hard,

But do I get another chance.?

You showed me the way,

But I never gave it a glance.

Now I'm ready to pay..

Just give me another chance..

The world was tough, and Love too cheap;

And I had my promises to keep.

Oh Girl! I'm just about to weep,

Hoping for another chance to keep..

The journey was long, and the trouble neck-deep

I blew my plans, and I lost my sleep.

And now I'm defeated, buried deep.

With just a hope of another chance to keep...

                                                                                - The Manoj Arora...
